The New Testament places God, the Ruler of the Heavens, with the devil, the god of this world. This is not monotheism, but polytheism, and God, Judaism, and the Bible reject it as such.

Jews believe in the existence of The Satan, and not in the existence of the devil. There is a difference between the concept of the Satan and the concept of the devil, even though the words ‘Satan’ and ‘devil’ are used interchangeably in Christianity. For Jews, anything that even remotely conflicts with the idea that God is one and indivisible will be rejected because it precludes true, pure monotheism, as I have earlier noted on this forum. The idea that there is a God in heaven above who fights against a god of the underworld over human souls is not monotheism. Other faiths had this same duality: Ancient Greece had: Zeus/Hades Ancient Rome had: Jupiter/Pluto Christianity has: God/Devil.

Judaism and the Bible tell of a character called, “The Satan.” Almost every time the term is used in the Hebrew Scriptures, it reads, “HaSaTaN,” which means “The Satan.” In most translations, however, the definite article is missing. The concept of The Satan is radically different from the idea of the devil. For Christians, the devil has power and authority in and of himself. However, in the Bible, The Satan only has power granted by God, and has no authority. The Satan is described in only a few places in the Hebrew Scriptures, and in every instance, he is an angel who works for God, not against God, and must get permission from God for everything he does.

There is a verse in the Bible that shows that it is God, the Creator and Ruler of the whole universe, who is responsible for both good and evil, and not a devil or god of the underworld who is responsible for the evil: Isaiah 45:5-7 I am the Eternal, and there is none else, there is no god beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me: 6 That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the Eternal, and there is none else. 7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Eternal do all these things. One sees in many parts of our popular culture, the Christian idea that the devil competes with God over human souls. The phrase that one often hears is that the devil might entice someone to ‘sell his soul to the devil.’ This is simply unbiblical as well. It is God who owns our souls, and God gives our souls only temporarily to us while we are alive on this earth. We cannot sell what does not belong to us. As we are taught in Ezekiel 18:4: Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine . . . And at the end of our lives, our soul returns to God who lent it to us: Ecclesiastes 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. For God, for the Bible, and for Judaism, to have an entity that competes with God, that has power and authority of his own, is to have two gods, and this violates the basic Jewish Biblical idea of monotheism. Some Christians may claim that the devil is not a God, but is merely a fallen angel, one who tried to overthrow God in heaven, and who was kicked out along with those in heaven who followed him and became his demons. There is a verse in the Hebrew Scriptures that appears to reflect this concept: Isaiah 14:12-14 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! 13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. If one were to look at the entire context in which this verse is found, beginning with Isaiah 14:4, one would see that this entire section is devoted to the human King of Babylon, who believed that he was a god: Isaiah 14:4 That thou shalt take up this proverb against the King of Babylon, and say; how hath the oppressor ceased! The golden city ceased!

The entire passage taunts the King of Babylon for being once so exalted, but who was then brought low. The verse likens him to a falling star. In fact, the verse in this translation uses the name Lucifer, which is Latin for ‘light-bearer,’ and refers to the planet Venus in the early morning sky, also called ‘the morning star.’ The verses are saying that as Venus, the morning star, announces the new day but dips below the horizon as the sun rises, so did the King of Babylon rise in the night but fall from his lofty place. This interpretation of these verses originates not in Judaism, but in ancient pagan religions. According to the religious texts found at Ras Shamra in ancient Syria, Athtar tried to displace the god Baal, but instead he descended from the heavens to become the god of the underworld.

But had it been there was a group of people keeping it whether the families take it seriously or not within such a group they will uphold it and continue encouraging one another not to give in to the decadence going on around whether the families are keeping it or not.

Because bad association spoils useful habits so a group of people having the same line of thought on honouring the elderly will continue to encourage themselves on why they must continue to honour the elderly ones in their midst whether such elderly person is virtuous or not!

That's what family is for...encourage each other and teach each other family values and traditions. There is really no need for the whole town to gather in a place just to teach people to honour their parents or don't lie or don't steal or don't steal...these laws has been written in our heart.

There are historical accounts of the existence of Jesus Christ outside the Bible. Even historians will never agree with you that Jesus Christ is a fictitious character. There are many records that proved he walked the earth. All the disciples and everything that happened during their era, has record. You are forgetting that Jesus Christ existed at a time, people were literate and could read and write. As for Christianity, it has evolved and been transformed in gazillion ways. It is corrupted and what we now a control system in the name of religion. Everything Jesus taught is in line with the old testament. However, the church system of today is something else. I am defending the gospel of Christ and not the religion of church.

Whether Judaism or Christianity, they are all man-made ideologies and they conform with man. They change and they come up with unexplainable practices, that is what Jesus came to abolish. The only thing that does not change is the word of God. When Jesus talked about the church, he was talking about you and I as the temple of God. He was not talking about creating branches or denominations. In fact he worshipped in the temple, where judiasm was practiced. He specifically said he had not come to introduce a new law or religion but to fulfill the prophecy or the word of God. In fact the term Christian, was coined as followers of Christ and not to mean a religion.

He brought the gospel to people who were not originally from Israel or according to the Bible gentiles. So its not a building, its not a church, its a relationship with God and his creators. Like I said again, study the history of religion, trace the history, I am not defending a church, I am talking about the gospel of truth.

There is no Jesus in Judaism. To them Christianity is just same old rebranded paganism with a different name. They stick to their God who happens to be the creator of the universe.

I have done a lot of research and still doing more. I have looked at it from every angle whether Hinduism, Islam, and other religions including freemasonry. I am telling you, that the new testament has nothing to do with idolatry. If Christianity has been corrupted, that I agree. Infact we have deviated from the true purpose of the religion and many have wielded its power to control people.

Yes Christianity has committed a lot of attrocities and even imbibed new age practices and idolatry. However, if you look at the new testament, you see how much it criticizes Judaism. All the disciples were persecuted and killed by the Jews including Jesus Christ himself.

They are the people of the law and were rightfully God's own people. However, their adolatory ways or practices and disobedience led them away from God. They don't like the way Christianity portrays them like the prodigal child. They were so fixated on the law and they were not even abiding by it. The Jewish people have a lot of questionable practices and trust me, when you find out you won't be all on their side. You should also find out why it became necessary for Jesus to fulfill the assignment he came to the heart to do.

Like I said, for a critical analysis of any religion, you have to look at every angle. I am not defending Christianity because I'm a Christian but because I am convinced it is the truth. I read literature, watch educational documentaries, look for old manuscripts and learn from different people's perspectives. Besides not all jews are against Jesus. They are actually divided and the Bible says many of them will still come to believe eventually.

Christians believe blindly Paul’s claims that Jesus appeared to him and follow his version of Jesus" teachings and a so-called new covenant despite contradicting Torah’s teachings.
God appeared to a nation and gave them 613 commandments. He said they were eternal, everlasting, binding for all generations. Three million Jews, the whole nation, heard God speak to Moses, which is how we know he is a true prophet. There is NOT ONE commandment about worshiping God's son or the Messiah. How many Jews heard God speak to any of the Christian Bible authors like Paul, Luke, Matthew, Mark, or Luke? NONE!!!!! They don't have the right to cancel anything that God taught through Moses!

There are horrifying threats for disobeying these commandments in Deuteronomy 28. Deut 13 explicitly recognizes the possibility of miracles of false prophets and says, "Do not hearken unto that prophet." Why follow obscure private revelations when Judaism has the most reliable foundation of all the religions in history, a National Revelation from God? There is no more spiritual joy than keeping God’s commandments and worshipping our Creator directly.
