@all Please use this space wisely |
How long would it take him to land, still flying on the wings of his discovery? Ok you have the manual, can you help land him? |
@all, We have a serious problem across all these threads we keep creating for our personal issues. The problem is all about taking time to write clearly what ever we have in mind. Mr Privaze wrote 2rsr cable, a respondent wrote rs32. I know of RS232 cable. Too much of abbreviation or impatience making post. Even if I know you are talking of rs232, I still need to understand your expression at first reading, not cracking my head and mind for the implied meaning. Or I think you should post a picture of this 2rsr port for clarity please Mr Privaze. Thank you |
The MBC HD channels on Nilesat 201 are gone encrypted. I see the 201 as programmed for HD channels basically. What would be the faith of that unencrypted on nilesat 102? Nothing really wants to be free anymore. A totally compressed and encrypted world of satellite signals we are drifting to. Time would tell. |
@Farwee, To be honest I have never tracked for 201. My 1.8m dish is poor in gain(warped), I know it would be difficult for me to get Nilesat 201. Now, all those TPs on 201 are DVB-S2, MPEG4/HD except 11727H/27500, 5/6 FEC. Hope your decoder is MpEG4/HD compliant? Anyway, I want to believe the high FEC value could play a restricting/limiting role on the signal from 201. Nevertheless, never give up. If you get 75% on 102, apply patience, do a fresh tracking using the 201 TPs, check and change you polarity. I strongly believe you will soon see green . 4m dish no be small thing now! I wish na me get that dish ![]() Just my experience expressed ![]() THIS IS NOT TO DISCOURAGE YOU. The only thing you stand to enjoy on 201 now is the HD(clear) signal for the MBCs signal I think, which you can also enjoy on 102. All other HD signals are encrypted. Or, carry go if you understand Arab. Enjoy |
Farwee:You really do not need to move your dish from the direction you currently facing. Nilesat 201 is on same direction as the 101 and 102, 7W Get the TPs of Nilesat 201 from http://www.lyngsat.com/nile201.htm and try them. Or blind scan and see. You might have to twik your lnb very well for optimum signal. If you do your tracking carefully well(if truly 4m dish) you should be able to get 201. Just how I see it. |
I Hacked:Agreed you tracked the satellite, both you and lyngsat.com say there is no tp. Yet you tracked the satellite then what and how did you track the satellite? Remember the satellite has no data/L/S/Ka band C band On your motorized ku, Pictures and more explanations will really help us, because I abandoned my ku motor due to some limitations experienced. Give clear pictures on the elevation/graduations on the motor as well as motor make. Your location will help as well. I really want to go back to my motorized systems. Enjoy |
jamolan:bros can you define your geo location in abuja? you can give me a call on 08054589716 for talk. thank you |
And the inspirations keep coming! Good job @George_D, for things like this we want to see and learn from Keep the flag flying |
Olupeace12:haba bros olu. U should know the diff. between ku and c band freq by now. U dont have to be spoonfed in everythn. Do research on your own. Go back to the basics, for u have jumped a class. Just a feeling expressed. |
@all those askingfor PSAT Tv code, na Porn de hungry una abi na wetin? haba!. Na wa o. |
Man City Vs Stoke, Live! On SZTV-5 in the city of Shenzhen in China. Thank God at least I no go miss this one. Good job from all FTA lovers on the forum. Im missing home but not the forum. Enjoy the match wherever you are Thanks. |
mwarawaa:confirmed. DONT WATCH while it last |
Yinka4dad:Bros if truly it is 30m dish, then that must be an earth station that even NTA would love to have. I guess you were trying to say 3.0m. Well you should know that 90cm can give you both Astra 2B and TPA on W7/W4. But nailen 30m dish wt w3a? kai! @all. I very much believe that if you are trying to ask a question, you should try and take your time to articulate your words/spellings well so that when read once, it would be very clear. By so doing I very much believe you will get a good reasonable and timely response. Some questions here were being shun or given inappropriate answer just because of the way they were written. Too much of abbreviation is bad here. This is an honorable forum. Just my mind poured out. Enjoy |
later them go do unnecesary upgrade and when the dx go quench they wil come flood the thread with rubish. Tell them make them hear! If u must buy strong dx buy original. Try make ur findings frm their website and see |
obnelly:My brother NO DEAL! To me, the MBCs are the livewire of that satellite. Else its a trash |
@cantell, i experience same thing. Its from source. |
man u vs man city live on w4 |
@abdul010 It is simple geography. If Abuja is averagely 7 deg E, then nasarawa shld span abt 8-10 E average. U can check naija map for accuracy. That is why W3a-7E and Astra 4a-4.8E are to your west. Even my long positin is 7.03E. My W3a is directly facing up sky, while astra 4a is slightly to my west. But they are both to the east of the prime meridian on the globe, hence the East attached. The more you go eastward, the more you see these satelites to your west. I hope this explanation helps. Enjoy. |
@browncube williams gave d ryt answer. Chek it out urself bro, afterall u saw d post b4 u did post dat ? U cnt be taught or told everythn. Expand ur thinkn horizon just a feeling expressed. Enjoy |
@andymola grow up man! U can not continue with this kind of ?s at this level of ur fta participation. Make findings ur self and u will be happy u did. U have come a long way to knw where and hw to knw if this bird is to d E or W. Just a challeng bro |
action go action come, crtv rocks. |

gadotor:Bros please try to be specific in dishing out infos. These are two different satellites: Arabsat 5A @30.5E, and Arabsat 2B @20E. As you can see, they are 10 degrees apart. The closest tp to that you have posted is 3948R/2200, a feed tp on 30.5E on lyngsat. Anyway, I want to believe its a new tp. But please try to be specific on the particular satellite-it is easier for those on motorized system though to follow up. Enjoy |
@ Olofofo, I hereby humbly apply for membership in to the backyard group. onlyshehu@gmail.com is my gmail account. Thank you |
@all This issue of upgrading decoders unnecessarily, I dont know what is pushing people to do this. anyway, they are damming the consequences. I think all those interested in this upgrade issue should create a thread. ![]() Enough is enough! Discuss something better here, not unnecessary upgrade of Dxs. I hope I have spoken the mind of many in the house Shalom |
George_D:True word my brother. But this new stuff, na how many million dollars you buy am? |
@candy. Kenyan mux has gone off w7, according to lyngsat.com |
@maxstan1, Bros you try o. But from your pix, you can do better than that. Lots of wire flying around, try pack them well and make your finishing looks more neater. Finishing matters alot in such projects. Talking from experience bro enjoy |
. 4m dish no be small thing now! I wish na me get that dish
