Did you compare the number of people who voted to the total number of registered voters? There was total lack of interest. Those who voted were party members. And this was because there were no credible candidates. They were fed up with GEJ and yet, Buhari was no choice. So they chose to sit at home. This time, the political awareness is unprecedented. People now want their votes to count.

I can honestly tell you, I know many APC and PDP party members here is the SE who have decided to vote for PO.

Some politicians here even mix their party with that of PO. That's why they say his support is organic.

kindly recall that there was a lot of voter apathy during the previous two elections in the SS and SE. Those who voted are only party members. This was the reason when the SC gave the Imo State governorship to Uzodimma, no body protested. People were just not interested. To them, "na dem dem".

For an example, none of my family members voted, and i mean extended family. For me and my wife, we just got our PVCs. None of us are part of the so called structure, and we are all going to vote this time around.

If the same thing is happening else where, like for example Lagos had over 6million registered voters in the last election, but less than 2million actually participated, that leaves over 4million (5million if you take the current statistics) not part of the structure.

What you guys aren't getting and would be shocked to discover is that structure has now been broken in Nigerian politics. February 25 is no longer far.

1... The distance covered by Ramsey wasn't much (just a step). And this has always been my point.
2... Sanchez made a follow through immediately he played that ball to that zone. Not that he capitalised on Ramsey's presence/action there. Bruno clearly capitalised on Rashford interference

Even Ederson was expecting Rashford to take a shot and have already readied himself before Bruno (from the opposite side) took it.

There was no attempt by Rashford to play the ball. The only thing he did was to run towards it.

Interference is affecting the opponent and not the ball. One cannot be penalise for interfering with the ball.

Mind you, offside is not penalised until the player touches the ball.

Do you know that if a defender tackles a player in offside position before he touches the ball, a foul would be awarded? If Akanji had kicked Rashford while running, but Bruno had still gone on to score would the goal be canceled? And Akanji go scot free?

There's nothing to gain because they cannot sell him above that fee in future even if he turns good. I mean look at Felix bought for 150m by Athletico Madrid and is going on loan. A player may be good doesn't mean he will be good for you. Arsenal scouted him, Chelsea only hijacked the deal.

Please note what I said. That whatever decision was made could still be debatable. That is even if an offside was given, it would be debated. Hence, each party must make a case for themselves. If Akanji had tried to play the ball then one would have justifiably said he was obstructed. The fact that he didn't, gave the ref room to award the goal. Remember, the ball wasn't coming to Akanji, it was leaving him. So he had to prove that he got the ball by making an attempt.

The 95m was because of Chelsea sudden interest in the player. That's why some of us are happy it didn't go through because it is not the right valuation of the player. Mudryk is not worth more than 50m. Chelsea's involvement was what inflated the price after they bidded 80m.

Remember also the the SD president made it clear he wanted a bidding war. He got what he wanted from a desperate Chelsea.

Come to think of it, why wasn't the other big clubs like PSG, Barca or Madrid (not to talk of man United and City) chasing him like we or Chelsea did?

This is exactly why I brought out those figures for people here to see that we have a model and a good one at that. The model is working excellently. I think the big losers are Chelsea.

Shakhtar wanted to sell after Arsenal showed interest after scouting, but hyped their player claiming he was better Antony bought for 80m by Man United. Chelsea fell for the hype, and knowing how successful Arsenal scouting has been in recent years decided to go all out. Remember they got Felix on an expensive loan deal (because of same Arsenal interest). What they don't know is that what works for us may not work for them.

I hope to have a last laugh. Not at the player but at Chelsea. 8.5year deal on over 300k weekly is surely going to disrupt they dressing room further. Many of their players will become dissatisfied and discontented and they will begin to cause trouble.

This picture below have always been my point. If you watch the video when casemiro gave the pass to Rashford, Akanji shifted forward (away from him) to ensure he was offside (ie setting offside trap) before chasing him. Without Rashford there, even without shifting forward, he'll get that ball cos he's more closer to the ball than Bruno and Walker.

Whether he attempts to tackle Rashford or not is not the Koko, the thing is Rashford made a great distance towards the ball into a dangerous zone, was setting himself up to play (that's an attempt) only to decide not to at the last minute. Even the decision himself will confuse Ederson who was already setting himself up to stop Rashford shot only to find out at the last minute that it's Bruno.

If all these things isn't interference... I don't know what is

Like I said, whatever decision was made could have equally be debatable. it now depends on the players to make a genuine case.

Note that an offside is penalised only if the player in the offside position touches the ball or interferes with an opponent by obstructing him from playing the ball.

In this case, the ball was played as a through pass, Rashford did not touch the ball (so could not have been penalised for this). The only other point is if he was interfering with an opponent by obstructing his movement or CLEAR vision. What Akanji could have done was to make a case by jumping into Rashford in an attempt to clear the ball. That would have made a case, but here he didn't make an attempt to play/clear the ball and so leaves Bruno with the advantage.

I blame Akanji for not making an attempt.

One thing is sure, the situation is debatable either way the ref makes the call.

I think the guilty person here is Akanji. There was no interference because the ball was ahead of him. But as Rashford was clearly impeding his movement, he ought to have made an attempt for the ball. That would have given the ref a case to call an offside.

So Kokaneprodigy is right on this rare occasion.

I don't remember Wenger using an Inverted FBs. The reason why White rarely make those runs is because of Zinchenko (or KT) coming to the midfield. White will have to stay back to firm a 3-man defence. By that time, our formation will be 3-2-5.

Your observations are same as mine.

Wenger uses his fullbacks as part of the attack to create width, while Arteta uses his for defensive work basically both in the middle and on the sides.

These days, a team is either defending as a whole or attacking. TAA is a fullback but is more regarded for his attacking prowess. Some attackers are known to be able to track back and defend. The position a player occupies is just in the mind. In reality, it's just all depends on the phase of the game.

Hence, when one says defense or attack it's actually on the particular phase of the game. Some teams are good in attacking, some in defending and the good teams have both. It all depends on their set up.

For a team to win the league they have to be good defensively. A good attack will ensure you win games. But a good defense will ensure you don't lose. Hence, attack wins games and defense wins titles.

Obi doesn't need to win all the states. He is already sure of landslide victories SE, SS and NC. He is also confident of at least 25% in all SW states. Add Lagos and Kaduna with good voter's turnout and he is home and dry.
