monerozi5590: Ok. I mentioned Buhari because I want you to see how things were before Buhari came in.
He really tried in the Agricultural Sector. He came up with grow what you eat and eat what you grow. Fertiliser plants have really sprang up so also rice mills. I think before now we are the largest importer of rice from Thailand (1st position) but now we are down down below or not even in the rating anymore. You know Agriculture is also a means of foreign exchange.
Infrastructure too. He did well here too.
Social Investment Programme. He did very well here too especially when Osinbajo was the handling it.
These are the few I can remember for now. How much have you been buying rice before and now? Who are the beneficiaries? Buhari offered nothing. Even the bridges and rail lines were borrowed money, something any fool can do. |

Olowunl01: Thanks Larride for putting the blame squarely on whom it lies - Buhari.
People should stop trying to whitewash nonsense; Buhari DSS was hounding Buhari CBN governor in the midst of implementing people impacting policy, he did nothing.
This is Buhari F up, simple nobody should try to exonerate him, haba even prior to Tinubu statement, we knew mplementation has become problematic; all it required was him saying am suspending this eod.
It is this silly attitude of ours that make these politicians get away with murder, how can the country get better when we keep making silly excuses and keep failing to hold them to account.
I can't believe someone is still up here shouting Sai Baba with his full chest, after almost 8years of mess, SMH. Still waiting to hear Buhari leadership qualities.. It's a personal agenda for Buhari against Tinubu but we (the other Nigerians) are taking the positives. Those bullion vans must be wasted. No Ghana must go politics in 2023. Jodera: Yeah... I also believe the Zinchenko roaming to all area of Midfield is something they worked on expertly during the WC break cos it became very very frequent post world cup. Also White not making that overlapping runs ia also noticeable post world cup so I feel it's tactical plans to compensate for Zinchenko drifts into midfield as Gabriel will cover up for Zinny while Ben will become conservative so that we won't be too open to counter (something like 3 at the back).
I would also prefer Tomi to come in for White. White have been off form and even Arteta is noticing it with the last 2 matches he's been subbed. He'll also bring that attacking width naturally that White doesn't frequently do.
Let's just see what Arteta will come up with sha There ought to be some form of balance especially if we are chasing the game. Either we play with a back two or Partey drops into defense when the RB overlaps. The basic point is to not allow Saka to be double marked. |

A001: Learn what? The human-like traits of your god are clear for all to see in the Bible; hence he's a human-god. Indeed God in the person of Jesus was a human-god in the greatest revealation of God to man, in human form. 1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.Fully man and also fully God. Why did God become man? To reach out to us in the greatest expression of love. He became us. |

Jodera: Zinchenko drifting infield and Xhaka not making that overlapping runs to help Martinelli might be making Martinelli's case harder.
He's still not daring enough in his dribbles unlike Pre-Wc but he's mostly lacking support too. Even White recently hardly makes overlapping runs unlike Pre-Wc
I just hope Arteta comes up with something to help out on our wings Yes and exactly. Teams are beginning to see us as leading contenders especially following our win over both Spurs and United, and now that Man City has lost to both teams. Most of the teams we will face would gladly play for a draw and so they will want to sit back and defend or to stifle our attack. But let me just trust Arteta's tactical mind. Like you said, Xhaka should be willing to do the overlap on the LW. That's how we got our equaliser against Man United. At this point, Tomi should be preferred at RFB. What do you think? |

The law only said candidates cannot contest for more than one elective position. Lawan was only an aspirant at the time and not a candidate. I think they deliberately sidelined Machina. Machina refused to participate in the second primary saying he won the first primary fair and square and that the NWC had no reason to cancel it. That I believe should have been the basis of his trail. No. INEC said they did not monitor the second primary. That was why INEC refused to change Machine's name. |

One of the lessons to learn is that teams will be aiming to stop us especially from the wings as they know it's where our strength lies.
Arteta and the lads should come up with a plan be in case that happens. I have noticed recently how two players are asked to mark Saka whenever he gets the boy because they know he will always succeed one on one. |

BlueRayDick: So I've not been able to get fulls details of the Lawan-Machina case , but I got the excerpt above from Punch Newspaper's reporting of the judgement and Machina's camp reaction.
As I guessed the Supreme Court in its usual manner has used technicality deny a man who won an election(primary election in this case) what rightfully belongs to him.
Machina obtained senatorial nomination form, contested in the primary election and won. Then his party APC at the die minute submitted the name of Lawan as their candidate for the Senatorial election despite Lawan not participating in the primary election.
Machina then goes to court and claimed that APC fraudulently substituted his name for Lawan's despite the latter not participating in the primary elections. Do you know what the supreme court did?
The Supreme court in it's lead judgement knocked off Machina's case on the premise that if Machina claims his name was fraudulently substituted, then he should've called witnesses to prove the allegation of fraud instead of only filling originating summons. ( For educational purposes, this is what originating summons means: Originating Summons is one of the ways of commencing action in courts. An action commenced in this manner presupposes that the facts are not in dispute, and what is being asked for is interpretation of a document or law.)
Summary of all this is that the case was knocked off on technicality basis. The danger of this kind of precedents is that u can get away with anything in Nigeria provided ur lawyer can persuade the Supreme court to knock off a case against u on technicality basis.
This is the usual way of subversion of justice in the courts. A murderer walks away freely even when the judge knows he commited the crime. I hope Yobe people will see Lawan for what he represents and vote him out. Power belongs to the people. Machina should decamp. |

Nepotism will always make u lower the bar for that family member and this will always affect the morale of others who aren't related to u but work with u. (Especiay if it's not a family business u are running) Yes. There's a reason why many companies don't allow two people from the same family. Some demand that one person must resign if two colleagues marry each other. The point is conflict of interest. 👍🏽 |

Jodera: I think Partey was removed for precaution so as not to exacerbate it since he was really struggling and since Arteta likes Jorginho (coupled with experience), he decided to give Partey a breather.
I think he'll be very very fit and available against Brentford It may also be that Arteta wanted to create a competition between the two, to get the best out of Partey. Same as Martinelli. Same as White. It can only get better. |

Jodera: I remember when we played against Leicester (in Feb 2016). They were topping the league with 5 points with us being 2nd. We won the game 2-1 and cut it down to 2 points but the loss didn't deter them. The still went on a winning spree and eventually they won the league while our 2 points difference turned to 10points.
When we lost against Everton unfortunately, most of our prayers here was that Tottenham should beat Man city (even though we all had the faintest of hope that it might happen). Now that it has happened, instead of us to be happy that our 5points is still intact (instead of a possible 2points), instead we start wailing about the "8 points" we initially didn't have and never had.
I mean, It would have even being understood If we played after the Man city loss and not before it.
C'mon guys!!.
Let's believe in this boys and the team! You just nailed it. 👍🏽 It's only Arsenal that has won the league without losing a game. Losing to Everton does not mean it's over. It means we have to restrategise and avoid complacency. This team and their manager are the best in the league. They will work on whatever happened on Saturday and go on another winning run |

Roland17: Coming into this season, my goal for this team was to make the top 4. However, we can not pretend like we are not positioned for the title race. Considering the dynamics of other teams, this season presents the best opportunity for us to win a title in 20 years. With the financial pull and depth of City/ Chelsea, United and Liverpool, we may end up fighting for top 4 in the coming seasons if we don't take advantage of the situation we find ourselves. In my personal life, when I set a goal, I am flexible enough to adapt and take advantage of a higher goal that presents itself while pursuing the original goal.
When Leicester City won the league in 2015/2016, they did not go into that season with the goal of winning the league. I don't think they thought top 4 was even possible. However, as the season progressed, results starting falling in their favor and they soon realized that they were in the title race. They buckled down and won the league because they know that opportunity may never avail itself again. Last season, we were positioned to make the top 4, despite the goal being top 6. We had numerous opportunities on a platter to finish 4th but we blew every one of them and to me that was quite disappointing. We were content with finishing outside the top 4, afterall, top 6 was the goal.
Here we are again, with an opportunity to win the league but some of us are just too comfortable with the barest minimum because the goal is top 4! It has been 20 years since we won the league and some of you are fine with making top 4? Because in your heart, we will beat City/ Chelsea/ United in the future to the league? Chelsea are a good coach away from being dominant again, City will always be favorites, United have the pocket and a coach who looks like he is getting it together and while Liverpool have strayed, they can always get it back together. We should tell ourselves the truth. If we don't go for it now, we may just become perennial top 4 contenders again.
While I am not of the extreme view that he should be fired if we fail to win the league, I think questions need to be asked because it is becoming a pattern. THIS MIGHT BE OUR BEST CHANCE IN YEARS TO COME, TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT!
#COYG Are we not taking advantage of the situation? Is it because we lost on Saturday? Or is it because we no longer trust Arteta? Which one? |

The population of the country is growing astronomically, oil price is not rising, revenue is stagnant but subsidy remains.
You don't have to be a prophet to know. The signs are clear. It's more of a case of mismanagement of resources than oversubsidy. Oil barrels are missing daily in millions, NNPC cannot give account of their revenue, political leaders living lavished lives while being comfortable with 30k min wage. There's bound to be some reactions. The poverty level is already high, the government has to alleviate poverty first before we begin to discuss whether Nigerians are over subsidised. |

this is my prediction on states Peter Obi will win and states he will get required 25% which by law is needed in 24 states before one can be declare president
Peter Obi will win in these states
1,Rivers 81% 2,Akwa Ibom 75% 3,Cross River 79% 4,Delta 70% 5,Edo 85% 6, Bayelsa 73% 7, Anambra 95% 8,Enugu 95% 9, Imo 95% 10, Abia 95 11, Ebonyi 94% 12, Lagos 45% 13 Abuja 65% 14 Benue 67% 15,Plateau 62% 16, Ondo 45% against APC and PDP
*Remaining state he will get 25% and above 17, Nassarawa he might win or get more than required votes here 18, Taraba Obi will get more than required votes in Taraba state 19, Kaduna 25% 20, Bauchi 25% 21, Oyo 25% 22, Adamawa 25%
These are states I can predict, states to watch are Kogi, Gombe, Ogun, NIger, Kano, Obi need to push more aggressive underground work in these states before election. Nlpfmod Ekiti will deliver more votes for PO than Ondo. |
