The way the world sees us as Africans is how they treat us. they (europeans) wouldnt sell dangerous substances to other countries because of enforcable strict laws and regulations. but down here in Africa, anything goes because they know africans are poor & corrupt couple with the fact that if Africans see money, they will loose their sanity and morals

The government agency to create standards and enforce it are still living in stone age. Imagine SON's oil standard for petrol is regular unleaded while the standard for engine oil is API SD which anyone can import into the country. API SD are for cars made before 1979 and that is their standard. Their R& is comatose hence they should have kniwn that 90% of the cars on Nigerian roads are from the North American and so their standard should be our standard. All the Mack trucks are gone. Their rotors are all destroyed. Many diesel suvs are destroyed by the high sulphur content in the diesel and the agency is confused

I want6 gallons of the Mobil1. How can I get it in Lagos

I had a quarter tank in my Range Sports and decided to fill it up with 50 litres and drove into Forte Oil at the Local airport and they filled it up with 88 litres. The pump started from Zero and I shouted at the attendant to call the manager. I told him that Range Rover Sport tank is 80 litres when empty but I had quarter tank of fuel in it. Where did the fuel go to. The manager Mr Shuaibu was now begging that I should pay any amount that I felt like paying. Please dont ask how much I paid. I don forget.
Anther time at 2nd TOTAL in Toyin, Ikeja, they adjust their meters in the evenings and put it back in the morning before 10 am when TOTAL staff begins patrolling, I caught the guy who was tampering the meter and he ran away. Every one started begging to forgive and forget. Buy fuel if you can before 4pm and after 10am the next day. The attendants are poorly paid, between 10-15k a month but they own many cars and buses on the road.

Does the abs light comes up on the dashboard? Let them scan again and it will reveal which of the abs sensor that is the problem. The problem might also be steering angle that needs to be calibrated. Hdc fault is also showing too. Just calibrate the angle sensor and let us know the outcome.

I am sorry about that. I can't contain my anger when I see these oils being sold to us as the best in the market. You recommended the castrol oils and I had no choice but to condemn it. Cars that are required to use api sl are cars made before 2004 and a 13 year old car is not new. I am not selling castrol oils, a friend is bringing it in. I am a user of the product as it is the best oil for range rovers. If you sell your Mobil1 advanced full synthetic for 4000+, why should Castrol extended performance be 8000 a litre? I am currently battling SON on their standard for engine oils which according to them is Api sc and you claim that api sl is not obsolete for modern cars is like forte oil claiming that their synthetic 10000 is good for GM diesel cars but not okay for GM petrol engines. not more than 30k a gallon of 5 litres. Dont worry, there is enough to go round. 5w30, 5w20 and 0w20. Range rovers are fast disappearing from the roads because of fake Castrol oils and aluminium oils sold locally

I thought that I am making business friendship with you. A gallon of 5 litres is sold for 28 USd and a pallet of it is being shipped to Lagos as we speak. If a gallon costs 48k from your end, that must be expensive, very expensive. If you had the Extended performance oils, it will be proudly displayed on your website instead of those obsolete Castrol that you are recommending for us. Castrol edge professional is API SL with ILSAC GF3 is obsolete. Ilsac 5 is the current oil specification. And Range Rovers 2010 to 13 requires 5w20 API SN, ACEA A1/B1 and not API SL, ILSAC 3. It is misleading. Please remove those oils from your website so that people can trust your products. Even the Mobil 1 advanced full synthetic should be at the top of your list instead of the ones listed there. This is 2017 and motorists and mechanics are now wiser.

You are correct about the European formula but 90% of the vehicles are American specs. Castrol 5w40 Api sn and acea a3/b3 is the same thing with oando syn and forte synth10000. Please get the extended performance of castrol and I will be your best friend

Thanks for the information on your oils. The Castrol products that you sell are not suitable for the vehicles that requires Castrol. The 5w20 professional is an API SL which is no longer sold by Castrol USA. It is for cars made before 2004. The syntheic version of Mobil hxp. I am sure that you are aware that 90% of the vehicles in Nigeria are American specs and such, we are to bring in products that suits the American specs. There is no American spec that requires 5w40 engine oil and so please let Eterna oil sell their South African engine oils to themselves. I think the Op was mistaken about M+s beibg winter tyres but for all other issues, yes he is right. There are many factors that destroys the road. Burning tyres on the road aka police on roadblocks destroys the road. All season tyres are not winter but 80% of these tyres are not suitable for our roads. These tyres comes with different temperature ratings like temperature A, B, C. Fitting all season tyres with temperature b is a time bomb waiting to explode and that is the problem on our hands right now. Go to any tyre company and check most of their tyres, they are all temp b and these tyres cannot withstand heat and they can go soft without notice and leave you stranded. The particles used in building the tyres will in the long run affect the state of the road. We all say the US have good roads but if Trump says he is going to build roads, is he building the roads in the desert? 90% of the cars coming into the country comes with temp b and c tyres, that is where we should be very concerned. They are not salvage cars but new cars and good cars and these tyres comes with reduced speed capability rating like S. It reduces your abilty to move faster in winter and summer. The standards organisation of Nigeria is responsible for the tyres being used in the country but we all should join hands with them by not patronising the tyre sellers who are not selling temp a tyres.
