Quick one house, we are tiling our project. For the bathroom, we would like to do bathroom cubicle inside them. Is this the appropriate time to bring in the person that will do the bathroom cubicle? The bathrooms are not so big because hubs being an igbo man refused to make the upstairs only family dwelling. They carved out a mini flat from it cry cry. He is not too keen on these things but he goes along with me if I say I want it. Who is around Iba/Igando, does good formless bathroom cubicle and would be available by saturday?

Depends on if the area is waterlogged. If its not and you are using cheap labour with no contractors, it can get you to lintel stage (I think o). Gurus will chook mouth more

Hello.. please how did you contest your visa refusal? What steps did you take and where did you send it to? Was it a letter you wrote? Please help me out. I was recently refused a visa to attend my sister's graduation ceremony and I would like to contest it. Thank you

Skrskr:
Thanks a lot, chief. Really appreciate your input.

With regards to 1. The salary reduction was because I no longer pay for my accommodation, the company does now.
2. With regards to spending 2 months instead of one. What actually happened was that I planned to spend 1 month for my mom's graduation which was in October. However, my visa was refused due to erratic judgement from the ECO claiming I did not have enough funds. I contested this refusal and by the time they overturned the decision, it was already past the graduation time and the period specified in the visa. So technically, I never lied about spending 1 month then spend 2. That was not the case. But I do understand what you are saying.

3. Thanks. No, I can't lie and don't intend to. Moreover, the form asks for date of entry and period spent in the UK which I correctly input the 2 months (I am yet to pay or submit until I am back in Nigeria).

4. Point fully noted. Can I just say I'm coming for another 2 months then? Please note that I am not planning to come here until April when my current visa would have almost been over.

5. Point fully noted. Thanks, boss

These are Iomoge2's recipes. @spiceeamiee
I'm reposting cuz it's time to start all this again. cheesy cheesy

Kunun aya---
Beans
Plantain
Sweet potatoes
Rice

Kunu aya
Soak aya and dates over night
then add coconut and blend with water n filter.
Now u filter into iceblock for preservation else it will get spoilt as its hitting d ground.

Beans
Wash like u want to prepare moimoi and mak sure everY peel and black eye is removed so baby doesnt purge
Boil your titus fish and liver
Debone the fish and peel d nylon looking stuff off the liver
Use pressure pot to cook the beans, fish n liver after putting a spoon of oil.
Wen well cooked, blend and bring to boil again
Wen cold, serve in small small portions and freeze.
The constitency wont be too thick. Cos at a point my madam was using bottles

Plaintain
Unripe plantain. Bring to boil after adding carrot
Deboned fish, liver n snail
Blend all
Freeze after serving in smaller portions

Sweet potato is same as plantain

Rice
I bought already grounded rice for baby
But mumsy used ofada rice, picked it fir stone n used d dry mill to grind
Brought to boil after washing with carrots and some veggies
Blended all again with boiled fish, liver n snail.
Same cooking then serving then freezin

She has also asked i do meatpie mix and serve her
Not too much just one or two meals

Now in all of this. No spice or salt. Says d fish n liver is enough salt

I really hate to self medicate but the new hospital we are using has refused to give us drugs on the ground of trying a wait and see approach. What can I give a three month old for cough. Sugar and palm oil makes her throw up and she is taking only vitamin c. What can I give her because thos cough is too much.

She maybe intersex. Her testosterone hormones maybe on the male spectrum side. She should see a specialist gyneacologist. Not all these half baked ones. She should also read up on what it means to be intersex.

I think you can. I got from Liftedhands so you can ask her. Like i said, a combination of things is what is working for me. I took Aju Mbaise from week 1 to week 5 by which time my waist was 39. I have stopped taking it and my belly is still going down. What you eat is a major contributory factor. Also google core exercises for post partum mum's. They are gentle exercises involving using your stomach muscles to breathe so as to strengthen them. 10mins of those exercises everyday is enough and with a good grade waist cincher, you would definitely see improvements.

Rbae:

Wow! Thanks so so much for the detailed response mama. I'm grateful. Thank you. How do you go about the steam inhalation? My friend said silverbird is not good for babies, that it affects their lungs but I have at home.

Can I still take Aju mbaise cos my monthly flow is fully back?.

As mama @amorprincessa has said ehnn, carry ya slippers on ya head and run whenever you hear St Rapheals being mentioned abeg. My neighbours child is limping from bad injection they gave him. Stupid people refused to take responsibility and were billing them big money until I helped them write to MDCN before they piped low and treated the boy for free but by then, the damage has already been done and he walks with a slight limp now. We are threatening to sue them so they can pay for a physiotherapist of the boy.

amorprincesa:
1. Sorry no idea! Mistake

2. No idea

3. I haven't met their gynae, just General doctors. One thing I noticed is that its quite old and they do things the old way. They don't have drugs like that, you have to buy from outside most times.

4. hmmmm, those ones that gave me injection whether n.a for my artery sef I don't know. It was given to me on my bum but it affected my thighs and till now I still have the pain and that's 3months ago. @spiceeamiee, comman give her review grin grin while searching for where to register for antenatal, I made enquiries from a nurse there and she said the MD is the gynaecologist. He isn't always available during antenatal. I noticed from her sayings, he travels quite a lot. Maybe he will keep to your appointments if you make one with him.

Apart from these you listed are there others. Where do you live?
Health / Re: NEW BORN BABIES! Are U A New Mum? Then Lets Discuss Babies Here!!!!! by spiceeamiee(f): 10:50am On May 11, 2019
1. My girl has this. A sprinkling of Silverbird on a bib around her neck helps. A.c. and fan on lowest settings. Steam inhalation too.

2. Hope you are measuring the formular according to how it should be? One levelled scoop to 30mls of water, no more no less. My mama was trying to make it more creamy for my baby and was putting 4 full, unlevelled scoops to 90mls water for my baby and she was constipated until she confessed by herself that she may have been making her feed too creamy. That was how constipation stopped. Also, try giving warm water first thing in the morning. He won't like it at first but continue.

3. Sebamead. IMO don't mind that Shea butter and coconut oil stuff. I did that for my first baby, original ori and oil from Ghana. Under two weeks pikin don black like charcoal. By the time I changed to Chicco, it was late. Complexion don set. This time, I was prepared and got all Sebamead baby range. They are small, and don't last as long unless you manage well but my baby is so fair and her complexion is so smooth and clear.

4. What I did: Aju mbaise as soon as I got home. Won't say it made my tummy flat but it did push out all the blood. Lemon in warm water every morning. Flat tummy does not come magically. What do you eat? I'm 8weeks pp tomorrow and what I eat mostly is sweet potatoes, lots of egg, cheese and sausage, lots of fish and chicken, oats swallow, beans, moi moi, bulgur wheat as rice substitute, quinoa, all in controlled portions.. My tea is Lipton or pure cocoa with skimmed milk. I drink 3 litres of water everyday. I have a bottle for that and I finish it and even more sometimes. I eat pastries and ice cream and sweets once in a while. I got a latex waist cincher from zaraxshapewear on IG. Started wearing after 3weeks. Waist was 41 when I started. I'm on the last hook now. Measured yesterday and waist was 35. Would get a smaller one. I wear everyday for 8hours minimum. At 8weeks you should be wearing a cincher/trainer but please check with your doctor.

5.if your incision has healed, you don't need to apply spirit any more. The site will still be raised but it will flatten over time. You can get Shea butter to massage the site and surround areas so as to stop keloids from forming and Also, release surrounding tissues

[quote author=Rbae post=78292551]Good morning mama's, I want to ask the following questions. I wil be glad if I get responses. Thanks.

1. My 8weeks old baby nose is always blocked (from birth). He cries atimes and he is always rubbing the nose. I took him to d hospital, they gave him drugs but the nose is still blocked. I see dried catarrh Inside his nostrils every day. Please, what can I apply to make breathing easier

NL mamas. I have missed you guys, no lie . Dealing with two children under two and it feels like I am not the owner of my body and life cry cry cry. Starting work at 7weeks pp has not even made things easier. No sleep at night, no sleep at work. Hubby and my mum has been the best of support. We recently got a nanny who is a pro and now it feels like I can see road small. Actually had time to do mani and paint my toe nails yesterday and I could not believe my eyes. This motherhood job is work no pay o undecided undecided. Hope you all are doing well. My first relaxed Saturday in a very long while so I said I should pop back in.
