I think officers should wear their uniform and the CG should lead by example

A source within the Presidency said that the position of the Presidency on the disagreement is that; no law compels Colonel Hameed Ali to wear a uniform.
This position was based on legal advice made available to the President by the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN).

Since no law compels CG of wearing his uniform, shall we then say that wearing of uniform among custom officers is a matter of choice and not an obligation?

If Ali wouldn't wear his statutory uniform, then other custom officers have no business wearing it!
