Anyway, it is the state government that is destroying shanties occupied by mostly northerners. Those people don't build real houses. Why? |

He's safer with Obi... at least his reelection is guaranteed if he's pitched against Obi Tinubu will lose to anyone at all. He chose Atiku because losing to Obi will be a bigger disgrace. |

The best solution is diplomacy. We cannot lose soldiers fighting in Niger and about Niger when there's gross insecurity everywhere in the country. We also do not want to be engulfed in any regional war between several countries. Let there be discussions and let the coupists agree to return to democracy at a specified time. |

BlueRayDick: lol. U are expecting subsidy after subsidy removal.
See ehn, irrespective of whatever name we choose to call it, Nigerians can't actually do without some form of subsidy in one way or the other. The truth is by our peculiar nature of trying to game the system, some selected few will always try to enrich themselves through whatever means is available. Even the sedlings being shared in 774 LGA's by the FG, people will still find a way to make money at the expense of others. Some people can get seedlings in LGA's like Agege, Ikorodu and Alimosho only to go sell it to farmers in obafemi Owode in Ogun State. They still gamed the system.
My position has always been let FG go after oil subsidy thieves, clamp down on them and put in measures to frustrate them. Have the theft reduced drastically and let the people enjoy the subsidy like we have always done. The government just throwing the baby and the bathe away has not done anybody good thus far.
Anybody doing normal work in naija and has since seen significant increase in his disposable income in the last 2 months should come out and lay mantle on me o. The problem of subsidy is the problem of corruption. One thing I know is that if the head no chop, no body go get mind chop. If you are the HOD and the company sends provisions for general use. You hand over the provisions to a staff to coordinate the sharing without asking for any favours or refusing to accept any favours. That staff will share the provisions accordingly. If they don't it's easy to punish the thief. Interestingly in all TInubu's addresses to the nation, he has never said anything about fighting corruption. |

Tinubu ati Nigeria e ronu oh. Niger matter is not our primary problem rn Don't be surprised to discover that the instability in West Africa is instigated by US and co so that they can sell weapons and also mine resources for little. The trend is too obvious. They support a crook into power, then the army/people revolts to due suffering and corruption. Then they ask regional powers to intervene 'to save democracy'. Then at the end the coupist resigns from military and contests for president. Wins and another round of corruption and suffering begins. Look at Sudan and South Sudan, look at Eritrea, etc. Same cycle. |

Depriest2020:
I went to a boutique yesterday to get some clothes for my woman, while checking out some designs, a young beautiful girl of about 16-17yrs old walked in, she told the sales lady she needed a beautiful dress for her school prom (graduation party). I directed her to one i initially saw and loved, but the size was small for my woman, she said to me that it's fine but that she is a Muslim and can't wear short gown, that it's christians that wears short.
I was dumbfounded, I stood in awe, got lost in thoughts for some seconds, about the little girl's words, when I came out from the cloth shop, I looked around to see truly what Christian girls wear, saw many with wringled thighs wearing knicker, short tight, crop tops in the market. I asked myself if it's Christianity that taught us to wear things like that or just choice. Christianity does not allow indiscreet and indecent dressing. However Christianity makes it a matter of choice and conviction. Whereas Islam leaves you with none of the two. I'll rather people do things because they are convinced than that they are forced. That's why hypocrisy is the biggest problem with Islam. They cry out loud when Davido likes a song done in the mosque but turn a blind eye when a breadwinner of a family is stoned to death out of a mere unverified speculation of blasphemy. |

But military dictatorships must be avoided at all costs and I hope Tinubu leads Nigeria right in this. Tinubu has a legitimacy issue hanging on his neck. Sending troops will definitely damage his reputation. I think a diplomatic solution is better, coupled with what you stated in the bolded. |

If we don't act fast, more will happen. Do you wanna see more nations fall to coupists in West Africa? I think the best approach is a diplomatic one. We must consider what led to the coup. Notice that all the people of Niger are happy with the coup? They have their sovereignty too you know. At the end I think they former president will not be restored. No to bad leadership in Africa. |

While he is a good and confident goalie, he makes some ill advised decisions. Some of his mistakes cost us valuable points last season. If I can then prove that whatever he is trying to claim was copied" was done by Pep long before that assistant or student ever worked with him, your fellow may have to concede that perhaps Pep did not learn it from the assistant or student? Almost all the LP people will lose their mandate, even Alex otti, because I remember him contesting the APC gubernatorial ticket.
Omo….otilo Lol. The issue of party membership is an internal affair of the party. Neither the constitution nor the EA decides who is a member of a political party. That aside, the part where the EA requests for a list of party membership does not rule out acceptance of new members. The most important thing is that whoever emerges must emerge through a primary and the names submitted to INEC. The case of the Delta LP candidate that was sacked was a case of him not resigning his public office before contesting. Personally I am against such rascality if it is proven. As for Peter Obi that is giving you guys headache, the federal high court has already determined that case. |
