You don’t start counting from the day of swearing in but from the day the petition was filed. The Osun case started around July or August. Supreme Court has another 2 months to decide the case after appeal court judgement last month. So, don’t expect final judgement on Osun till May. Overall, that’s about 10 months.

First, can you provide credible evidence to support your claim that Tinubu supporters have been saying the case will last for 3 years?

Secondly, go back and do a better research. Election tribunal which is the court of first instance have a maximum of 180days (6months) to deliver judgment. If the tribunal judgment is appeal, the appellate court (Supreme Court in presidential election petition) have a maximum of 60days (2months) to hear the case and deliver judgment.

So you see, that’s a total of 240days (8months) in presidential election matters.

And who even told you APC’s 21days will expire on April 11th? You don’t start counting from the day the petition was filed but from the day the petition was served on the respondent. You then make adjustment for public holidays. So you see, we still have a lot of time to play with and further give you guys sleepless nights.
