What's the price of flush door for bedrooms and bathroom.
What's the general estimate for wall screeding for a two bedroom flat. Thanks. |

Jodera: Lol, if I talk about Nelson issue, we might go on and on on this issue. While I might be wrong on making inferences as you said, I will just wait to see if I'm right or wrong on this. That's why I said Nketiah deliberately decided not to join other clubs not big as Arsenal because he knows he still has a chance here with both Lacazette and Aubameyang phasing out next season. He only wants assurances of playing time and small increment as a bigger boy. |

Jodera: I know the bolded. But when player isn't seeing shirt at a particular club, he isn't a superstar and he's still very young, yet he declines a deal to go to an EPL club just because of wages and that he wants a big club. Lol.
If that isn't playing us, then I don't know what it is. It would have been different if arsenal wanted him. I look at things in context and not just looking at things generally.
By January, Nketiah will be allowed to have a precontract deal with any willing club. God keeps us alive till then and let's see whether arsenal will sell him by January or he'll sign an extension before his contract expires. As for me, I know none will happen We must be careful when making inferences because we are not privy to the actual facts. Reis Nelson, had a year and wasn't even playing as much as Nketiah but still signed an extension before being sent ON LOAN. Now this doesn't rhyme with your logic. |

Jodera: You're forgetting that clubs are smarter nowadays. Who will sign a player wen they know they can get the player for free next year. Which player will sign an extension when he knows he can go to any clubs he feels he can go to an they know they can pay his wages cos he was gotten free. Unless you're telling me arsenal will put a gun to nketiah's head to sign a contract, I don't see him extending his contract. Just forget, nketiah and him agent don play us sense I will leave you to your thoughts but it's obvious you not spreading your tentacles of information. Many players do leave when they have a year left on their deals. MANY. |

Jodera: I disagree with the bolded. Do you know what SIX whole months is? That's half a season o. How do you judge a good coach and team success in 6 months which is half of the season gone. Do you think others will wait let your team gel for 6months??
A good coach knows within 1-2 months what needs to be strengthened. To judge a team or signings to improve team(s), you need 2 playing months highest. Remember 2011/12 season after man u flog us 8-2, how we sharply bought players. The players bought improved us(from Arteta, to Santos to mertesacker). It didn't take 2 months not to talk of 6months. We even won Chelsea and Liverpool in their house t and won convincingly too before finishing 3rd. That's what good signing does.
If by mid-october, no big improvements in this team, then our transfer window is officially bad bad bad!!! I am pretty sure you didn't follow through my post before reaching your conclusion. Evaluating a coach is different from evaluating a squad. Coaches can be changed at anytime, but a squad cannot be changed at anytime. It takes six months in-between to change a squad. So by induction, a squad has six months to prove itself or rather a club has six months to prove that it had a successful window. I mean that, irrespective of the coach, if a club's business in the TW is not good, they will have to wait for another six months to effect any corrections. I hope I'm clear enough because this is simple logic. |

Jodera: Shey he's in the last year of his contract? Lol We go see who go force am extend if he wants to leave for free. You're even forgetting arsenal have a history of allowing players leave for free He can only leave for free it there are no suitors or if the both parties agree. Sometimes a player may want to extend but the club doesn't want to. In that case the player can leave if he has demand elsewhere. The market is always driven by demand. |

Jodera: Till January? We should just kukuma give dem this season to see whether this transfer window is a failure or not na
By November any team needs to know what's up with their signing highest By Jan I mean the next transfer window. It's a different thing judging the performance of a coach and the strength of a team. It takes six months to judge if a team needs strengthening. That's why the TW is every six months. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Spy360(m): 2:15am On Sep 06, 2021 |
Jodera: I've always said we need to improve our midfield and attack, not just attack. No matter how we wanna look at this window, it's a failure.
Except Pepe improves drastically, we don't have anyone aside Auba that can give us 15+ league goals.
Except Odegaard and/or ESR add goals to their games, we don't have any midfielders that can give us 10+ league goals.
The only defender that always look like scoring is Gabriel (excluding White and Tomi who are new signings).
If you add all these things together and you still feel we try for this transfer window, then lemme just say sorry for us You cannot conclude that it's a failure until we see the team play. Edu and Arteta have until Jan to prove not Sep. |

Jodera: Hmmm... Who is the agents of all these players sef? And is it that they(the players) don't have sense?
Which big club will be able to guarantee you playing time when you can hardly see that playing time at arsenal sef. And why do most players place money over playing time, knowing fully well that if/when they play well, the money will surely come.
Na wa ooo. Well he'll walk away free, Hopefully he get his wish.
Thanks for the info and enlightenment. I don dey too vex for the White Ben Amount and the news been further make me vex, but at least I know the main issue now I think Nketiah wants to stay at Arsenal but wants assurances that he will play. So he is using the deal as leverage. Bad agent like you said. But I am sure Arsenal will not allow him leave for free when there are suitors. He will either extend or choose one of the suitors. |

ObaIgwe1: I later found out that it was Nketiah that threw spanners into the whole thing, including offer from C.Palace. The guy wants more money than what Brighton and Palace are willing to pay and he also prefers bigger clubs.
This is also the main reason he has refused to sign an extension with us... He wants more money than was proposed.
We cannot sell a player against his wishes. I just hope his agent is advising him right and I hope he will get better offer from bigger clubs when he walks out free from us at the end of the season. Once again you did justice to an issue. Let me point out that when players near the end of their contracts and refuse to leave, the club can force them to extend. So that if they don't want to extend, they have to move to a bidder. |

Jodera: Just read yesterday that Brighton was open to Nketiah and cash, but arsenal was insistent on only cash which made us part with £50m.
Also read that Ryan was open to staying with position of a back up role cos his a lifelong arsenal fan, but arsenal decided otherwise.
And yet this club dey write us epistles about how we should be patient cos they're assembling all the youth players in the world to come play for us. They should go read history how fab, nasri and van Persie to name a few jumped ship to better club immediately better club came calling.
Spy, if you no see the hypocrisy from this board esp the 3rd paragraph, then see it now cos we will soon become former big 6 club soon. I think they wanted a backup keeper who will eventually replace Leno (Leno seems to have agreed with the club to leave next season). They wanted a young British player who can play ball. Let's hope Ramsdale fits the bill. But he looked good in the Carabao cup. |

mostob: I've shared my opinion on this sometimes ago but why are you people overlooking the midfield? If our midfield is good, other departments will improve. Look at the way Lukaku was using our defence to catch cruise the other time, why couldn't he did the same against Liverpool? It was because their midfield was good. The money wasted on Ramsdale and White should have been used to get midfielders with Ryan and Saliba getting the nod but the mumu board no sabi economics. On a lighter note, I think Wenger was able to run this club because he is an economist. Lol @ economist but you are right. Its my opinion that players in a team should be categorised as either attackers or defenders. So when I say defense it includes DM, or when I say attack it includes AM and wingers. Some people categorise into defense, midfield and attack. Depends. |

Fkhalifa: I know Arsenal won't spend, so I came down to a realistic level. Arsenal won't get Halland, Bernado and Vinicious, but Arsenal can get those I mentioned to START with or patch things up till they can get funds through proceeds from European competition. IMO, Maddison,Countinho and Draxler has a higher chance of taking Arsenal back to Europa at the end of the season than this present attack. So if you are made Arsenal's TD, you will make Haaland, Bernardo, Vinicious, and probably Lukaku, Mbappe etc to sign for us? Bros wake up, you're still dreaming. On a more serious note, forget it. It's a general management principle to first strengthen defense before attack. Especially when you have fairly above average attackers. It's cheaper, easier, more sensible, more long term, and more achievable. After that, focus can then be given to attack. That's exactly what the club is doing, and they are on the right path. Next season with Lacazette and say Nketiah off, the club can then bring in two or three high profile attackers. Hopefully then, we would be in a good position to negotiate and attract them. |

Fkhalifa: This I 100% agree, the reason I opined here sometimes that Arsenal's bench players can't make first 11 of those mid and low tabled teams. As much as we criticize Arterta, I won't be blind to the fact that 85% of these players are not good enough for a FC like Arsenal. Most of them are just too basic and the youngsters we rate are either just there or still growing. I remember during the days of Carzola, despite playing alongside average players, he always standout, take away Tierney,Saka and 2/3 more players in this squad, the rest aew not up to my standard. I thought you always said we needed more attackers, how come you support him 100%? I may be wrong on the though. |

ObaIgwe1: from Edu's interview....
"Just to give you some context, we renewed - in one year - five sets of contracts, and five of them are under the age of 23 for the first team. Then, in this period, summer to summer, we signed 10 players and seven out of the 10 are under 23 as well.
“We had 21 players exit over the year,” “All of those were terminated or we tried to sell, or we tried to loan with an obligation to buy as well. "
“We tried to clear a bit of the squad and bring in some new faces. We had 21 outgoings and signed 10 players in one year.
“So, 21 changes, it is a lot. It’s more than a squad in one year. But this was the intention again when we are talking about the base and the foundation.”
“Why did we do that? Because we have a reason to try again to create a good foundation and then, one day, maybe we are going to sign one or two players only. But after that, it’s impossible to sign one or two players only because we have a lot to do.
Edu admits that Arsenal's start to the season has been unacceptable but has called for unity at the club and re-iterated that he has full confidence that matters will improve.
'Talking about my role, I understand the pressure. I understand the pressure on me, Mikel, the board and the club because the situation we are in now is not acceptable. 'But, now is the moment for everybody to be together and I would like to see people step forward in difficult moments and take the responsibility.
'I am responsible for what we are doing.'
“All three games we have played against Brentford, Chelsea and Manchester City, unfortunately we have had some difficult moments in terms of COVID and injuries.
“I want to see the team play together and then let’s judge the team when they play together. Then, after that, no problem. Judge us then.
“I understand the situation we are in now is really tough. It’s not an excuse but let’s judge the team when they play together.”
“I don’t want to go for top four or top six or top eight or top 10. I’m just really looking forward to seeing this squad play together. I’m really looking forward to seeing everyone fit,” said Edu when asked what Arsenal’s target was for the season.
“I want to see our squad because I don’t see it yet. But I’m really looking forward to it because I believe and Mikel believes that this team can have a good season.”
My Take:
I don't see the board sacking Edu or Arteta anytime soon irrespective of whatever results we get this season. They have sold the idea of building a new team for the future to the board and the owner, and told them not to expect any immediate results. Forget about all those Arteta sack deadline rumors, Arteta is not going anywhere soon. The owner and the board have been bought over with their "sweet" plans .
One can choose to believe Edu, be positive, supportive, trust the process and dream along with them, but for the sake of my heart, I have chosen not to expect anything much from Arsenal this season just praying we don't go into relegation while Arteta and Edu finish cooking and smoking whatever they want.
But on the good note, he said we can judge them when we have the whole team available and played together... So till then Arteta na good marketer. You need to hear him speak, he will bamboozle you. But when you start seeing tactics or in-game management, you know he is shiit. |

Jodera: All these ones you're saying tactically is just you skewing the talk to suit your narrative. Alexis Sanchez/Mane is known always for helping his fullback wen defending, sometimes even winning the balls. Does that make them a defender? No. Also nobody will call TAA or Robertson wingers. Like I says earlier, don't muddle up positions just to sound right, it's wrong in every way. Nobody (not even ardent Liverpool fans) will ever call Henderson a defender. Same way no Chelsea fan will call Kante a defender.
Man city have won 5 EPL titles, if I tell you to name their player of the seasons in each of their title wins now, you go run(or change mouth). Just one anomaly wey happen last season, you just run sharp sharp bring defence wins you league as if it's a norm Lol. Before nko. Na court we dey. I own up to the Henderson case.
