I think it is very glaring to see that Nigeria does not have the resources to employ more personnels. This excuse is starting sound like the New national anthem.
I once asked here on what the salary for 50k soldiers would be annually; exclude funds for training, equipments, welfare and all that. Where would BAT get those funds?
Yes, you can remind me about monies lost to corruption, but the corruption will also be there after 2023.

1. He is as corrupt as they come and the least qualified in terms of competence, he won't lace Kwankwaso's shoes not to talk of the other candidates. Besides, who are the people beside him? Same old cargoes.
2. If only man has maintained a straight path in politics, he was in PDP when it was acknowledged to be the definition of corruption, he run with Atiku when Atiku used money to beat all PDP candidates and would have stayed in PDP if not for his 'my money' attitude, he has no qualms playing along when others did the heavy lifting (dolling out the cash) but is now claiming sainthood to avoid spending money on what he knows is a fruitless venture. He is as bad as they come.
If you genuinely want someone who is not part of the establishment whatsoever, the Sowores, Kola Abiola's and Almustapha's are there. Stop hiding behind a finger. Like I said, he is no saint. Every other person you have mentioned are as criminal as they get. My concern is to look for the best possible option. That's Peter Obi. iamoyindamola: It's obvious they have plans On the contrary, my belief is that Buhari is using Emefiele to work against BAT. Probably as a revenge for what he said about him- making Buhari president, and how he taunted him in Jos by shouting 'Buhari' several times like a warning. Recall that Buhari actually wanted Lawan and made Adamu the APC chairman to make the announcement, but this was thwarted by the APC NWC and the northern governors, some clearly behind Tinubu or at least to protect that political power. As it stands so far, since the Jos incident Buhari has never appeared in any campaign for BAT. Instead, CBN came up with the monetary policy clearly targeted at the February elections in addition to the BVAS and new electoral law. Buhari knows that BAT's only political strategy is rigging and vote buying. He has blocked both avenues. He, I believe will be rooting for Atiku as a usual nepotistic human being. But he will rather have BAT lose than any other thing. Just follow my thoughts |

Raheeqilmaktoom: Taking back Nigeria by someone whose convoy was caught to be carrying 250m? Or by someone who invested state resources in his personal business? Or by someone whose name appears prominently in the international exposé of thieves in Pandora papers?
PO is the wrong person to claim such morality. He's not much different from the persons he is competing against, he is part and parcel of maladministration in this country. Besides being grossly incompetent, what does this guy has to offer? False stats and primary school economics?
I would pass. He is neither a saint nor a Messiah so stop acting like he is coming to save the world. But one thing we know is that he is better than the others in terms of character, competence and capability. He is the only candidate that has shown empathy and genuine concern for the plight of Nigerians. He is coming to change the political landscape because of his frugal economic policies. I know this because of the verbal attacks from other mainstay politicians even those within his state and region. He will impoverish all political thieves. They know. But here is the key reason I support Peter Obi. Others like Tinubu and Atiku bribed delegates to secure their mandates. In a sane country, they should have been facing trial and not elections. But this is Nigeria. If they can pay billions just to get elected, imagine how they will sell this country to their cronies. Even Atiku confessed publicly to want to enrich his family and friends. By the grace of God, they will fail and someone with a clean hand will rule this country come 2023.

Education is a scam was a cruise statement invented by local yahoo boys. These boys don't know how to write or even speak English but re collecting thousands of dollars from oyibo people, it works for them because they carry juju (Oki ite, udu Ako mmiri and others) They just copy and paste from the already written format gives to em by their Oga, they can't type on their own, only the thing in that format and client will be paying. I have seen em well well, even in banks, they can't fill any form given to em by bank workers, they will call the gateman working in the bank to fill for em after they will settle em. They're the ones that invented that slogan "school nah scam" because they're collecting money oyibo people that re learned without difficulty.
So how can undergraduate in a university believe that slogan and was asking it as a question to a presidential aspirant. If the questionare believe that slogan, he should sharply drop out and become keyboard warrior. Obi is not an educational therapist, that question should be directed to his professor.
Tinubu's own re important issues the country is facing (insecurity, oil theft , economy, any presidential aspirant is a must to know how to tackle em.
Obi's question that he delegated is about "school nah scam" Thank you. There are questions meant to be answered by a presidential aspirant. It's like somebody asking Peter Obi the definition of osmosis. A reasonable candidate should redirect the question to the appropriate quarters. Asking a presidential candidate about 'school na scam' is a silly question for the moment and Peter Obi earns more respect in redirecting the question to those who should be responsible. It is lack of sense to use that as a fallback to the irresponsibility of Tinubu. The most annoying part is that those who claim to be neutrals fell for that stupidity. That they fell for it simply exposed them. You cannot support Tinubu and not be stupid. ~Oyedepo |

I'm saying our adaption and evolution will only continue, that's a fact. Not us going backwards to start highlighting individual tribes.
India has 2000 ethnic groups but most of them adopt English and or Hindu. That's how they move forward. Language divides us. But what makes nations to collapse is religion. Nigeria is not just divided by language but also by religion. More interestingly, the religious divide is along geographic and ethnic lines which makes us the more unique compared to other multilingual and multireligious societies. If we don't come together now and regionalise, a breakup is very eminent. |

If Nigeria breaks up, the major tribes will accommodate the minorities. Even there are minorities in some of the countries formed from the Soviet Union.
The tribes that can't coexist should go their separate ways.
The smallest tribe in Nigeria has more population than Vatican City, the smallest country in the world by population.
However, I prefer regionalism to outright breakup.

When talking about other regions its because they are easily controlled
When talking about SE with similar or worse evidence it's because elections are rigged, they are chameleons
Oyo went to AD to PDP to ACN to PDP its because they are easily controlled. Enugu has been with PDP since 1999 its because they vote on credibility and don't follow sheepishly
Presidency Oyo has voted AD PDP APC PDP. It's because they are easily controlled by one person
Presidency Enugu has always voted one party PDP. It's because they follow credibility and don't follow sheepishly
So they don't rig in other regions or chameleons don't exist in other regions
These evidence are there right in your face I am not disputing your view based on the examples you give. Things aren't as absolute as you take my points to be. There are exceptions and generalities. Generally, SEners don't not follow an individual. You can go and verify. |

raumdeuter: So Ikpeazu Chime TA Orji, Mbadinuju Elechi, Obi Obiano are all credible? Are they more credible that the governors in SS, SW NW or NE? Credibility is relative here. The main point is that they don't follow anyone sheepishly. You have to convince them. Unlike other places where someone can control the entire political space of the state or region. So unless the election is rigged or legal powers are used, you can't win elections in SE simply because you belong to a party or your godfather. |

Anambra has voted APGA for the past 20yrs straight, Enugu Abia Ebonyi have all voted PDP whether na devil dey ballot for the past 24yrs
Probably once you are in APGA in Anambra you become credible and once you are in PDP in Abia Enugu Ebonyi, you become credible Most of the time the bad leadership are products of bad systems. Sometimes it's the electoral process (Ohakim, Uzodinma etc) sometimes it's the loss of credibility of the individual (Rochas), sometimes the judgement leads to apathy and the highest rigger takes the day.
