Christianity EtcRe: What Ese Walters really wants from Pastor Biodun of COZA by soulfood(op): 5:25pm On Aug 24, 2013
Dear Ese, right now you are probably thinking, Nigerians are not as mumuish as Lagbaja made them to be. Your Pastor was wrong if your claims are right but you are not innocent too. Is this turning out the way you thought it out?
Christianity EtcWhat Ese Walters really wants from Pastor Biodun of COZA by soulfood(op):
The focus of this article is Ese Walters(formerly of COZA), a young lady of respectable upbringing whose parents(if alive) would probably be sad at the turn of events in their daughter's life at the moment while being disappointed in the "Church".

I am lost for words at the recent scandal that has enveloped COZA and hence the Church in Nigeria. I have read the Ese's story and if true, it has only confirmed my disposition towards other Christians(Pastors inclusive) which is that we are all perfect in Christ and no man on his own is Super. This is why the Bible advises us to "flee" all appearances of Evil. That means evil has various appearances so it can come as Boko Haram(viscous) and it can come as Ese (adorable) to the Pastor and vice versa.

This article is not meant to repost the story that I am certain a lot of you have read on various sites and blogs since it was let out by the supposedly "innocent lady" claims to have a history of rebellion against rules and authority. My aim here is to have a look at the intentions of the Lady Ese by analyzing the major actions from her part and the possible reasons why she took the actions including the most recent which is revealing what she claims happened between her and the Pastor. This article does not intend to justify the actions of the Pastor if he did all Ese has claimed but to point out how things could have happened differently. Since the Pastor has not come out publicly to deny or accept the story, it will be immature to focus on him for now as this might end up being a case of mud slinging. We are also focusing on Ese because she is young and we want other young ladies to learn and know how to handle themselves in the such scenarios( Pastor or No Pastor).

My question is; What was on Ese's mind when all these things she claimed happened was happening and what is really on her mind now that she has let the cat out of the bag?

WHAT WAS ON ESE'S MIND IN THE ROOM WHEN PASTOR BIODUN WAS MAKING ADVANCES AT HER?

Her Claim:

This was a bit awkward for me and I froze for a moment as I asked why. He said he had told me to feel free with him and loosen up. I found myself strolling to sit on his laps. At that moment, I felt like a little girl who was experiencing something her mind couldn’t fathom. He asked me to kiss him and all I could think about was seeing him preach on the pulpit back in COZA Abuja, Nigeria, which was my home church.

Or Maybe:

O God help me. My heart wants to leave but my heart is so weak. I am enjoying his company.
I got him finally
Pastor! What are you doing?
I knew you cant resist me for long
God help me get out of here.
(smiles like Delilah) It is working.

WHAT WAS ON ESE'S MIND AS SHE WENT BACK TO THE PASTOR'S HOTEL FOR 7 DAYS?

THIS IS BY AN anna FROM ANOTHER BLOG. I CONCUR.August 23, 2013 at 7:52 PM

Ese and Pastor Biodun need to take full responsibility of their actions. Ese, you could have walked out of that hotel and never go back but you did and that was a choice you made. You could have avoided his calls, it wouldn’t have killed you. Did you seek advise from other pastors in other churches? Didn’t you have friends or family members to talk to? I don’t care if you tell everyone the story but I am worried at the fact that you do not want to accept any responsibility. I have been in positions where my CEO chased me round his office to have his way, I resigned immediately, people in different positions of authority have tried but I said no…not because I am perfect, but there are things that you know is wrong. If I have consensual sex with my boss or pastor, I will take responsibility for falling. A pastor is not God and you could have said No easily. The pastor isn’t God over your life but you probably were too weak to understand that. I would like you to know that you were not abused or manipulated, your heart desired part of what you were doing since you claim you weren’t doing it for money. The rush was probably exciting and giving you some form of thrill. People who have gone through real abuse and manipulation will cringe. I was abused when I was 12 by my cousin so I know the difference. I pray you can find peace somehow and I also pray that we realize that God is King and no man can ever take his place.

i_laugh: The question remains, whats your business if my daughter or any other chose to get pregnant before marriage? Thats the question, whats your business with it and how does it concern you what people's kids chose to do with their life!
There goes the Nigerian. You answered my question with a question. And your answer, which happens to be a questions clearly portrays your mindset. If it does not concern me directly today, i look away. Really? The people whose kids do drugs and rob do not concern either me or you too then. You forget they may just be robbing yours next. What a celeb does wrong in their lives does not affect us directly today, but people are watching and some are picking up the same wrong behavior. Those picking up the behavior will be the ones to haunt you in future, directly or indirectly. These couple could have chosen to have their child on low key but they had to publicize the baby like say "ki ni big deal." Let's not even talk about the spiritual aspect. It's one thing to sin and ask forgiveness, God is merciful to us all. But when you flaunt sin like its the right thing, we got issues.

i_laugh: Mind your own business. Busy body.
How we have come to hate the truth. So pointing out an error made by a celeb now makes the blogger a busy body. Infact, if it is reported that a celeb is a drug dealer, some people will still attack the reporters for being gossips. You forget that this people(celebs) are supposed to be role models and many are watching to emulate them. My question for you; "Would you want your daughter to get pregnant before marriage." Be slow to answer as your response will identify your kind of parent.

I am happy for them but that is not how we role at HTPB. We encourage our women to keep themselves till after the wedding. Let him marry you because he loves you and not because you are pregnant for him. Like a joke i heard, not all marriage proposals start with "Will you marry me?" Some start with, "I am pregnant."

Family35-year-old Woman Molested 11 Years Old Boy For A Period Of 8 Months by soulfood(op):
A 35-year-old woman has been charged with 20 counts of rape and sodomy after she allegedly had an eight-month sexual relationship with an 11-year-old boy.

Sarah Beth Hopkins, from Salem, was arrested on Sunday after the parents of her alleged victim reported her to police.

The boy, now 12, confessed to his mother he had been sexually active with Hopkins for the last eight months.
When Hopkins was confronted she allegedly admitted the sexual abuse.

The family lived at the same apartment complex as Hopkins - who was seen as a trusted family friend - until about two weeks ago, according to KGW.

The mother became suspicious of their close friendship and the amount of time they spent together.
The abuse is thought to have taken place at her apartment and while they were out on long walks together.
Police believe there may be more victims.

CelebritiesThe Story Of A Hardworking Father (mike Adenuga) And His Children. by soulfood(op): 3:48pm On Aug 19, 2013
Worth a head-spinning $4.3 billion, Otunba (Dr.) Michael Adeniyi Agbolade Ishola Adenuga (Jnr) is the 2nd richest man in Nigeria, according to Forbes. That makes him the richest Yoruba on earth.

This reclusive billionaire has one rule that no one can change: he will only get across to you when there is the need for it, but you cannot get across to him. And when he wants to get across to you, he does everything possible to track you down. Nobody in his office gets letters or invitation cards without earlier notice irrespective of where they originated from. You just can’t reach him, and if you work for a courier company, it is nearly-impossible for you to deliver a package to his office. You feel the swagger? That was just an intro, let’s roll!

Although his roots are in Ijebu-Igbo, Ogun State, he was born in Ibadan, Oyo State on 29thApril, 1953.The billionaire is a descendant of Pariola, a very wealthy and influential female trader born in the mid-19th century. Apart from being the ancestor of the Adenugas, Pariola would also produce the Adetonas, the family of the Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona.

Upon his birth, his father was so overjoyed at having another son that he named him after himself. His elder brother, Demola explained that he was not given the name because as at the time of his birth, the fad was to bear purely Nigerian names. Otunba was the last child so his father took the opportunity to name him after himself. He would later die in 1993 in a car accident and his son did a superlative re-burial for him in 2005 with one of the most expensive coffins on earth.

While at IGS, he and his brother (Demola) were nicknamed ‘Ad Belly’ for their huge stature and protruding bellies. Both used to cross the Ogunpa River (which they called River Jordan) whenever they felt like sneaking out of school. They took the huge frame after their parents. Demola was more of his dad while Mike took everything, including his business skills, from his mum. As a child, and under the supervision of his mum, he hawked goat feed, and picked up the street wisdom that came with it.

Although Mike was more fashionable and even introduced his elder brother to the latest wears and perfumes, he still had to seek his help when it came to academic matters. His mother had always been quite cautious about the adventurous and somewhat rascally nature of Mike. She really did not want him to go abroad to study & wanted him to join his brother who was studying biochemistry at the University of Ibadan. She reported him to a commissioner of police in Oyo State then but he encouraged Madam Juliana to let him go, perhaps, that was God’s plan for him. His mind was made up. He was leaving Nigeria. And he left. When he also wanted to dabble into the very risky oil and gas sector and do what no other Nigerian had done before (drill oil), she made her fears known again thinking it was a senseless gamble. He calmed her down, and he would later announce to her excitedly: ‘Mama, we found oil!’

CelebritiesGospel Superstar Deitrick Haddon Remarries, talks About His Mistakes. by soulfood(op): 9:11am On Aug 16, 2013
This article is not for us to judge this couple or the people they are in relationships with. Part of our goals at HTPB is providing real stories of romance, relationships and marriages so we all can learn from the good and avoid the bad. I am a fan of Deitrick Haddon(Don't wanna let you go, Love him like I do) and I have enjoyed some Damita Haddon songs too(My heart belongs to you comes to mind). They were a force together as far as we could see but mistakes were made. I recommend that every couple should always find time to pray together and keep God in the circle.

Deitrick Haddon, star of Oxygen's upcoming "Preachers of L.A." reality show and successful gospel artist, remarried last Saturday to Dominique Mctyer, the mother of his one-year-old daughter, which now makes for his second marriage after divorcing from his gospel singer ex-wife of 15 years, Damita Haddon, in 2011.

Haddon went public with his engagement in January, four months after announcing his divorce was finalized in what was a year-long process. Before his first marriage was legally dissolved, Haddon pastored a church that he took over from his father, but was later shunned by members because they did not agree with his divorce and relationship choices. In an interview with the Yolanda Adams radio show earlier this year, he admitted hitting rock bottom to the point of wanting to disregard his calling after he left his leadership role.

"I experienced that, how you can be so hurt from people and things that happen in life that you say, 'I don't care nothing about church, singing no gospel music, I don't care nothing about none of it. I'm just trying to live!'" said Haddon. "When you go through something like that, you kind of lose your mind for a minute, and I actually lost my mind for a minute. But thank God for His mercy and grace. He brought me back."

In the trailer of his anticipated show, Deitrick also displayed his frustration for wanting to move forward and said he had a new found perspective in trying to restore his life and ministry again.
"It's all about the truth for me from this point on," he said in the trailer. "The truth about my baby out of wedlock, the truth about my divorce. It happened. There's nothing I can do about that. I'm a pastor but at the end of the day, I'm a man," he said.

"Preachers of L.A.," which is slated for the Fall, has already come under heavy criticism by Christians for featuring Deitrick's lavish lifestyle alongside other megachurch pastors from Southern California. In a previous interview with The Christian Post, Haddon explained that audiences will gain insight from watching the show and his personal life will shed perspective on what it is like to lead a church.

"I'm one of the producers of the show and I thought it was necessary for people to get an inside look on what it takes to be a man of the cloth. It's not easy. ... The problem we have in the church is we have been projecting perfection and allowing other people to put us on a pedestal when at the end of the day we are human just like them. I think people will go to church on Sunday and appreciate their pastor more because it's not easy to walk in such a high calling," he said.

Aside from promoting his show, Haddon is gearing up to tour for his upcoming album, R.E.D.: Restoring Everything Damaged, set to release on Sept. 3.

On His Divorce
My objective in this personal message to my supporters is to set the record straight on why I divorced my ex-wife, to clear my daughter’s and fiancé’s name, and to give you the truth. I’m not here to throw anyone under the bus, but I refuse to remain silent while people slander my name because the other parties involved are refusing to speak up for me and about their involvement in this matter. I regret having to continue to speak on this but you all need to know the truth from my perspective.

Music/RadioShould Children Dance To Songs With Sexual Lyrics? by soulfood(op): 8:09pm On Aug 11, 2013
The Nigerian Music Industry has birthed a lot of young millionaires and with it a culture of trashy lyrics. One hour of listening to a typical Nigerian radio station and you will understand what I mean.

The culture of sexually promoting songs was taking to a new level some years back by young Dbanj and his producer Don Jazzy with the song Tongolo. 7 years after and the industry has known little of sane lyrics. The artistes seem to be blinded by their greed and lust for fame so it does not matter to them whose ox is gored. Or how do you explain that they still attribute success of these songs to God. "Your waist, Your waist, All I want is your waist?" And you claim God is behind your success?

I am taking a look at this issue from the perspective of a mother who has had to shut down the TV, avoid the radio just to keep my children from such content. But then, how far can one protect them from what they hear? These songs are played at their school parties, birthday parties, eateries and other public places they visit with or without me.

Exponental: @op, What was FRSC's response?
My confirmation at F.R.S.C proves otherwise. F.R.S.C is a federal body with arms in various states so states that have large demand(Lagos)sometimes request for empty plastic tags from those that don't have such demand whenever they are short in supply. The request is usually made from states that do not have much demand and have excess empty tags. This is allowed within the law of the F.R.S.C. So what happens is that Mr A goes to get his license at F.R.S.C Ojodu, Lagos but his capture and data are put on a tag that was originally produced for Cross Rivers. Hence the license is Lagos issued based on data input at the F.R.S.C capture point but the empty plastic tag on which it is printed still carries the state that the tag was manufactured for.

The police have this information according to F.R.S.C, yet they prow on innocent citizens threatening them with arrest and delay just to get some money off them. I had to go to F.R.S.C office at Ojodu after falling victim to this ploy by men meant to uphold the law but twist it to suit their pocket at every chance.

The Nigerian Police Men in Lagos are at it again. They have started a new method of getting money off ignorant driver's who acquired their license in Lagos.

If your driver's license number starts with LA(Lagos) but the serial number at the back of the plastic tag starts with another states e.g CR(Cross Rivers), they are quick to say you have a fake license and threaten arrest.

My confirmation at F.R.S.C proves otherwise. I think it is quite emotional to expect this man to get any money from NDLEA after an encounter in their line of duty. If NDLEA pay Baba Suwe, then police will need to pay even those that were arrested, detained and later proven innocent in the court. NCAA will also pay airlines for stopping them from taking off on schedule for any reason. The courts will also pay the accused eact time he is confirmed innocent after judgement. Oni should be paying Fayemi and companies will be paying those that attended their on interviews but never got the job.
If the examples you have mentioned above actually happen in civilized countries, they would have sued(apart from the job thing which i am guessing is an attempt at sarcasm by you). This is yet another reason for us to get out of the Jungle as a country.

Baba Suwe is a public figure. A role model to many and a successful actor. Imagine LAPD narcotics dept arresting Sean Connery or Morgan freeman and parading him as a drug trafficker, subjecting him to physical and emotional abuse, only to be unable to prove he had drugs on him. The actor(s) will sue the living daylight out of LAPD. That is how it works my guy.

The instances of people you gave above do not bother suing in Nigeria because they are afraid it will be swept under the carpet like they are about to do with Baba Suwe.

What?!!!!
The dancers were on point. Anyone knows who they are? Some over-hyped dancers may learn one or two things from them.
The drama was well delivered. I just love those short men especially the guy dancing at the end. Then we have the scene with the occult lady and her white powder.
This is how a video should interpret a song. Need i mention the clean and clear pictures. Well done director. Well done Don Jazzy
My only beef is the vocals/lyrics even though he tried coding it. I see the D Prince going far and i hope he preaches positive message with his music. Thumbs up for a fantastic video.
