For 4ck sake! Doctors told him he will be lucky if he walks his son around the garden.
He revealed himself what the doctor told him:
"If you get to walk again with your son in the garden, be satisfied, they told me," Cazorla continued
Any serious club would not hold on to a player who has had such remarks made about him.
I don't know why we have to keep going back on this Like he drinks egg yoke and lemon juice for anti aging. Like he is a 20year old up coming star. Some people like the comment sha. I weak. |

Fkhalifa: Our style/culture of do it the easy and classy way is our undoing, no wonder Sanchez couldn't cope.. Torreira is good, he's got football brain, but he isn't the warrior to Marshall the middle for a whole year, however, he could thrive well playing beside the Ndidi,Partey and Doucoure. The confidence with which you reach conclusions amaze me. I envy you bro. |

Fkhalifa: I saw Mahrez and Albrighon threatening and creating dangerous chances from the wings that year, Vardy was majorly lone striker and Kante was clearing the middle..
Well,Okazaki may have paired him up sometimes, but 433, 8 out 10 times is a better set up for modern footy. I agree that most top managers use the 4-3-3 these days but really bro, no pattern is better than the other. It's who uses it that matters. Conte came to EPL with the 3-5-2 and won the league at second attempt. Again no formation is best, it's who uses it that matters. |

Fkhalifa: Even Ceballos to me doesn't have their old Milner's energy, ceba tries but not at the physical level yet, Torreira arguably most hardworking and runner but was brushed off by Ricardo Pereira last week,he needs protection by playing alongside Ndidi/Partey/Docoure..
This is English football, why do you think the likes of Deeney feel confident playing against us, its always "go hard on them" and you'll see them crumble.. This is not LA liga, this Average Arsenal side had fun beating Valencia home and away, and they beat Barca in a cup final. This is not the era of soft passing football of busquet days, see the calibre of midfielders around the top4. Unai Emery might have his problems, but the right personnel with suitable traits matters as well, but not many will know. Arsenal kills talent as far as I am concerned. We fans usually don't see straight. Torriera could be better than two of those three you listed. Just line him up with different players under a different coach. |

Fkhalifa: I agree with your Torreira argument, but Lucas to me still needs protection, he isn't used to this kind of rough league with too many game schedule in a year. I do not agree " any system" can work, but the right modern style that suits modern football. When Leicester won the league they did so with an outdated 4-4-2 last used in the 90s. Don't call it a one off because it worked perfectly. |

Fkhalifa: The main problems in this area is the lack of a physically powerful, energetic leader as a DM.
Look at Liverpool, Man City any Leicester who are blessed with three gems who are the link between the back four and the other players.
Neither Torreria not Dhaka are up to this task, and while Chambers did a good job as a DM for Fulham I doubt it he is good enough at a higher level. If we had a quality DM like Ndidti,we could adopt a 4-3-3 system which is favoured by the top four in the PL and use the likes of Guendouzi and Willock as box to box midfielders which would provide energy and drive to support the front three who have got to work just as hard on their defensive capabilities as they do in attack.
The front three of Liverpool and Man City work their socks off to regain possession something which is lacking in Auba and Pepe but is their in Martinelli. In essence, to be successful in today’s game, everyone has to bust a gut if the team is going to be successful. In such a set up I’m afraid there is no room for a number of our midfielders such as Ozil,Ceballos, Torreria and Xhaka .We have decent full backs in Bellerin and Tierney to fit into such a system and only need one quality CB to partner Saliba next season to make it work.
Copied#..
Get in any manager who can reason like the above post, the bolded is a major concern. In my experience in football, any system can work for any team once they can master it. Ruling out Torriera especially is undermining him. The likes of Kante, Mascherano and Makalele didn't have the physical build but were strong and resilient. They were looked down on but became the best. Let's try Torriera first and see how he can master the position. Another is Chambers. |

BlueRayDick: Emery has been trying different formations, rotating players all year and we are where we are (in Osinbajo voice).
I just don't buy that idea at all. Emery does not have players to execute that klopp style at all. Experimenting will only get us sinking deeper than we already are. Emery that starts Kolasinac wants him to play like Robertson
Make I even imagine this thing. It will end in tears abeg! I think ifvhe would just stick to a particular way and allow the boys master it over time it would have be been better. Note that while personnel is important, any team can adapt any tactics. Now that we have more wingers than ever, a wing base tactics is what makes sense really. |

BlueRayDick: Arsenal do not have the right players play the same formation as loserpool. It's evident.
Xhaka isn't as skillful as Wijnaldum, Xhaka does not have half of the ruggedity and doggedness Wijnaldum possess, Xhaka doesn't even move the ball past few centimeters from whence he receives the ball........
Torreira obviously isn't up there with Fabinho at all. As a matter of fact, after Wilfred Ndidi the next in rank in that particular position is Fabinho. He's rock solid in that position.
There's absolutely no way Emery's current team will execute Loserpool's game play I know. But if they try may be we will still be third. Don't say something is not possible when it hasn't been tried. |

patrickmuf: Xhaka in that system won't be effective, Xhaka is lazy and doesn't cover enough ground like Wijnaldum who in my opinion is highly underrated. True what you said of Xhaka. But he isn't that bad na. Some slow players know how to manage their space through game reading. I believe Xhaka can learn to manage space despite those shortcomings. The point is that Arsenal can adopt that system and use it to a level of effectiveness better than what we have now. |

patrickmuf: Xhaka and Guen won't offer half of the protection that Wijnaldum and Henderson guarantees... Why not? Xhaka is a better player than Wijnaldum apart from Arsenal. A good coach can use him better. Guen is still growing who knows what he will turn out to be. Kroos? Besides, a good coach can train those boys and drill them very well to master each others game. That's what Klopp did and it's working. Apart from VVD, I can see any really exceptional player in Liverpool including Sarah and Mane. Place them in another team like Arsenal under a coach like Emery and see how shiit they would look. |

iamoyindamola: you said early last season With a better LB and winger in Tierney and Pepe, he was expected to improve the team. Earlier in the season when Tierney and Bellerin were both injured we managed to win games and were actually third, and I felt like OK if those two return there is no way we won't be able to challenge City or Liverpool for second position. But here we are... They returned and we even had the likes of Saka, Martinelli and Willock growing fast into top ballers. Guys who can act as super subs. But here we are... |

iamoyindamola: he didn't use any fullbacks, ozil have him working tactics but he wasn't satisfied The formation is actually what Liverpool use. Mane........... Firmino .......... Salah Wijnaldum... Fabinho.. Henderson Roberts.... VVD .... Lovren... Arnold ...................... Alison ....................... There is no no10, all midfielders are defensive but with ability for long pass. Arnold and Roberts push up, Wijnaldum and Henderson spread wide to cover them, Mane and Salah open up and join Firmino putting pressure on opposition defenders. Notice that both Mane and Salah are inverted which allows them to have a direct shot at goal with an unmarked foot. The beauty here is that the system has been so perfected by the players that it seems orchestrated and easy to watch. Auba........... Laca........... Pepe Xhaka........ Torriera ...... Guen Tierney.. Luiz.... Cham .Bellerin .................... Leno...................... |

iamoyindamola: nothing We can't create chances, we can't defend, we can't even keep possession of the ball. We are useless At the beginning of last season Emery used his fullbacks to great effect. So we felt he would do better with wingers. He got Pepe. But here we are... I think he should go back to that formation while keeping his wingers inverted. This means he should play without a traditional no 10. |

Jodera: Emery needs to go. Our style of play is so so pathetic. How the board is even giving him ultimatum with such a very poor style of play is even surprising. I expected the sack after Leicester's game but since they increased the deadline, I'll wait to see how it pans out. I can't continue to wish my arsenal to lose(so as they sack d man). I'll just hope for the best, but the garbage football we're playing is even more frustrating Do you think he can beat the ultimatum? Don't worry. It's a matter of time. I suspect the players even want him out which suggest their poor display. The likes of Torriera, Mustafi, Ozil etc. |

patrickmuf: Ox as a midfielder is a completely different proposition. You are judging him from his time at Arsenal but to be honest, even at Arsenal, his best games was when he was deployed in midfield... BlueRayDick: His performance has always been inconsistent. That’s my point. My brother, if you have Ox in your bench, you have a very good bench. Remember that if he is in your bench then he can't be anywhere else. He may not be consistent like giving you 20goals or assists a season (if he does that he won't be on the bench anyways) but he can give your opponent a run for just 15mins as a sub. |

Jodera: Yes, that's why if you read my previous post, I said aside front 3 and van dijk missing, any other can be manageable. That their midfield can substituted with any of the bench players. Arnold and Robertson can be substituted also(tho threat might reduce), and van dijk partner can be substituted. But those front 3 and van dijk... Hmmm. Any kpim, Liverpool might be in trouble. And the good news(for them) is that those 3 hardly go injury Don't even attempt to change your view for any reason. The point wasn't that these were starters, but benchers. A bench comprising of Origi, Ox, Lallana, and Shakiri would be the envy of most top clubs in top leagues. This is fact. But I will attribute Liverpool's dominance to Klopp's tactics. He has managed to instill a level of performance in his squad that as long as his key men are available on each match day, they will likely win. It will take a drastic change in personel to actual break it. This is similar to Man City of two seasons ago. |

Fkhalifa: This is Anfield When you look at this Liverpool team you easily spot their secret - Klopp. It's not the players though they are good ballers. It's the coach. He has instilled his tactics so well on his players, they simply ride the game. Similar to what Pep did two seasons ago with City. It will take losing 3-4 core players to break this dominance. |
