This is sad, two of my friends have opened up to me about how they were raped as children; one moved past the experience, the other still hasn't but I don't think its a good idea for her to see the man, it may end up doing her more harm than good especially if the man is unrepentant.

Working hard is not THE problem, people are already working hard. If you see another man hustle, you go fear.

What get the result has never been working hard but working smart.

BTW

When these girls talks about hard work, they need to start defining what it means. Many of them, their hard work is simply body work.

grin
Thank you for being on point!
There are hardworkers in Nigeria who have never seen one million naira all their lives.

Anyway, what's my own? I am waiting for the day Nigerian bred men will stop sexually abusing children.

You spoke well, but I think its a bit selfish for them to get married and not tell their spouses at the very beginning. Its heartbreaking when you eventually find out that someone whom you thought was going to be with you for the long haul is just using you as a cover-up. The deceitfulness of that is maddening.

For your last paragraph which I quoted, I am very emotional when it comes to that. And it goes both ways, women also abuse small boys too; I heard of such a case recently and I'm wondering how best it can be handled.

Your coursemate told you her story and you decide to broadcast it? People who are close to you and her just need to connect the dots now and know who the lady is and that may be hugely embarassing if she told you this in confidence. Assuming of course, that your story is true.

I don't think you were right to send this text to your girlfriend's father irrespective of what you were told, what you have witnessed or how you feel about them - you haven't married their daughter yet and even if you have, there are limits to what you can say.
Parenting has no manual, you will get there someday and I am very sure you won't appreciate it if someone treats you like this as well.
So please apologize to her parents if you still want to continue the relationship.

The boy was asking the man what was making him happy? We later got to know the boy was a wizard! Till my last breath,i no go near any club again. With effective awareness, we can make the planet a better place for its inhabitants. Rwanda is currently leading in Africa and it is recognised for its commitment towards a healthier environment which excludes plastic and is very clean. Nigeria can be like that too, we just need to work harder and keep sensitising the public and our families about the need for a better, cleaner and safer environment.

All I can read is some people needing money for Vacation, others probably a new car or landed property.

You are so so right. They keep demanding money for one thing or another as if they make any significant impact. Even if they get funds, the money disappears without touching the lives of the victims on behalf of whom the money was collected.

Nah, he isn't nice. He is broke and it has obviously affected his self-esteem. Men are not magnanimous enough to forgive a cheat and not bring it up later. This is the reason I would break-up with him, if I were you. You're definitely not going to start a marriage with him, having that in mind. That's me assuming you guys will marry, which is highly unlikely, considering the pressure ladies face and how long it takes a young man to stand on his feet.

You both are definitely going to part ways, LATER.
So, why not now?

If you like the other guy, give it a shot(with your head). It's a vicious cycle. Some young guy has to lose his girlfriend for an older financially stable guy to get married smiley

But this your title sha @ jobless boyfriend. Looks like his joblessness is a problem o. Try not to cheat on your next.

You made a lot of sense.

Did you notice something?

They are Christians and Muslims. And here's the interesting part, they are all from Kaduna (South?)

Same Kaduna (South?) where a Jihad could start if you attempt to swat mosquitoes adorning hijabs or squashing a housefly with a crucifix on its neck would lead to an unrest.

Yet these unlikely bed fellows 'mated' and birthed a crime. They UNITED.

At the end of the day, it's about money for everyone. Religion or gender or race just ends up being the tool; the means to that end.

Which explains why Boko Haram, for example, continues to exist: Security votes and all of that.

You are absolutely correct.
Family / Re: "Should Husbands Pay Their Stay At Home Wives Salary?" - Lady Lists Reasons Why by southernbelle(f): 7:18am On May 11, 2018
Instead of demanding a salary from your spouse apart from the normal allowance you get for your personal needs, why not demand to be empowered to work/run a business from home or provide a service from home that will ensure money gets into your account from a different source.
I don't buy the idea of women getting a salary from their husbands for being stay-at-home moms.

A blast from Atina John in response to Reinhard Bonkie's comment during the farewell crusade in Lagos.
Evang. Charles Awuzie wrote:
A Nigerian prophet came to Durban some years ago and preached a message titled "Grace for New Levels"...he kept screaming "I prophesy, you shall get your visa to America" and nobody said Amen. It was in an 80% Indian Church. Nobody in that service needed a visa to America, they were very comfortable in South Africa. They visit America and come back to their good jobs and families. At the end of the service, the prophet chatted me on WhatsApp and told me that the people were not "RECEPTIVE" of his prophetic grace. He said that everytime he preached such messages in Nigeria, people will begin to testify of getting visas etc.
I said to him...
"My brother, calm down. South Africans are not running away from their country like Nigerians. South Africa has a functional system unlike Nigeria. If the Nigerian Government was functional, no Nigerian would say amen to prophecies like getting a visa. Visa is not the gospel, new car is not the gospel, new house is not the gospel, these things can be bought by anybody who earns an average salary in this country. Next time, just preach Jesus and the people will be open to receive Jesus."
His response was very embarrassing and I can't even reproduce it here.
The things Nigerians sow seeds for back in Nigeria are freely available in functional societies.
Nigerian Christians fast, bind wicked uncles and sow seeds for visas... South African, British and American Christians just get their papers together and proceed to the embassy and get their visas. The difference is not spiritual, the difference is in the functionality of the systems.
A Nigerian tithes to prosper, the rest of the world work in multiple jobs, engage in business and prospers. The difference is not spiritual, the difference is in the functionality of the system.
90% of Nigerian pastors in South Africa complain that South Africans don't take God serious and I laugh at them. Nigerians don't take God serious, not South Africans. A Nigerian drug dealer will have drugs in his pocket while leading in intercessory prayers. A South African will rather stay back at home than to come to church and live a hypocritical life. So who is really joking with God?
I know how Nigerian internet love scamners sow seeds to prophets for god to make their victims fall into their scam.
Nigeria is not a godly nation, we are a religious nation. All our political leaders claim that it was God who put them there.
Nigerians should go and seek God without attaching their needs. Then we will know that we are truly a God loving nation. For now, we are just the most religious nation in Africa.
We are using God to get visas, cars, health, houses, marriage etc.

This is a nice piece.
