Oyindamolah: Do you run the business yourself or on the side? I've a 7 to 6 job Monday to Friday and on Saturdays I'm in school. I can't do it all myself but my workers are young girls (between 19 to 21) they require close supervision. I also have a manager who seems to want to have a fling with all the workers. He is too busy forming innocent fine boy. Because of this he is unable to put my business above his personal needs. What I need is a competent and committed manager. |

lilmaydee: If you can hire a manager to oversee the business while he reports to you on daily basis. he will help to mitigate their pilfering, and wasteful habit. I can do that for you, if you don't see changes you can terminate my appointment. let me what you think about my proposal. Where are you |

I need advice on how to manage my workers.
They steal, they lie, they waste resources. They try to manipulate the records, they take advantage of my tiredness after I close from my place of work.
I never knew my staff were going to be my greatest challenge. It's so frustrating.
I really need help from the more experienced business men. |

Dpharisee: I am combining my business with 8-5 job and it has not been easy, my staff have made every effort to frustrate me, that's the greatest problem of business in Nigeria (getting trustworthy personally). I have had to change staff at different times still they are not sincere, they just want to cheat the system even though I don't delay salary by even a day and I can't quit my job now to stay in the shop permanently. I even engaged my brother to run the business it became worse as he won't give proper record, telling me how he sold on credit to customers and he started living large.
If you are not the one running the business directly day to day or don't have a strict line of control as a medium range organisation it's not very advisable to venture into it. This is the exact problem I've been facing in my business. It seems my workers are hell bent on ruining my business. I know one day God will give me a solution. |

In 2004, A landlord who had eight daughters was like "so out of all my daughters you didn't see anyone you liked? You had the boldness to bring another girl into my compound"
He was narrating to us why he expelled one of his tenants. I believe he was also warning us. |

Politics › Re: Military Operation In Oyigbo, Rivers State Leads To Humanitarian Crisis - by Spectrum22: 8:14am On Nov 02, 2020 |
gidgiddy: Obigbo/Oyigbo is just a typical example of the cluelessness of the country called Nigeria. There is nothing that happened in Oyigbo that did not happen across the South of Nigeria during the ENDSARS protest. Almost every state in Nigeria experienced the burning of Police stations, destruction of property and loss of lives on both sides.
So why is it just Wike that is shouting terrorism, proscribing people, imposing long curfew and inviting military? Its all about politics
What happened in Oyigbo was a combination of a 3 way battle between Oyigbo residents, Northerners and the security forces. Add ENDSARS protest to that mix.
But the narrative of the idiot called Wike is that IPOB just got up one morning, with no provocation, started killing people and burning down Police stations and killing Police/Army
Someone is claiming that IPOB killed Police and Army, snatched their weapons. But the same person has not mentioned the name of the security forces killed, no picture of them, no details of how they were killed despite being armed, and no corroborating evidence that IPOB did this
Just a mere statement. What is that? It is terrible because if it is just mere statement is all is needed to criminalise a group or a person, send military to an area, kill people unnecessarily, then the Nigeria we see today and its democracy is nonsense Well written. Some will call what's happening down south, especially south east "ethnic cleansing" |
