CatfishBilly:
You called it its name and explained it. In our last conversation, you didn't even mention the name, so, that's acknowledgement.

Lazarus Syndrome is a known entity in medicine I say again. So many explanations have been brought forward and they are being evaluated. That there's no foolproof explanation today doesn't mean there won't be one in the next 3 years.
Then, you'll have to chalk off "rising from the dead" from your list of miracles as every single medical phenomena that has confused humanity in the past and move on to the next one.
Why would I not call it by its given name or should I have constructed a non existent name for it? My calling it by name does not show acknowledgement but it shows reference to another position which wasn't mine. Get it?

Lazarus syndrome is a known entity in medicine which is shrouded in mystery so do not make it sound like its a known entity as a fact of medicine which is empirically verifiable. That would be dishonesty.

Why don't you try this. The next time a person dies on your watch and you try resuscitation and it does not work, do not put down time of death but leave him to experience the Lazarus syndrome since all who came back according to you all had resuscitation attempts first carried out on them.

Try this on 100 dead people under your watch then state your observations. Deal?

CatfishBilly:
It has been found to occur in patients in whom resuscitation was attempted with medical literature to back them up.
Isn't that significant?
At least, you now agree that Lazarus Syndrome is a thing. In our last conversation it sure didn't sound like it.
Sorry I agree to nothing. Where did you see me agree to it being a "thing"?

Lazarus syndrome is called a Phenomenon and you know why? It's because it's cause or explanation is in question.

So I ask again is Lazarus syndrome empirically verifiable in medicine?

By the way the Lazarus phenomenon also occurs in those who did not receive resuscitation attempts as well especially when nobody who was specialised in that was available.

Lazarus Syndrome is not a miracle.
Is Lazarus syndrome an empirically verified medical position?

Lazarus syndrome is called a Phenomenon and you know why? It's because it's cause or explanation is in question.

So I ask again is Lazarus syndrome empirically verifiable in medicine?

Na wa, o! shocked One medical doctor says she believes that this case is a medical miracle. Another one claims there is nothing like that, and goes further to attack her credentials. Why??! Can't people hold on to their beliefs, anymore? Does it make you a bad doctor, if you believe in miracles?

@spacetacular, you have made your point. Abeg, leave the atheists to continue disproving the man's testimony, without adequate proof.
Believing in the miraculous as a medical practitioner makes one sensitive and very compassionate as against all the monotony and lack of compassion from those who don't.

A lot of doctors who do not believe in Miracles would always offer you extremely depressing words even when ones health condition is true to their diagnosis. Instead of them to offer you hope via alternatives such as "Prayer" or "Make peace with your maker", they rather tell you to go home and wait till you die because medically they have nothing to offer and as such since they have nothing to offer then as far as they are concerned, you have no hope elsewhere since medicine is supposed to hold all their answers.

I go against the grain.

You are overly blind to obvious things. Despite the fact that F is clearly displayed beside my ID you repeatedly address me as a sir or a dude or a Mr same way you could not clearly see the difference between SURGERY and SURGEON.

Yet you want anyone to believe you are "intelligent"?. Dream on!

Why do you need to impress me? Ohh, to clear up the mess of "PHARMACOLOGY definition". Eyah. Ndo

All I requested was, "WHAT CAUSES MALARIA and not WHAT ARE THE parasites that CAUSES MALARIA".

Facedesk when face-palm couldn't help..........

Eww, trying too hard to impress me won't help you Sir
Proof that anyone knows their onions in medicine is when detailed responses are given to definite questions.

What causes Malaria? The answer is Plasmodium which are in different strands and occur in specific regions geographically. Their symptoms vary based on the strand and if you do not fully understand the individual symptoms and strands then how would you offer effective treatment?

By the way, I gave you the simplest definition of pharmacology the other day and just to get your pound of flesh from me you called it a faux pas even when you knew it wasn't.

So now can you share with me the medical research you have carried out as the acclaimed pharmacologist you are which explains all these medical mysteries and out of what knowledge you are using to criticise me.

I am patiently waiting.

All the plasmodium you listed are uncalled for. Plasmodium species is ok. You can't impress me by listing them cos they are biota of me.

Anyways, I disagree with you....

God causes malaria. How about that?
Medical ignorance reeks all over you. Plasmodium species?

So since all you needed was for me to say Plasmodium species, are all their symptoms the same and are all treatments the same for all?

Why do you even think that each strain of Plasmodium had to be individually identified?

With each comment you make you keep sinking into the murky pool of "dumb" people.

Have you ever done a research to know the mystery behind those unknown/hidden/uncommon medical conditions?..

If only Archibald Garod followed your footstep, the cause of Alkaptonuria wouldn't have been known.

Anyways, I have just a simple question for you;
What causes Malaria?
I will do you one better. Why don't you share with me your own research unravelling these medical mysteries. I want to believe that for you to criticise my position surely you must have carried out your own empirical research or have you not?

I see you wish to have some trickle down knowledge passed on to you.

What do all these have in common?

Plasmodium falciparum, Plasmodium vivax, Plasmodium ovale, Plasmodium malariae and
Plasmodium knowlesi

Can you now correct me on the cause of malaria? Mr Felixomor already defined you to me so your question simply buttresses his statement about you.

4. Bill Gate donated money for Africa development, Yahweh through tithes and offerings consumed money, using his pastors.

5. Bill Gate is among the richest man in the world, Yahweh is the begger in the holy book.

The force is poverty my friend on one end and the need to show off on the other end.
Ask how many go to church when they travel out. You'll be shocked. The love for God is easier measured when you don't need anything from God than when all your prayers are for material blessings and protection from village people.
Going to church is and has never been the yardstick for measuring Christianity. Going to church is just like attending classes in school for instruction so you can step out and begin to practice what you were taught.

However the Bible also said in John 14:26 and 1st John 2:27 that the Holy Spirit will teach you all things. You can actually sit with the word of God in your room and allow the Holy Spirit to breathe God's word on you and in you and your mind would be blown away. I do this at least twice a week and also go to church but I discovered that I receive more and get better grounded when I receive directly from the Holy Spirit.

Poverty isn't what draws People to God, Love is! Those who come based on poverty and other stuff outside of love are like the seeds that fell on the rock. They sprout quickly because the soil is shallow but their root was on the surface. Those ones get pulled away easily because situations of life brought them and same situations of life can take them away. But a man who loves God regardless of those situations of life is a good soil.

Your case is hopeless.

You're too far gone.
Too far gone to where please? You are actually the lost cause here. You hear the word GOD and you get all panicky and begin to loose your mind and this shows in how badly you wish to discredit anything and everything verifiably linked to God's intervention.

I was like you even as a Nigerian resident in the UK but it took my colleague who happens to be a white British man who preached me into Christ and in Christ I am resolute and saved which I cannot say for you being the lost cause here.

In my line of work I see medically unjustifiable and unexplainable happen regularly and it further digs me deeper into Christ. I see people receive hope in their situation and a new lease of life the moment they embrace Christ which is something they never had when away from Him and you have to wonder, what or who could cause such a tangible radical change in such persons if he wasn't real? What or who would give verifiably self experiencing track records of change and growth if it or He wasn't a part of the change process?

You need to take several seats.

I read about her case when it happened in 2001. She is a gem and a glory of God's making.

She is an American, resident in America and the doctors who told her she would not go beyond her 4th month of pregnancy are American medical specialists yet she beat the odds. She suffered 3rd degree burns to about 90% of her body.

We all know how it starts.

Have you forgotten the pastor who called heaven on his mobile phone?

Or TB Joshua who fought satan's lieutenant?

It's all on YouTube.
I am unaware of these examples you just gave. However regarding the person who claimed to have called heaven on his mobile phone, knowing how people upload on YouTube I am sure they only uploaded the part featuring the alleged phone call and not the entire video from the beginning. I am sure an explanation would have been seen if the entire video was put up and for Pastor Joshua his case is a possibility because even here in the UK we see demonically manipulated and oppressed people a lot.

People who in their time of possession can tell you where you were and what you did even those times when you were all alone. We see them cry out that they belong to Satan when being prayed for (and these are white people, not black) so with such similarities how and why would I doubt pastor Joshua? Should I doubt him simply because he is "Nigerian"?

You say "we" all know how it starts but as far as I am concerned you are alone in that position because he has not mentioned anything about running a church and you should stop with the hasty generalisation.

Maybe you should try attempting to actually see things for yourself, by yourself rather than depending on YouTube.

You keep on shifting the goal posts. First God did it now it is a case of Lazarus syndrome.
I am a christian and a doctor. I separate my concerns. Not once in my training did I come across God as an explanation for a medical occurrence.
In fact summoning God to explain your cases is a certain recipe for failure.
Don't bother I wont engage you any more.
You were the one who first mentioned Lazarus so I had to help you with an expansion.

Medicine tries to use anything and everything to explain what is clearly known and seen to them as unexplainable simply because they want to always have an opinion and feel they hold all secrets to the human body when the very foundation of life which is DNA is yet a huge mystery even with all the advancement we have made.

When did I allude all to God? You stated your observations and I did same and simply because I do not agree with you then I am a medical "disgrace"? You must be a clown.

Since you allude this to autoresuscitation, can you explain how it occurred via your conclusion Since you claim to know everything about how death and resurrection occurs via autoresuscitation.

Clearly state the methodology involved so we can be guaranteed of the same results every time anyone dies and we want him to resurrect.

By the way I ask again, what is your specialty?

This is not a miracle. It is a phenomenon well documented in the medical literature. It has happened before and will happen again.

The patient was mistakenly diagnosed as deceased after what was probably a cardiac arrest. He in all likelihood had spontaneous resumption of cardiac and circulatory activity. The technical term is ROSC
"A patient is not dead until he is warm and dead" is what you are taught in emergency medicine courses because cold preserves the vital organs and can allow recovery later.

In 19th century Europe and America , there were so many cases of people mistakenly thought dead who woke up, that a practice was established of keeping the 'corpse' in a room for 24 to 48 hours with a bell beside him/her. Friends and relatives would gather expectantly waiting with hope. If he awoke he was supposed to ring the bell.
That is the origin of the term 'wake keeping'
You talk about "warm and dead" when he was put down as "dead" in Australia and flown from there to India which was a 13hr flight and his corpse was not "iced". Surely he was "warm and dead" for over 13 hours before being put in the mortuary in India. So can you medically explain how "warm and dead" is out of place here?
