wman: 1. Peter Okoye said Seun Kuti has erased his father's legacy.
That is a very foolish thing to say. Fela's legacy is too great to be erased by the random utterance of his son.
2. Peter Okoye referred to the shrine as a "local shrine"
Another stupid disparaging talk. That's all? So he didn't call his father a fool after all? For me that's quite civil. Honestly. I have said worse. |

Watch this video and show where Seun Kuti attacked PSquare like you claimed 1. Seun said no one can save Nigeria and referred to Peter Obi as an opportunist. 2. Peter Okoye said if no one can rescue Nigeria does that include his father Fela, since his father fought for the good of the country. Shame x3 3. Seun now said he is not like Peter Okoye who fools around with politicians 4. Peter Okoye then said Seun is a no body without his surname Which lie dey here again? These are two men fighting Na una wey misinterpreted the whole thing to make it sound like Peter Okoye attacked Fela. Probably to cover the shame of Seun not being a up to PS levels. No one will attack Fela knowing what he has achieved. But this shouldn't be a cloak to wrap his kids when they misbehave. |

nihilistjnr: The statement that Seun Kuti made that started his beef with PSquare was that none of the 3 main contestants could save Nigeria.
Not sure how this correlates with your narrative but we already know how you're coming. Seun said no politician can save Nigeria not just the three and that he supports Sowore. But what caused the quarrel was when he said PO was an opportunist and that PS are fooling around with him. Na Seun first find trouble. I don't care about the issue though, means little to me. |

CBN should not carry out this policy merely to prevent rigging, it's not their job. APC should stop being threatened by the policy as if they have skeletons in their cupboards. Almost everyone have deposited their old notes. It shouldn't be that difficult. Anyone still having millions of naira in old notes is a criminal, and should not use the agencies to keep the rest of the country in pain. |

monerozi5590: He just answered you why d policy didn't work.
For now, we should be allowed to use both old and new till the old notes gradually fade out.
Our working governor said we should continue to use the old notes. . Nobody listens to CBN governor again.
Free and fair election is not CBN responsibility. There should stick to their responsibility but then again a politician is our CBN governor. SMH. The bolded is absolutely true. The politicising of the policy has made it look like a personal beef. Also, what's APC problem about a CBN policy and why are they being threatened unlike other parties? They two are politicising the policy and taking it as a personal attack. As at 28th Jan before the extension of the deadline CBN claimed to have mopped up over 75% of the old notes. Meaning that if the Jan 31st deadline was kept according to plan, over 90% would have entered CBN. Meaning that the meeting between the president and APC governors that led to this extension was political and has led to the present suffering. Now, those three governors that went to Supreme Court, are they doing it for themselves and their party or for Nigerians. This is because most of the old notes are already with CBN and they will not release them. Also, CBN will not release new notes unless they can exchange them with the current old notes in circulation. This implies that any further extension is merely extending the sufferings of Nigerians. Even if they want to cancel the entire exercise as Amoto suggested, it would mean a total waste of resources, lives that were lost, and going back to the same socioeconomic problems that informed the policy in the first place. In summary, if the policy was meant to prevent vote buying, then APC saw the CBN action as a direct attack on them (God knows why) and are using every machinery to thwart it. |

Amoto94: Common sense is for those responsible should come out apologise then allow the use of the old alongside the new notes, sensitize the general public especially in remote places via local languages and distribution channels, and collaborate with commercial banks to help solve the talent and infrastructure crises presently rocking the sector. Then we can implement the policy fully for now we should adopt partial implementation to avoid breakdown of law and order. Why then hasn't it worked because so far as it stands now, we are still using the old notes. |

Before you implement this sort of policy there should be inter-agencies collaboration to ensure sensitization, readiness, distribution and effective monitoring, compliance, and prevent panic from spreading. A001: The Big Bang doesn't explain the source of the Universe; it's only a model that explains the beginning of the Universe.
But the Universe might not even have a beginning, and the beginning of something might not necessarily be its source.
About believing in God or not, you don't have to project your beliefs on mine. I only believe in what's proven scientifically and has real benefits.
Religious people are some of the most wicked people you'll find anywhere in the world, especially those in Nigeria.
There are few kind religious people, but the wicked ones are more in number.
So far, I can't see the effects or benefits of believing in a god in the lives of religious people.
Recently, a severe earthquake hit Turkey and Syria, two of the most religious countries globally, killing roughly 5000 people.
Today, I'm sure people in various parts of the world would have died.
Daily, religious people face a series of challenges about health, feeding, shelter, and so on, problems that belief or disbelief in a god or prayers can't solve.
To prevent and address these problems, only critical thinking, philosophy, and science and technology can help, not any god.
The gods of religion are useless.
No cogent benefits in believing in a god. If there are, some of us that have left religion for years now will revert immediately.
It's only oxygen, food, shelter you can't live without, not a god.
You left something one, two, three, four years, and are living better. Why would you want to go back to ignorance and superstition? I agree that religion can make people wicked and vile. But that shouldn't be the purpose of religion as that should not define God. By the way, the earthquake also killed those who are agnostic too. So it doesn't validate your point. |

Hence a land slide victory for APC. Na now una begin talk true? The truth is that all prediction polls have placed PO as the favourite. It remains so until the final election results are called. |

A001: It's not enough for me. When scientists discover and understand the origin of the universe, I may stop being an agnostic.
Then, I don't see any special benefits or privileges of believing in God's existence. Everything religious people enjoy, freethinkers also enjoy them.
Then, I'm not an African traditionalist. However, I respect African traditions (the good ones) and see a lot of wisdom in them.
This is why I promote them. At first bolded - there's the theory of the big bang, At second bolded, it's not a point since you already don't believe in the existence of God. You have to first believe before you can say you derive or don't derive any benefits. I can deduce from that comment, logically that you believe in the existence of God but consciously deny it. |

Amoto94: The implementation of the policy. Below is my submission when I was asked to analyze the political and economic effects of the policy somewhere [1/30, 21:35] : Increase in Transaction failure/scam As we towards the full adoption of cashless policy the financial institutions lack the necessary infrastructures to support the volume of transactions they will be handling, this will lead to high failure rate and poor quality of service. Also, scammers will be on the prowl knowing that large volume of transactions will be carried out via electronic channels, so they will be having a field day. [1/30, 21:35] Political revolt With the haphazard implementation of the policy and the attending hardship that follows suit due to shortage of cash and network failure, the ruling party should expect a backlash in the forthcoming polls. I guess this was the reason why the APC candidate lambasted Emefiele and PDP in Ogun and Benue s during his rally in the aforementioned states. Ok the policy is good but the problem is implementation. First what do you understand to be the purpose of the policy, then suggest a way forward for implementation based on your submissions (poor infrastructure and shortage of cash) taking cognisance of the purpose of the policy. |

A001: No, it means whether God exists or not is unknown. If the theists can provide evidence their God is the source of all things in existence, I'd stop being an agnostic.
Verses in the Bible or Qur'an or similar religious are not evidence but mere claims anyone can make and put in form of writing. Without the Bible the only other source is the intelligence of creation. Intelligent design. All peoples of the earth acknowledged creation because of its unique intelligent design, so they have a name or attribute to describe God. As an African traditionalist, isn't that enough to accept the existence of God? |
