2mch:You are on point catching them in their game. His write-up was intentionally false, typical Obidients. That is the falsehood they have been peddling. It will not work against BOS. The youths in Lagos are awake and will not be swayed with falsehood, half-truths, and tribal cards the Obidients play. I am actively campaigning for BOS, as I believe he deserves a second term. |

Nbote:It is because we are smart enough to know the agenda of the IGBOS to take over Lagos. As to GRV, it is him that is contesting and not his family name. GRV has shown that his interests and love are move for Igbos than Yorubas. That's why he should seek election in Anambra and not Lagos. |

reddingtonblack:You are on point. Igbos don't respect boundaries and that is why we.must resist their attempt to sneak in through GRV. Let's go out their and sensitise our people even those that voted Obi should now both BOS. I am doing that passionately. I do not belong to any political party but I must resist Igbos entitlement mentality. |

raumdeuter:His issue is that he has the backing of Igbos whose dreams have always be to take over Lagos by fire by force, something they will now allow in their own states. Also GRV has shown that his interests lie nd love are more for the IGbos. Adeleke on the other hand is seen as a thorough bred Yoruba whose interests are with his people. GRV is more suited to be governor of Anambra. |

Godfullsam:Thumps up for you. I am campaigning seriously for BOS which I didn't do for BAT at all. We all must work cohesively as true Yorubas and lovers of our state to prevent GRV from governing our state. He is free to go to any SE states that he so loves to govern them 2 Likes |

[quote author=Ovo200 post=121571417]Gbadebo Rhode vivour is our next governor in Lagos state. [/quote Let Chinedu go to Anambra and be your governor there. He can't be insulting his "tribe" and wants to rule the real owners of the land. When he suited him, in order to gain the votes of his true tribe, Igbo, he chose "Chinedu" as his name and contested for Senator in 2019. Now he is Gbadebo because he wants to be governor. We don't want an IPOB to be our governor in Lagos. 2 Likes |

Congrats to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the President-elect of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in the 2023 general election. He polled a total of 8,796,708 to emerge the winner, having secured at least 25% in 30 states. No president has had this large spread across the states of the nation. To all APC supporters, well done for the dogged fight. Be magnanimous in victory. To all Tinubu's supporters, I wish to submit that BAT is on the way to victory. With the result so far released (see attached spreadsheet) and the projections for the remaining Northern states, I don't see how Atiku will be able to catch up with the 1,659,876 lead Tinubu has over him. So, congrats in advance. 8 Likes 2 Shares

Recently, INEC released the final list of candidates for the forth-coming National elections. The publication is quite revealing. The publication shows that Labour Party (Peter Obi) has no candidates for the Senate in Borno, Ekiti, Katsina, Kebbi, Lagos (the State with the largest registered voters). Labour has 1 candidate out of 3 in Bayelsa, Delta, Jigawa, Ondo and Yobe. The Party has 2 out of 3 in Bauchi, Kogi, Niger and Sokoto States. Surprisingly, some less noisy parties such as NNPP of Alhaji Kwankwaso have complete candidates for the Senate in all the States. For the House of Representatives, LP has no single candidate in any of *Borno (9 seats), Ekiti(6 seats), Katsina (13 seats), Kebbi (8 seats), Lagos (24 seats) and Ondo (9 seats)*. Labour Party has less than 50% representation in Bauchi, Jigawa, Kogi, Niger and Plateau. Representations for LP in the following 5 states are also incomplete - Bayelsa, Cross Rivers, Delta, Kano, Sokoto and Zamfara. The implication of this is that Labour Party is alarmingly deficient in almost 20 of the 36 States, in spite of the noise and street parades. With the street parade in Lagos and social media razzmatazz, no one would have expected that there would be no single candidate for Labour Party in Lagos. NNPP has all the 3 senatorial candidates and 22 House of Rep candidates. Noiseless Parties like ADC, NRM, SDP and BP have candidates for all the Senatorial seats in Lagos. All of them together with ADP, YPP, A and ZLP have candidates for many of the House of Rep seats in Lagos |

His birth as mentioned in several bible verses brings joy and heralds hope of redemption for the whole world. So, tell me why you would not dedicate a day in a whole year to thank God for his birth and celebrate it 2 Likes 1 Share |

OkCornel:I want to agree with the person you quoted. None of four points you raised above apply. Tithe is simply a tenth of your income. Now you have the freewill to decide or not whether tithe applies to you. Now, the bottom line is that only God can decide who truly has obeyed him, however he has given us the Holy Spirit who will convict a true believer that errs so that he or she can make amends. |
Religion / Re: Tithe In The New Testament: Who's Wrong Between Daddy Freeze & Nigerian Pastors? by solreb: 12:08pm On Nov 27, 2022 |
Personally, I think it is left for one to make his or her choice. However, such decision should be made on the fact that Jesus specifically warned that no part of the Word of God should be discounted. We all know he quoted old testament (Deuteronomy) verses when tempted just to give credence to the fact that old testament is forever relevant to believers.. And He never condemned paymemt of tithes too. |
