my view is that even if its not scrapped totally, the bride price should be just a token for symbolism sake. in my family the bride price is ridiculously low. i mean low enough that it fits into the family album. so that when the man f**ks up the girl's family can whip out the naira bill and slap him in the face with it and take their daughter back! Lol.

sugabee sorry to break it to you. seems like u've been had. sometimes when a guy is in a tough spot he befriends women just so he can get money, a roof over his head or maybe just plain old cheap sex. then he moves on to the next thing. not all nigerian guys are like that. he was just a jerk. you'll find someone who truly cares for you in the fullness of time. just be more careful. i often tell my american friends to be careful of immigrants. they often(not always) have different agendas!!!!!!!

its just hair ke? maybe for men since they are bald most of the time but for most women, they probably have never been bald aside from when they first came into this world! and they dont even let you go to the barber. they shave you themselves slowly and publiclywith a blunt razor! as if you killed him. a woman's hair is her covering. i believe it shd never be messed with.

and yeah guys shave their heads sometimes but those that dont want to are not tackled to the floor, held in a choke hold and shaved bald.they are left alone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

as children we were told to eat our pieces of meat last. children that ate their pieces of meat first were supposed to grow up to steal. i guess the meat is the climax of the whole show. you have to suffer first before you can enjoy.
now im grown and i do what i please so i eat my meat first, in between and last. its awesome!

dont forget that women have built houses in secret. i know a lady that built a house from scratch and her husband has no clue she's a landlady. because she says heaven will fall. .

the truth is that not everyone has sparkling white eyes. same with teeth. if the optician cant find anything wrong with you, then you are fine. i know everyone wants white eyes but sometimes we just cant do anything.
are you getting enough sleep? do you work long hours staring into computers, do you work in a buka with smoke? (im just kidding!) just rest your eyes as much as you can and dont let your eye color depress you ok?

n.b ive never heard of eye whitening either
