@ F Marshal. Thanx a lot. I took tym 2 read HDTV on wikipedia, jst immediately after that post, and I grabed alot. just as u said, they are MPEG-4 coded. the difference between it and the standard/traditional systems we currently use I was able to decode. these are d kind of things that are left to those who want to know. whats up in yankee now bros? just enjoy shaaaaaaaaa! @ Dejsam. can d house tell me what d google group is all about, and who is eligible to be part of it? sometym ago much attention was on fta on 90cm. today its a difrent thing, 1.8m,2.4m and so on. and even geting to "yabing" 1anoda on d forum. d forum was designd witha focus, let not d focus b blinded wth personal interest. split not d forum for we are 1! I hv seen in anoda forum where u make contribution based on d topic of interest. it could be on motors, dishes, practical designs(do it urself) fabrication and so on. wouldn`t it be beter for us too?---its just a suggestion though. pls i still think lots of goodie abide in 90cm, even if the gain is small compared to larger sizes. we could do something my people! |

fine. if u can get an lnb converter give it a trial and let us know whats up. i blv it will wrk since d converter is going 2 downconvert ur sat signal freq. But then, dont u thnk getting a sat dx and connect straght away is easier, rather than patch 1 2 d oda? hw effectv ur patchup is let us know. |

leye1:. Bros this is a terestrial rx and not a satellite decoder! u cant use it with lnb and thats y it has no lnb i/p. simple. sat dx are meant for satellite signal. ur terestrial rx is a mere "advanced "local station rx. |

@ f-mashal good job u must also baer in mind that th lenght and diameter of ur funnl shld b comparable to ur dish size. I mean d opening of d funnel shld be such dat it receives max signal coming to d lnb from dish and not obstruct it. am i making sence? |

Pls has any1 eva used, or hear about ds decoders: XCRUISER XDSR 200 AND XDSR750? I larnt d XDSR 200 is a universal smart card reader, Hw is d performance compared 2 d STRONG series for FTA channels? In adition, for those using Strong DX, can it read all cards? I mn DSTV, HI TV, MY TV, --- etc. I knw d gurus are standing by to respond. thnx guys |

To all in the fta arena. Greetings of the moment to u all out there doing great job in signal tracking bussiness. I commend ur effort all. Spaceman is back 4rm space, and I can see u guys hv penetrated so much to tap signals. D result of ur tracking is an indication of d sensitivity, right use/selection of ur equipment, and hw meticulous u are in ur search. Great job done anyway. Kudos to u oga Twinstaiye 4 ur moderation.
