It was only God that existed in the beginning before creation. After creating heaven and earth...and everything in it. He now moulded the statue of a man from the dust of the earth and then sent his spirit inside the statue and it came to life..(became conscious).

Psalm 104:29-30
29You hide Your countenance and they are frightened; You gather in their spirit and they perish and return to their dust.

See verse 30. God sends his spirit and man is created and they replenish the earth, he takes it and the die and return back to dust.

Same idea, Man is God's spirit+ body from the earth.

There is only one God and creator of the universe.
All others are referred to as "the sons of God". The yourubas calls them Orishas.
They represent the laws and principles of life.
There are positive principles and they are balanced by the negative ones.....
They are two sides to God., the positive side(represented by Enki/Jacob) and the negative side (represented by Enlil/Esau). Like I always say. God is sovereign over all his creation. He created them for a purpose. And they exist to fulfil that purpose
The Tanakh refers to the negative side as the "Baals and Arsherahs" they are the gods and goddess. They are the sons and daughters of Enlil....some are mentioned. Moloch(Nergal), Rampham(Ninurta...etc
