If that’s the deadline for your enrollment you need to contact your school asap. You should be able to do a temporary enrollment with your CAS pending when you get your visa. This will also enable you attend online classes.

natstryker:
Did my 2nd interview September 16th and up till now I haven't received any feedback. The date on my CAS as latest date to resume is 2nd October. I haven't even done anything like accommodation, flight or PTA because of this delay. Please those who know here, if the visa comes after that 2nd will it be a problem?

Interview/Biometrics - 27th August (Abuja)

Deferred complex/ Phone interview email - 16th September

Phone Interview - 17th September

1:50 hours long! Husband had a lot to say.

At this point mentally I’m thinking hopefully my family gets a decision mail within 10 working days from today. Don’t want to stress myself out thinking about it.

Not easy. It’s sooooo annoying.

By His Grace all is well.

Passsegun:
Good afternoon to all members,

Please I got 10 working hours per week under my tier 4 visa.

Is this right?

What can you advise?
Travel / Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 4 by Sonarirok(f): 10:11am On Sep 24, 2020
Hmmmm It seems like everyone that had a phone interview in September that has posted on this thread has not received any feedback.

I hope and pray from the end of this week or early next week we start getting decision mails. Hopefully they will be less busy and focus on deferred complex cases.

OluAjo:
I'm not sure how long it takes...but I'm assuming it shouldn't take more than 1 day or 2 for a decision to be made.

Wish you the very best.

Did you ask how long it will take to process your application after the interview?

OluAjo:
I had my phone interview yesterday the following questions were asked;

- Name
- Date of Birth
- Nationality

- what is your course title?
- why are you going to the UK?
- Why are you going to this particular school?
- what gave this school advantage over other schools?
- why are you doing this course?
- what are the modules in this course?

- who is sponsoring you?
- why is she sponsoring you?
- what does she do?
- where does she work?
- How much does she earn?

- What do you do?
- Where do you work?
- How much do you earn monthly?
- is anyone financially dependent on you?
- How much will be your maintenance/accommodation in the UK?
- Will you be coming back to your present job after completing this course?

- why are you going for this course now?
- what do you plan to do after completing this course?
- what are your future plans?
- Are you doing this course now because of the UK post-graduate visa?

There were other questions but I can't remember them all. The interview lasted for 45 minutes.
During the interview, the network was bad so she had to cut the call and call back.
The interviewer was really nice. She kept telling me to slow down as I'm a fast talker.

After the interview, I asked my own questions as well and she answered truthfully.

I hope this helps other people preparing for their interview.

Apart from this GENERIC questions, she asked other questions that was SPECIFIC to my application so please go over your applications and be honest.

All the Best.

I did mine on 26th August, got the non straightforward email on 10th September, no other mail for 2nd interview, my schl resumed on 7th September and if by 25th September I don't complete matriculation, i may loose the offer. This wait is quite frustrating and am feeling sick already
..

Hang in there. Be positive. Hope you get some news soon.

My husband also waiting. Deadline enrollment looming. It’s frustrating. All will be well.

Congratulations. You can’t input a date less than 2 years. For my son who is less than 2 ...I typed two years and added a cover letter stating the form will not allow me progress till I did so. I also indicated his actual age/date of birth on the cover letter just to ensure there’s no disparity with the form.

Ibromoney:
Thanks for your concern. The question insists on previous address and not the future. The baby was born this month no previous address. The question doesn't even accept 09/2020 to 09/2020.

Thank you.

Okay too late for that. I think it was a yes or no answer and I clicked no. It didn’t occur to me at the time. I don’t think I would have indicated yes on any application since then.

Anyway will see how It goes. I won’t worry myself about it.

I’m a dependent so hopefully the ECO won’t focus too much on me! Haha!

mimilyrics:
It's better to leave it blank or state that it's forgotten than to say that you don't have.
NIs don't go dormant, they are valid through an individual's lifetime. Not having a corresponding ID doesn't mean that it can't be traced since you'll have to list all the names that you've been known by. HMRC can usually be contacted about forgotten NIs but it takes some days to get a response from them.

@mimilyrics was just wondering in my application I indicated I did not have an NI number. I had one issued to me a while ago but I havent used It in 15 years and it’s in my maiden name so I don’t have a corresponding identification for it. That’s alright isn’t it? Does it go dormant? I don’t even know where I dumped it.

We paid £450. You are not required to add the extra four

UKVI will increase your visa expiry by 4 months on your visa.

I am surprised some other persons got a different IHS fee when they inputted course end date.My dependants and I paid £450(=$612) each and it was my course start and end date I inputted, I didnt have to add 3 or 4 months extra.

PS: my course start date is 05/10/2020 and end date is 28/09/2021.

I hope I paid the right fee o

Got the same error message severally. Change your browser and when you click it won’t take you to the error message page. It has nothing to do with the card.

Your card payment is not even getting processed. For cards you should get a payment declined message.

Dried Okro is different. It is grinded or pounded into powder form. The texture is very smooth. It can last months/years if properly stored in an air tight container.

Tastes way better than the fresh one. I don’t think he will leave Nigeria without his Okro!

mamacajah:

Actually, if you noticed I avoided talking about okro..becos you can actually get it there (I think in Asda, they sell a pack of frozen cut ones)
Others have advised against the oil, so to be on the safe side, you might leave it out..
if you are only going to be Lagos for a few days, then I woudn't advise you go through all this stress..buy it where you are coming fom and dry it..if not possible, get someone in Lagos to help you buy it down and dry it for you.. otherwise, just get a few items and take enough to last you for 2 weeks until you can begin to move around..

I have three names on my bank account and other docs. Two names on my passport. Iv always applied for visas that way. Never had an issue.

If you decide to add your third name to your passport you should start the process as soon as possible. The process at immigration for this is quite cumbersome even if you are paying “extra”.

Make sure your NIMC identification has your three names on it and you should also have a newspaper publication stating your change of name. Go with copies of your court affidavit, school certificates and birth certificate.

bodyco:
Your opinion is needed.
I have three names on my bank account statement, two names on my passport and then two names likely on my CAS which is yet to come, my TB cert also has two names.
Although I have been advised to get an affidavit, I'm worried if it will suffice. However, I have the opportunity of renewing my passport which expires in less than 6months and get the name reconciled. But the challenge also would be to amend my TB cert. What should I do. Anyone with such experience before
