Brigadier General is the highest you can get to in the Army if you joined through short service.

You are right though, a graduate of NDA starts as a second Lt. same which is given to a graduate convert. But their rate of promotion is not the same. Also, a short service retires on Brig. General (1 star) while the NDA graduate is the only one that can get to Lt. Gen which is above a major Gen. (well, except you overthrow the govt, and become the president even as a mere Major you can make yourself a full general or even a field marshal as Abacha wanted to appoint himself to)

Oga, a converted short service officer can get to major general. The army has female Maj generals, the navy also has femal admirals while the air force also has female vice marshals. The question now is, are these females graduates of NDA? Is it not recently NDA start taking females to pass through the four yrs in NDA?

I'm sure you know these females joined through short service, but what you don't know is that they later converted.

I repeat, a converted short service officer has exactly same status as his NDA counterparts.

The highest rank a short service officer can attain is Brigadier General in the Army, A commodore in the Navy and Air commodore in the Air Force.

You are also wrong they are given command positions (at least not higher than the highest level they can get)

The highest tenure is 10yrs also.

And they are never given command positions in whatever form as they are not trained military strategists and soldiers but rather occupy only non-command positions.

You do stand a chance. You should be getting about 10points for your experience and 15for your degree. You should hit 65points if you get 20points in IELTS. Generally you'd go as far as your determination can take you. My advise is get all your employment documentation together. All the best.

I am picking the job supply and distribution manager even though my experience of 7 years is in warehouse management (closely related)
I have Bsc and MBA
I believe I can get the 20points for PTE

Please I need real advice from those that know what's on ground if with the details highlighted above I can get the required points. DO I STAND A CHANCE? (considering I'm going to spend about 300k for both the assessment and english test, I think).

Try mr2 first then, I used mr2 and changed to mr3 immediately before rebooting. Hope it works for you too

Have you been able to port to any of the MR1 or MR2? if yes, try to move to the mr3 from there not from the stock rom. I was having the same issues until I moved to mr2 from my stock rom and also flashed to mr3 before rebooting.

Yes, I did. But it refused to open, I just put back the 1.3.2 version cos I saved it on a system and it installed again but the issue of unlocking still persist.

yes, I have active internet connection and also my wifi is turned on. I have version 1.3.2 downloaded from andropalace, I use a rooted phantom A+, I am presently in Ghana (does my location matter?). How do I use the freedom, I don't know about it.

Please bros I need assistance. I rooted my A+ successfully following your instructions. But when I tried to port the thunderous ROM I have problems.
in my cwm I did not see wipe system (step meaning I jumped that step and moved to step 9 to wipe catche something (I found that under advanced)
Also when I installed the ROM from my SD card I didn't see where to click ' OK' as you said so I just went to reboot straight. It installed but goes blank as soon as the phone is turned on, when I try to turn of the phone that's when I get to see the desktop background ( very nice by the way) so I can do anything apart from switch of the phone or enter recovery. I have restored back my original ROM but please assist me to get this I really want it

There is no cause for arguement, all you have to do is to adjust the date on your camera and take another set of pictures to post. Don't let us give room for people to doubt our integrity. Please all, let us use this forum as opportunity to define the way forward. It is because we (southerners) are educated and more enlithened that its paining us that after all the turmoil of school, handouts, suffering hunger, sleepless nights  of reading, handling sexual harrassment from lecturers, running up and down to take care of school cost (like me who had carry blocks for bricklayers on weekends to survive in school) somebody from nowhere will just cut that down and make all a waste in the name of ONE NIGERIA, They dont feel what we are feeling.

As a suggestion, let us use our number and our intellect as youths to push for this change peacefully. let us remember the change that came about (and is still going on) in the arab world started with discussions like this on the net (facebook, twitter etc). They were able to circulate information round without the govt being able to do anything about it before it was  transformed to physical protest after the number had grew tremendously.

Let us start from the issue of NYSC, we all agreed it has outlived its usefulness, let us push for it to be scraped or southerners be made to serve in the south and northerner in the north. Let us start by creating a forum or a web page where people can sign on to if they support this move (i'm sure we have capable youths here who can help with that). when the number start to grow, our parents (who are keeping quiet after their children are butchered) and the media will not be able to ignore it and it will ultimately turn to a physical protest that govt will not have option but to take action on.

Let us stop producing graduates for these mentally retarded people to be butchered. If southern parents dont care about their children and want someone to make 'suya' out of them, then they should just send them to the abattoir, oh sorry the north as soon as they are born instead of allowing government to take them away to the north after over 20years of training all in the name of ONE NIGERIA. E no go better for that man called one nigeria

After this we can now start to discuss of sovereign national conference to discuss our continued co-existence

I read the postings here and i see why the northerners are 100% sure they will continue to dominate this country. for the benefit of who wish to know. Nigeria as put by Obafemi Awolowo is a mere geographical definition. Lord Lugard did amalgamation in 1922 of the northern and southern protectorate for easy governance and NOT because we have anything in common. While our southern leaders (the Ziks, Awos) started clamouring for independence because of their level of education, our northern illiterate "brothers" said NO.

When the pressure was getting too much for the colonial masters they advised the north to be pushing their people into military so as to make sure they will be able to secure power that rightfully belongs to them as they claim that the southerners want to use education to suppress them.

And becuse of the kind of religion that is predominant in the north (religion of war, oh sorry peace) they started seeing nigeria as their property and must only be governed by the north which leads to consistent military coups (because of their number in the army)

Our leaders too in the south because of personal pride and some form of personal ego to be the leader of the most populous black nation did not make use of the opportunity they have to divide this country once and for all.
The same thing is still happening till today, Goodluck Jonathan a southerner will not want your so called "one Nigeria" to break because he will prefer to lead 150million people (even though half of them are animals) than to lead 40million normal human beings.

And the youths that are suppose to use their number, their education, this computer revolution through the internet to force the leaders to peacefully discuss how we are going to correct the ERROR made by devil, sorry Lord lugard in 1922, we are here busy attacking each other that Yoruba is bad, Igbo is bad and we are the ones to still step in the shoes of these leaders.

So if we dont come together and speak with one voice, THIS IS HOW IT WILL ALWAYS BE. They will kill us, we shout and keep quiet they will wait for the next available opportunity and do it again, all they have to do is to tie it to one reason either election, or osama bin ladin, or beauty queen peagent or sharia or anything.
