Megabyts: Whattsapp is a real time online application that uses uor data either u are using it or not,it uses data as long as u have credit and uor fone is on,hence, some see it as expensive and so prefer bbm
that's the only disadvantage of whattsapp
.....don't know why it must always use data

kevoh: Wait oh shocked ! Is it the 1.5Gb data or so they give us for BIS and stylishly call it unlimited that they still want to reduce the soped? #smh
.....exactly
PhonesRe: MTN Nigeria Throttle Blackberry Usage Speeds For Subscribers. by spothot: 11:08am On Dec 02, 2012
This is utter rubbish. Mtn bb packages always come with data limit even though they claim to be unlimited packages; so why the unnecessary throttling?

PoliticsRe: Islamist Sect In Kano, Threatens To Bomb Cool FM by spothot:
miztapheek: Its getting more and more interesting when u see the way nairalanders display their dumbness in relation to issues.yuh say islam is not a religion of peace, was there any protest n saudi arabia?even iraq as volatile as it was had a quiet demonstration, its only northerners that will scream as if yuh are squeezing their balls.before u abuse muslims please kindly note that their are muslims is the south west and other regions of the country too....did they scream blue murder or kill anybody?did they protest?this thing is majorly a northern thing, its not all muslims that act like animals,so please people should learn to look @ things both sided before they open their mouth to comment on threads. Its only God that can judge, and its only Him that knows who is faithful or not....nuff said!
My brother, the issue is that the way they accepted islam is quite different from what those in the south practise, partly i think, because of their level of education and probably culture.
Also, note that all the three major religions: CHRISTIANITY, ISLAM & JUDAISM had/have extremists among them but of all these three, it is ONLY ISLAM that has not historically undergone REFORM to suit the modern age. For example, in judaism, a woman caught in adultery is to be stoned to death according to the mosaic law but this is no more adhered to by the jews in modern israel because of this historical reform.
Note that according to the islamic sharia law, the same punishment will be meted out to such individual and it is still followed in this modern age as evident in Somalia(Al shabab islamist group) and Saudi Arabia(...still practises sharia law)
So, the issue here is not to dehumanise these people but for educated islamic scholars to demand for reforms in their religion as was historically done in the other two religions.

Emphasis wasn't on spiritual but the individual. The saying "it runs in the family" is a fallacy and it can only be used to justify evil.
i think it matters, at least from what i've seen. Some go into their marriages with the intent of not repeating such but inexplicably find themselves in it

snowbuster: each time i read about this man i always ask my self if this how other big church operate too .cos the last time i drove by the church seeing bouncer at the gate with AK 47 .i was thinking that is where the president lives or that is the world bank ... cos i see no reason why a church everybody know is a house of god where we goose for worship. now become a place where you will be asked alot of damn question before you go inside ... ONLY GOD KNOWS THE PERFECT ONCE
.....in this era of boko haram? Besides, the crowd there is just too much, so there is need for security and there are no bouncers there. However, i must confess, their ushers are really rude, maybe because of their workload.
BusinessRe: Conversation With Sanusi On "New" Currency Policy by spothot: 11:25am On Aug 27, 2012
Wizeboy: In as much as I agree with his decision to introduce the new N5000 note, where my worry lies is the introduction of N20 coin. Though COIN is been used in more advanced countries of the world as a means of transaction but I doubt if that will work in Nigeria.

I remember when 50kobo and N1 was converted to coin, the price of sweet, biscuits and some other items quickly rise to N5 and had been like that since then. I strongly believe if N20 notes is finally converted to coin, hardly will the value worth what it is today (the price of Pure Water, Biscuit, Sweet and some other things will change drastically) because of Nigerians mentality.

He should therefore, let N5, N10 and N20 remain paper note, in order not to cause hardship for Nigerians.
i quite agree with your thoughts on this particulary Nigeria's aversion to coins but since he said the coins will be introduced side by side with the notes until they gain acceptability, then, i think it's a good policy moreso since that is what is obtainable in advanced countries
PoliticsRe: Picture Of Nigeria Divided: Is This The Future? by spothot: 11:01am On Aug 18, 2012
duni04: See dreamers. Can't believe people are still talking division in the 21st century. It'll never happen, not now or in a million years to come. We should focus on settling our differences and leveraging on our collective strength and resources. If we start dividing ourselves now, where will it stop? What if the Ijebu's want to form their own country separate from the Yoruba or the Oyos feel the Egba people aren't Yoruba enough. What if the Ijaws want their own country separate from the Niger Delta. What if the Bayelsa Ijaws want a separate country from the Delta Ijaws. Are we going to continue splitting and dividing till each person is left to his father's compound? Where will the division stophuh Yes every group or ethnic nationality has a right to self determination but we owe it to ourselves to try to make this country work. Will splitting Nigeria eliminate corruption? Will everyone in 'Oduduwa republic' suddenly become a saint and stop stealing?
We're stronger together; a large market, large pool of labor; great political clout on the continent. Why throw everything away for a romantic idea that won't solve any problem but will just reduce our strength in numbers? Just because we can't sit down and work it out, or because we've all been too weak to demand accountability and prudence from our government.
Let's just come together and sort our problems out. No matter how romantic this secessionist idea is, its not going to take away any of our current problems. We're all black for christ sake. Let's sit down and work it out!!!
.....on point.
