Here you should be concerned about space, also in relation to line of suite of the intended bird.
Not many landlord would allow tenants with such semi monstar in the yard.
Get the installer to do environmental survey to be sure before you commit your resources.

guys are not just careful in the way they use thus n9. the guy is not bad! your tab must not do everything. guys just go ahead and load all sort of games and drag down the memory. not all apps are compatible to or n9. you musnt force d n9 to run such apps. note, time to time, visit the apps you install, and delete some cache memo content, free the memory from some unimportant apps. also use the right charger as guys have high listed on this forum. pls do routine maintenance on your tab from time to time and you will enjoy it. mind u,you the system is fast and could do auto update of some useless apps you never uninstall thereby drag down or memory and make d guy misbehave.

same question you should have asked before rooting.
Rooting gives you room to tamper with core settings of the device. It also I exposes the system to undue changes that can damage it easily if not well handled.

It is for those of us using it for long now.
the proof of the pudding is in eating. You need the personal experience with the tab to judge by your self.
Remember that every individual has a way of handling electronic device, and that goes a long way to determine its lifespan and functionality in your hand. Most of these problems guys complain about are as a result of how they handle the tab. I'm not marketing for techno, but at least one got an affordable tab/pad that works and doing more for me than those expensive tabs out there.
Just my own view.

you can do a lot with this tab, just know what you want and get the suitable app from pstore.

yes you c, use a flash drive with the otg. tried it and worked well.
using modern thru the otg? Guy its not advisable. the sim card is not a memory card. I tried it and the pad went to sleep for some times.
my little experience shared concerning this wonder full pad.

tytayo: To disactivate the keyboard key, go to setting,click language and key board,it will take u to where u will see android keyboard(AOSP)click it,then u will see sound on keypress.click it to remove d sound.

yesterday evening i nail multi tv[12552(v)19513] with my 1.8m dish and got 97% it took me less than 30 mins, but when i try to nail w3a[12728(v)30000] wit my 60cm dish i couldn't my signal quality was around 44-53% for more than 3 hours. gurus is it not possible to nail this w3a wit 60cm dish? abeg give me tips to follow.

Guy interchange the dish. Use the 1.8m for W3A with same TP, and 60 cm for multi tv with same tp as stated.- Use what u have for now.

If you have the means and space for 5m+ dish, go for it.
Nilesat 102 is gradually being depleted, migrating to 201.
When 201 was being launched, predicted footprint was even at the boarder edge of Nigeria and Niger and we were happy expecting easy tracking with even smaller dishes. Today we can see the reality, far away from us than 102. One day we shall wake up to see the MBCs of 102 removed completely.
All these new birds being launched, do not expect them to be easily reached, or packages let free like the outgoing ones.
Int. New Dawn, you know that already. AB7, I`m not expecting anything better. And so on and so forth.,
What then does the future holds for FTA enthusiast ?

How to test an LNB:

Check with a current meter that it is drawing DC current from the power supply. The approx number of milliamps will be given by the manufacturer. Badly made or corroded F type connections are the most probable cause of faults. Remember that the centre pin of the F connector plug should stick out about 2mm, proud of the surrounding threaded ring.

Use a satellite finder power meter. If you point the LNB up at clear sky (outer space) then the noise temperature contribution from the surroundings will be negligible, so the meter reading will correspond to the noise temperature of the LNB, say 100K (K means degrees Kelvin, above the 0 K absolute zero temperature). If you then point the LNB at your hand or towards the ground, which is at a temperature of approx 300K then the noise power reading on the meter should go up, corresponding to approx 400K (100K +300K).

Note that LNBs may fail on one polarisation or on one frequency band and that the failure mode may only occur at certain temperatures.

If you choose to try a replacement LNB in a VSAT system check the transmit reject filter and supply voltage - you don't want to be one of those people who keeps blowing up LNBs trying to find a good one !

Please let as try to learn the right thing.There is nothing like an HD lnb.HD is just a format for video processing or video delivery.Any normal lnb with a compatible HD receiver will pick HD channels.The manufacturers play on our ignorance and lack of willingness to research to just write anything on their lnb boxes.You may even see an lnb that has a noise figure of 0.1,0.2 and 0.3 all on one box.All these things are just extreme deceptions aimed at either keeping us confused or always in the dark.Let me state and you can quote me anytime that the result of a higher gain of any dish is directly proportional to the size of the dish,the accuracy of the dish mold,the delicate and careful assembly of the dish itself and the unique tracking technique that will be employed by any installer at any given time.(I challenge anyone who thinks otherwise to disprove me). If you have an lnb that has passed all the recommended quality assurance tests of the basic DRO lnbs,you will always come out with the same results.(This however does not apply to PLL lnbs which are far more advanced,expensive and truthfully will not even be considered by the regular African sat hobbyist)

W3a has only ku band -lyngsat.com-transmisson, and lots of frequencies with multiple channels. So can you re-phrase your question?
