It is not a borrowed language. It is a second language. It is the language of instructions in our schools, even in mathematics.

So, stop making excuses!!!

It is understandable when mistakes are made, but when such a small post is riddled with so many errors, it can make one wonder.

Try applying to a school abroad, and you would see that once you fill in Nigeria as your country of residence and origin, the school would expect that you have sufficient proficiency in English.
Thank you bluntboy. No be quarrel.Do you know the type of secondary or primary school she attended? The issue with English largely depends on the kind of teachers one had or has.I am not in any way defending her.Just being open minded.

Not trying to be tribalistic, but the bulk of Yoruba's even the literate ones make alot of grammatical blunders. Who is to be blamed?
English is a borrowed language.

When una go dey go anyhow school nko? That's why they call UI first and the best.
I'm a student of UI and I have friends in Computer Science. From 100 level, they have started teaching them Python and Java and they even know R to some level, unlike the COBOL and PASCAL that is obtainable in many other Universities. Even other departments like Mechanical Engineering and all other departments in our Faculty of Technology have to learn FORTRAN(which is surprisingly a good competition to C. Check Quora). In all, graduating with a perfect 7.0 CGPA is a feat. Those of us that are on first class sef know how hard it is to maintain it. In any case, she is a star girl. Appreciate her
May God bless you the more.

If there were hijab wearing corpers all this would have been overlooked.

Paramilitary wear skirts so why not corpers.

As for the white shorts they should have come to camp with white skoots - skirts with sewd on shorts. Not too long though
Exactly.

Nigerians are fast becoming the dumbest people on the planet. Believing all sort of horseshit they read on social media when most of the things we see are merely meant to make those people trend.
It is true.
