Well, we share my car too, mostly when we have to go out together. Soon, we'll have an account with only me as the signatory (cos he neva has time to go to the bank or even use inernet banking). im already the PA/Financial Secretary, as we call it. lol, we have to keep them thinking its still a man's world. She rules, who stoops to conquer. Ladies, never foget that |

i think the question should be, whats the cooking alternative to onions? i think that should be a combination of ginger and garlic. |

Tip ke? for Naija, no way!!! not pat of our culture o. When we are still busy haggling the actual cost of the service, make we now come tip join! Lailai. we fare better at tipping BEFORE service to encourage better quality of service, not AFTER. and i guess that WERKS for us. |
Nairaland is just full of clowns, lololol. * and he died laffing* |
tho its a keen competition as to who is more insulted of the two, but i still lean more to PHCN. they get cursed everyday by virtually everybody, whereas not everyone is harrassed by the Police cos not everyone has cars. Remember PHCN gets cursed: a. in the middle of the football match, just when Messi is about to give a kicker close to the net, or the World-Cup final match (Nigeria vs Brazil) at the 125th minute, just when the referee has awarded 5 penalties to both sides b. in the middle of the movie, just when the bad guy is about to kill the good guy( or vice versa), c. just as you turn on the iron on Sunday night to press your office clothes for the week d. at 10pm in the night when you are out of fuel for the generator and you have an indisposed child in your care. e. when you have just fully stocked up you fridge/freezer with food items for the month and your I-PASS-MY-NEIGHBOUR generator cant step up to the task of keeping them frozen. f. you just popped that frozen turkey in the microwave to thaw g. you just ran out of gas and decided to continue cooking the already parboiled rice on the electric stove. h. when you have guests in the house at night just about to delve into that lovely dinner you just cooked i. during the hottest of nights in the heat of passion, j. the same day you forgot to buy candles or matches or kerosene for the stove while at the market. i could go on and on, i dont think of th Police as much as i think of NEPA. in the office, on the way home, at home, when i wake up, and then , i thank Gd for the INVERTER, that has come to save the day. |
there was a notification on the Glo websitelast week , saying they had a fire incident on Thursday night at one of their main transmission offices. thats what caused the hiccup. its back now tho |
Oluwaseun Osewa, (batting fake eyelashes), will you be my Val? |

Yes of course, gifts are gists, regardless of the giver, provided they are given during occasions. Ahem, i hope its not a car or a house we are talking about though. Thats a definite NO-NO! |
the engagement was done the Bayelsan way (i think thats where she's from) she wore her native attire, bu the grrom wore "agbada", his own native attire. |
At least we all now know the truth. Like they say "time is the true test of all things". |
Traditional Wedding was on the same dayin the morning - Yetunde's Place, Parkview Estate, Ikoyi (strictly by invitation) had b/fast there - options included yam, bread, plaintain with bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs , fish stew, etc. with tea/cofffee. they had a woman representing Lou's side as the "alaga iduro" and a man representing Dakore's side. unfortunately, i didnt take any pictures, fone battery died (felt like cussing my fone out). was busing posing and shunning photographers (now, i regret it) or else, my pic woulda been somewhere in there. At the wedding, i saw ElDee there and Wild Child was the MC. |
