The only way to "hear" God is to read the bible.Anything that he has to let you know is contained within the bible.He's not going to tell you anything new.

Asking that question is like asking if one's parents are always right. The short answer is, "no". Plain and simple, Nigeria needs to assess the people's needs and what works for the people instead of trying to catch up with the west. The west is being the west and now we need to be Nigeria.

I think I need to do more research on where fashola is building another airport. Can anyone help me with that? Because there is nothing wrong with having more than one airports in a place like lagos. As long as there is a need for it. The thing is shouldn't there be other international airports in more places in Nigeria first? Because if other governors do decide to build and manage well international airports in their states, most of Nigerians won't have a need of using lagos international airport as much.

How is this going to work, because the first 419'ers are the Government officials of both present and past - who have shortchanged the general populace, promising one thing but giving another, these people have bankrupted the mindset of Nigerians, dented our mentality whereby when there is a hint that they are doing their job, we think it is something novel, we start singing their praises, we stand in awe. The fish they say rots from the head, find me a senator, legislator or Governor in Nigeria who has not 419'ed his/her people, then and only then a campaign of such nature might gain ground, otherwise this too shall pass.

Isn't it obvious why the poster has not been able to pass any of the aptitude tests? His use of English leaves a lot to be desired. Yes, he may "belief in competency rather than certificate", but he needs to prove that he actually studied for the certificate first.

Having read some of the comments on this thread(especially the beginning part), it's quite ironic how poor the tenses are while questions are being asked about the quality of certificates in Nigerian Institutions.

Please get a good education if you can and not cruise through school hoping that your shortcuts will go
undetected.

, because I've seen people who just have some qualification other than a University/Polythecnic qualification and they are working in big establishments. When your time comes, your employer will employ you because you have thjat qualification with you and that's xactly what he needs. Don't forget we have employers of labour who are also HND graduates.

It is not a crime to dream big especially as students. During my University days, I had that dream and so many graduates do. Who doesn't want to work with those be companies you mentioned. You can dream but waking up to reality is very essential and that is where a lot of undergraduates get trapped. Most graduates are still leaving in the dream world and unfortunately before most of them wake up to reality, a lot of years has been wasted.

The NLC is in charge of labour as much as they might be toothless, they have little or nothing they can do to help unmployed graduates. It's sad and disheartening.
A lot of people even working today, earn salaries that can only take care of their feeding and transport so at the end of the month, they have nothing to themselves. They leave their homes because they can't just be idle. We pray God to take control because apart from God's intervention, the other way out is a revolution.

Simple solution ' BE CREATIVE'. Dont just sit there writing application. There are over 1M people looking for less than 2,000 jobs available daily. There is a very slim chance of picking a job. Just try come up with some ideas. There are over 150 million people in Nigeria. These people have needs. Find out what people need, provide a solution to that, u r made, simple. Nigeria is a large market. I made over a million doing the American visa lottery just because i went into digital passport photography when things got so bad. Even the digital passport thing surprised everyone around me. some said they never knew people need passport photos like that. Now am stepping up into something else, just because i refused to insist on looking for job. Just try something, when it works,please dont fail to hala me o. You might just end up becoming an employer rather than an unemployed. starting something wipes out the HND/BSC issue. It answers all your questions. God bless u as u try.

I think nigerian gloomy economy has put a high percentage our women into alot of calamities in the name of education.

I tell you is not only ARISTOS that have taken a good sample of our brides-to-be in the name of getting a mean of survival. many PROFESSORS and LECTURERS have also contributed considerably in devalueing our tomorrow's wives in the name of awarding good grades.

These girls generally believe getting a degree is automatic to making it in life only to be faced with problems of unemployment after graduation and the harassment continues with employers.

Invariably, many ladies become used to using this "power of the buttom" to find their ways and the process continues. Really, I believe self dignity is important while not jeopardising eduaction. mind you, the education doesnt necessarily have to formal or a degree education.

It is not only university girls that are involved, women in the corporate world as well, lot of them even married!!

the long and short of it IMHO is that they are women who have decided to use their bodies as a source of financial aggrandizement , and you can bet they will continue to do it when they graduate, albeit in a more refined setting, there are plenty of high ranking women in corporate nigeria whose only marketable skills are toggling the MDs staff of office.

This is my say to the leaders of Nigeria. They need to improve the economy in almost every state in order to improve the standard of living for all. You can't spend all those money on ten lanes when abuja states' population is barely 1 million. Texas state has a population of 25 million, the highest number of lanes they have is about 6. They need to build Lagos, its the Newyork of Nigeria. We need to have about 10 solid states out of our 37 here there will be improvements. Build our own cars, make our products and sell, increase the tariff on all foreign goods so high so majority of people will buy our goods, create jobs by building more airports, roads, ports, 2 million strong military, welcome businesses by making it less expensive with incentives and friendly to do business, invest in energy, nepa 24/7 365 days, increase minimum wage to N80k, let our workforce be trained to meet the life of the 21st century: 80% nigerians and 20% other than nigeria, quality teachers, more government jobs for alot of things in every states to build Nigeria. With this we will attract tourist raising more money. Most importantly Nigerians need to be hard working, less pompous and improve their image around the world in all areas other than fraudsters some other countries think they are. With all this we will be competitive and look more like the giant of Africa with GDP over 1 trillion
