Most Nigerians are very stupid seriously

You know how dangerous it is to protest in Nigeria, yet you embark on such dangerous mission that you already know the outcome, later ,those who devicieved you will be online calling UN, USA,UK, HTC,GSM..LOLZ while chilling in their comfort zone leaving you helpless under police brutality......

How many of these protests have yielded positive result in the past? Use your head before them go use am 4u.

Whenever prominent Nigerians come out for protest, just know that it is for sincere course and you can join, example is protest against subsidy removal in January 2012.

Point of correction, "Rally" not "Protest"

Nonsense

So why did Sunday Igboho cowardly turned into a cat and disappeared at the sight of the military and DSS?

At least he has a meta-physical power to turn to the cat, unlike Lamidi Konu. You guys just like division and playing into your puppet master instead to come together as one. As a Yoruba man, I support Kanu all the way and I feel bad about all the injustices against the South East.

Only invest monies you can afford to lose, even in gambling, use such amount you can comfortably let go.

I was block by nairaland boot, banned expires 3pm tomorrow, I just opened this account now to respond

I don't do best of..... Because the competition is just way high every eye are on amazon rather I write long informative post that are not found on any blog I.e no blog has it as topics.

Most times am just the one talking about that stuff and boom Google being me to top. Although search results are low on this term or quarries

You can use a tool to know which area you can easily break-in and some keywords you can write about. I use tools to do keyword research and I have AI that does content intelligence. Even AI helps with article writing. For example, instead of writing "Best Baby Diapers" you can do "Best Baby Diapers for Newborn" , "Best Babby Diapers for Warm Weather" You can dominate in those longtail keywords.

Of course Blogging is not dead, most of us want to become the next Linda Ikeji by just copying and pasting other peoples content.

There is no way on earth you will make money like that.

If you are serious about blogging, you should know the following

1. You need to understand SEO
2. You must do keyword research to know if the content you are writing is being searched by people
3. You must be creative
4. Do not do copy and paste
5. If you won't be original or you won't get access to breaking news do not do gossip and entertainment blogs , some top blogs have already dominated that niche and they pay people to source for content, it will be hard to beat them
6. You need to be consistent
7. You need access to the right tools
8. You need to look for other ways to monetize your blog
9. You need a good hosting
10. Be ready to do marketing, infact spend 80 percent of your time marketing and 20 percent of your time creating content
11. You need a mentor

If you would like me to mentor you, kindly join my Freelancer and online business group here.

https://www.lekeadelaja.com/group

Please this is not going to be free. I have come to understand that free trainings are never effective. It won't be expensive either. I will ensure everyone can afford it. Also
What kind of tools do you use? I am willing to know if any Nairalander is using tools like SEMRUSH as most of the best SEO tools are expensive.

Adsense is the key and should not be kicked aside, there are others that pays higher like ezoic, adtrive,Medianet etc . Most guest post ask for do follow links which I find not really my thing. Although some might like it.

There are other ways to earn like affiliate which I intend diving in soon... What do you think about vpn niche where each affiliate commission comes monthly as long as your referer keeps subscribing

I just deposited my own affiliate check this morning. The VPN niche for the US market is saturated and difficult to break into.
If you want to localize it to Nigeria, maybe you can make money from it.

I am 100% affiliate marketing. Build a niche-based, like Best of ...... and Product Comparison and Product Review. Targeting the US market, you can do $4000 to $8000 a month. Currently monetizing with info products and physical products. No Adsense yet.

Wordpress is really powerful I don't get the hate. I earn very well as a WordPress developer.

I am not looking back. I learn Laravel a bit but the job is limited. I have been doing WordPress for over 10 years now. Keep up the good work.

Honestly that depends on your job hunting skills, the portfolios you have et al. I got my first WordPress role the week I started learning PHP but I am a ferocious job hunter.

Don't tell anyone the secret about WordPress. My team average over 100M a year just on WordPress alone.
We always go for popular tech e.g AWS, WordPress. Who React help? I only use it for our own SASS.

Also, I plan to recruit an army of Front developers for only Html, CSS & Javascript. We will port the design into WordPress ourselves. Will provide the PSD templates.

Igboho should be very careful so that he won't offend those that will stand for him when trouble come. Not because you are fighting to defend Yoruba people then you will now start to insult your traditional people.

Shut it. Ife people do not like him. He fought against them during Modakeke War.
