My point is that Tierney doesn't play width nowadays. If you watch even our latest game against Westham where he started, he was always drifting into the Midfield/middle. Same against Brentford and Aston Villa (games he started).
And it's farce to say Tierney puts in more crosses— That's false and a very big misconception. Just because Tierney of previous seasons puts in more crosses doesn't mean he does so frequently this season. In fact he's made only 11 crosses in 14 matches this season while Zinchenko have made 11 crosses in only 9 matches.
Tbh, I always find it funny when guys this season always say KT always spam crosses. Like same Tierney weh I dey watch this season?


As for Lokonga, it's very obvious the matches he played. Elneny haven't started match this season (or just 1 if I'm not mistaken) so I can't even make a case for him.
Partey is boss. Not that he can't play Double pivot but the single pivot makes us more expressive and fluid. Something Lokonga always makes us limited in whenever he played this season.

Both Tierney and Zinchenko plays inverted fullbacks this season. It's the reason why Tierney have lesser crosses per game this season unlike previous seasons. The only thing distinguishing Zinchenko from Tierney in that role is just quality since KT is still learning on the job

The only thing why we play double pivot with Sambi is just his overall weakness in that role. He hardly brings anything aside from recycling and maintaining possession.

I want to make a suggestion as regards player valuation.

Obviously a lot of clubs and independent bodies fix the market value of football players but I think its time FIFA take over by handing the power and authority to the various continental bodies like UEFA, CONCACAF, CAF etc. Obviously there are indices with which a player is valued and they can continue or add to such indices. If any club feels their player has more value than what FIFA and its continental bodies fix, they can always appeal, present videos and evidence to back their claim.

I believe this will cub greedy Club owners and Club president that try to milk Premier league clubs.

I understand that once a player signs for a club they become more like their property but FIFA needs to have a lot more right when it comes to such decisions. La-Liga sets release clause on players i believe all football clubs need to set release clauses on their players as well.

As regards the game, I'm concerned about our movement in the final third with the absence of Gabriel Jesus. He brings more than just goals to the front line, I'm worried Nketiah may not bring all that energy for us to overrun the hammers defence quickly before they settle into the game.
