Measures that should be taken while drafting a SOP include:
The main reason behind choosing the target course should be defined clearly.
What were the subjects that made the students opt for the particular course?
Are you part of any activity that would further increase your knowledge of the course that you have chosen?
Why have you chosen this particular university? What attracted you to it?

He can submit in UK, USA, Nigeria and other countries. The only thing he will not do is Medicals. Oh, yes. That's very correct. I mistook Biometric for medical. Funny enough, you were the one I was referring to. It's been a while, so, I forgot somethings, even your Monika. I'm glad to know you are still here. |

Shadypoza01: Good day house, Gurus I'll need ur guidance on this. I got my medical request mail 2weeks ago, and last week Wednesday i conducted my medical request in IOM Abuja, on Saturday my CIC acct was updated to 'Medical Passed'. Hopefully am anticipating a passport request, so do i just chill and wait or i should send a mail (via cic) to remind them that am awaiting a passport submission request ? It's not too late sir, however, you may give it a try, but I will suggest you hold on, it will definitely end in praise! |

I got admitted to SAIT Calgary & would be applying for study permit from the UK. Anyone done this before? A guy had a case similar to yours in part 14 or 15: go ahead with the application, the good thing is that you don't need Biometric from the UK, so, you can definitely apply from a foreign land but your passport submission will be in Nigeria, therefore, you will eventually touch your home country soil. |

Higherground1: This inquiry is for my brother, he has renewed his passport. Hopefully, he will get the new passport in two weeks. My question is this; can he send the passport with the expiry date October 2019 to the embassy and when traveling to Canada, he will show them the new passport and the other passport (expiring date October 2019) or he wait till he get the renewed passport before sending it to the embassy/VAC. There's no penalty for either of the two, but I will suggest he get the visa on the new one. |

Pkay28: Nice one SOP writer. Thank you for doing this. Please in the SOP, is it necessary to state the study gaps there or in the LOE or the Resume? Thank you Yes, it is important. In addition, you should brand yourself by stating what you've been doing. It could be training, employment, or voluntary community service. However, either of the two (SOP or LOE) could bear this. You just need to avoid repetition of points.

My tuition is 4833 CAD per year+ Living Expenses 10000CAD per year
And my sponsor is supporting me with 20000 CAD per year and MUN's financial support is 4732 CAD per year.
My SOA is just to show my persona asset in the first place. $2,000+1.9M ($6,000 plus) isn't up to $10k. If my calculation is not wrong, then I suggest you work on this before applying again. |

Gurus in the house how do I convince them that I will leave canada at the end of my study. please Help a sister ooo I think that was part of the reasons for the denial: going for same level of degree in a related field marks your application with a bold question mark. Not to worry, you are not the first and won't be the last, however, some of this particular set of people got their visa, by giving a strong reason that will back up their application. The SOP is there; it's the greatest opportunity we have to explain the reason behind our actions. Regarding your question, there's absolutely no special role played by agent on an application, you can do it yourself, even more perfectly. |

SOPWriter: Firstly, I will not want to state our problems without the root cause; specifically, biasness is attributed to most living things, even other lower animals. Despite the reward obtained through this act, there are indirect harms it feeds us with. Definitely, you will be wondering how that applies to your Canadian Visa application! Oh, my friend, it does apply to everything you do….. You just have not discovered it yet and I will be glad to reveal this to you. In the post I emboldened earlier, there are two objects (Inability to evaluate and see through the mirror) that explain where our troubles are coming from: these two works together and could be, taken to be identical, however, there exist a disparity firmly resisting their articulation, but above all, our attitude of prejudice needs to be laid aside. To clarify, I will speak on each object:
INABILITY TO EVALUATE Our problem, specifically attributed to this part of the world, is that we do things based on luck; we believe in doing our imaginable best while we leave the best to God, you feel should never rest (sounds funny or harsh), let us try embrace the truth sometimes. Before applying for your visa, you are expected to know all requirements and makes sure you meet it: basically, focusing on f1: you should have a current admission, financial ability (available balance and assets that assures steady income), a statement of purpose that answer all necessary questions about you and your goals, reason for country, course, and school. To summarize, once you have this, you can proceed to your application but that still does not mean you are qualified, until you “see yourself through the mirror”.
SEEING YOURSELF THROUGH THE MIRROR When you look at yourself through that mirror, all you see is an image that reflects your physical structure, in contrast, when the image is broken, you see yourself in different point; the broken mirror picks and reflect the body part that faces it: when applying for your visa, you need to see yourself as that beast of a VO, who is looking for every slight opportunity to deny you, with this in mind: 1) You will not contradict yourself in your IMM form. 2) You will not fill your IMM form accurately and write something slightly different in your SOP. 3) You will not change your career path and never state it in your SOP 4) You will not submit an insufficient available balance, hoping for miracle. 5) Your CV will be identical with your IMM form. 6) You will not state unnecessary things that will raise eye ball while writing your SOP. 7) Your letter of intent will specifically explains your intention. 8 Your financial breakdown will not contradict your statement. 9) You will not make funny mistake that will question your already acquired degree certificate. 10) Your will not question your purpose of visit (depict immigration). I have taken my time to provide this with the best of my knowledge, and from my perception about people’s cases and experience, and I hope you will learn from this write up. In order to write a straight to the point SOP, you should first list down the things you wish to point out in one paper. Then, start writing out the information in a convincing and professional manner; we can assist you to restructure it, if you find this difficult.

ALT2: Morning all, I got my refusal after the BVL based purpose of visit and personal asset.
I have a national diploma and bachelors degree in statistics and going for master of applied statistics at memorial university.
SOP was reviewed by frankrobbn1 and gboyegaD and with the trend in refusal based on the reason above, I think they are just dishing this thing out blindly.
For personal asset, I submitted a 4 month personal SOA of 1.9m with inflow around 50m, landed property documents and CAC document. I never expected personal asset in my app.
I think I will take my time before submitting another application. That's sad. However, I will suggest you subtract your first year tuition and $10,000 from your available balance. The problem might be from there, those assets only count as home ties. |

makano: Sorry for ur refusal ... But with the look of things with ur post,it's obvious u haven't been able to convince them that u are a genuine student that is going to Canada to study and then come back to ur home country.. So in ur next application, u need to write a string and convincing SOP stating why u are studying ur preferred course and how it can be beneficial to you in the future.. Also u fail to convince them that u are financially capable of ur studies and expenses in Canada and also home tie. So u need to work on ur finances in ur next application . Like u will always advise, order for ur GCMS to knw what really is the problem with ur application from the VOs view... Peace That is it! The VO, looks for important keys in your SOP that answers undisclosed questions, and once that is absent, there might be denial. SOP quality is what magnet the credit, not the length. Try to compose something necessarily informative while on this process. |
