On the contrary, my belief is that Buhari is using Emefiele to work against BAT. Probably as a revenge for what he said about him- making Buhari president, and how he taunted him in Jos by shouting 'Buhari' several times like a warning.

Recall that Buhari actually wanted Lawan and made Adamu the APC chairman to make the announcement, but this was thwarted by the APC NWC and the northern governors, some clearly behind Tinubu or at least to protect that political power.

As it stands so far, since the Jos incident Buhari has never appeared in any campaign for BAT. Instead, CBN came up with the monetary policy clearly targeted at the February elections in addition to the BVAS and new electoral law. Buhari knows that BAT's only political strategy is rigging and vote buying. He has blocked both avenues. He, I believe will be rooting for Atiku as a usual nepotistic human being. But he will rather have BAT lose than any other thing.

If they can pay billions just to get elected, imagine how they will sell this country to their cronies. Even Atiku confessed publicly to want to enrich his family and friends.

By the grace of God, they will fail and someone with a clean hand will rule this country come 2023.

Most of the time the bad leadership are products of bad systems.
