Patty Jenkins suppose Waka after that part 2. This one is clear proof that just because a director did good the first time doesn't mean they can repeat it again.

Ironheart is supposed to be an upgrade of Iron Man but I can't imagine her beating Mephisto no matter the upgrade. Watching her try will be epic though.

This is exactly what I saw on review yesterday and it seems this is another DC agenda.
I don't expect the movie to be critical darling or having real good quality, but I expect this to be decent.
When this same w@nkers give something like Thor Love and Thunder and She-Hulk scores that flatters to deceive, to trust these ppl is becoming a joke.

You'd be surprised how Black Panther 2 that is probably the best project Marvel has released since 2yrs will receive 95%+.

It's not that I trust the critics. I never said that I just said I didn't anticipate any different. I knew we were not about to get another movie like The Batman when I saw the director. I knew they were headed so I'm not surprised by the reviews it's getting, that's just what I'm saying. BP 2 could fall at the Box office sef.

I didn't expect any different though. All the reviews say the same thing, 2 hours of non stop action sequences meant to distract the viewer from the fact that the movie is just another DC garbage without substance, like we all came to watch a fucking video game. Anyway, let's hope that it makes that $700m+ at the box office because that is the goal. It's not about quality, it's about money. I do wish 100% that the quality of these movies will determine their revenue but that is not always the case. My eyes are currently set on Wakanda Forever.

Ezra Miller's case is just a matter of controversy and many overbloated stories. The dude is wild but majority of the shït thrown at him is mainly propaganda.

Flash has a multiverse story going for it...the biggest DC event movie in years. Multiple major characters as well as Cavill and Batfleck back!! Those are the biggest marketing. Also the Flash character is way bigger than the actor portraying it.
A quasi Crisis storyline is a big draw for comic fans.

If Flash don't hit it's potential, I see at least $850mn.

Michael Keaton's Batman and Supergirl will also appear in it. A lot of work has gone into the production of that film, but I don't understand why they want to take chances. There is too much proof, there are too many witnesses, and there is video of Ezra Miller literally hitting a woman on the street, so the case is more than just a source of debate or exaggerated allegations. Although he has acknowledged having mental health problems and he is actively seeking help, he could go away for 26 years if found guilty.

I don't know if comic book fans won't mind a controversial actor playing the role of the flash but I know that there's a whole article on Hollywood dot come about how his actions and that of JK Rowling's contributed to the fall of Fantastic Beasts at the box office but ok. In my opinion, they should fire Ezra, reshoot those scenes with another actor while he sorts himself out, and extend the release date if needed. But if they are willing to take the risk, no problem. I care too much about the flash movie to miss it because of him but you know how cancel culture works.

And fans on nairaland were busy waiting for it to make a billion at the BO, not knowing they nearly fuçked it up like Suicide Squad 2021 and Birds Of Prey.

Shazam held it own against Endgame, a culmination 20+ movies and did fine, I think it was moved because WB don’t want it to do just fine at the box office but because they want it to do excellent numbers. If they wanted the previous BO return, they’d leave it at the December date.

Earning $366 million on a $100 million expenditure is a success. The story would have been different if the budget was higher. You can't expect them to play such games now that the director has publicly stated that the sequel will be bigger.

The only big release left for WB in 2022 is Black Adam. Not only have they failed domestically, but internationally as well. However, I have high hopes for 2023, considering their lineups (that's if they don't carryout their routine delays/cancellation) for next year

The fact that Avatar grossed $30m in just two weeks for a 13yr old movie means one thing: Avatar 2 is sweeping the world this December.

Lol, franchises like this have already established themselves. The love is massive, they could make trash and the movie will still gross over a billion. Just like Jurassic.

Nowadays these movies are so unknown...they have poor marketing and are easily drowned by the hype of subpar popcorn movies

Young man, the world is governed by revenue. Which of these two movies would you be inclined to promote as the CEO of Netflix? The Gray Man that swallowed $200 million or The Lost Daughter that needed less than $1,000,000. Surely, the one with the larger budget will receive more promotion, but that does not necessarily imply that it is superior to the latter, do well to remember that. Promotion and hype do not guarantee a quality film. It simply means that they have to recover the money spent on manufacturing that garbage.

As for trash movies vomited by the film industry, it has become a worldwide epidemic, it's not limited to Hollywood. You guys are being ridiculous when you contrast the few decent films you've seen from other industries with Hollywood productions that were intended to perform well at the box office (there are other factors that should come into consideration). Even your reviewers on YouTube and other social media platforms are making things worse because they only choose films that they are confident will reach the large audiences.

They drop their trashy reviews, you do the same, and the cycle continues. In the end everything that came out of Hollywood is bad because no one cares about a movie they didn't even hear about (you can't blame them though). The main issue with Hollywood is that they spend money on subpar movies that they then advertise, giving them a terrible reputation in general. That's all.

That post is not far from the truth, it is extremely probable. This is one of the reasons I dislike men who depend on women because they are unable to prepare their own meals. Great storytelling, good acting from the cast.
I don't think they explained the main motive of the killer villain. Wonder what's his endgame or what led to him targeting his victims.

I thought I was the only one. This is the major reason I didn't give the film an A. No back story on the grabber. That film could have used a little satanism. They could have made him to be a wizard who required the sacrifice of little children to appease the devil or something. His house would have been really haunted, the young boy would have seen hell and the whole shit would have been lit X5.

Like I said in another group, horror movies spiced with demonic elements are at the top of the game. Once you go outside logic and bring satanism and the occult into your movie, it gives you the creative freedom to do whatever. Horror films where satanism is expressed with paranormal activity anytime any day ✓✓✓✓
