Jencejyde: Lol!
I'm just referring to the defensive organization off the ball. Every great team needs to have a side of steel too. Big teams keep the ball instead. So when they don't have it, they become disoriented. Small teams know they have to survive without the ball. |

Jencejyde: Watching Liverpool and Sheffield United and I was overly impressed with the organization from front to back of the Sheffield team. Liverpool missed a few but the closing down and compact nature of the midfield and defense was simply elegant. It shows a well coached team and players disciplined enough to do their jobs. How i pray Arsenal can play both sides of the game especially the defensive side off the ball with such organization.
In fact can we get a coach to just teach this our team our to play solidly off the ball? This is one area that is killing us and if this can be done to a reasonable extent, the team will improve a whole lot. If we played like Sheffield, you will not be an Arsenal fan. |

BlueRayDick: I don't really know why people are expressing surprise at Xhaka being named the captain o. Ever since the coach has relegated Ozil to the bench I've known Xhaka will be the captain tey tey. He's worn the armband so long not to be given permanently. With Koscienly gone, Ozil on the bench it was only a matter of time for Xhaka to be gifted the armband
I just hope his form improves and He gets to do less efending cos defending is just not his area of strength at all. I don't know if anyone saw Auba's peaked performance just after he received the arm band against Aston Villa. My man even tear free kick inside net. |

Xhaka has been known to have strong leadership qualities. Having been captain at his former club and national teams at different levels.
He isn't my first choice, but I wish him well.

daveP: You're so on point. Dude was just sitting down till we recovered after Auba's goal. Then he stood up to begin to gesture tactics and all that meaningless crap that works no more.
I love what Martinez did that night. Dude deserve an epl game. Very confident to me. Emery is still experimenting to me. Man is better off as an asst manager, trust me.
I miss players like Dinho, that ditch a coach's plan and try theirs and it worked so well. Players in such fold are Ballack, Piero, Trezeguet and Drogba. See what Chambers did 2nights ago. Emery still came to say Chambers didnt play according to his plan. But dude was effective in the win. If he isnt careful, we might see more ditchings that yield results. Right now, i prefer that to any heavenly tactics that yields nothing. Chambers did not really violate Emery's instructions. Emery had warned Chambers to sit back and avoid overlapping. He was trying to protect Chambers since the left back role isn't familiar to him. Chambers chose to push forward ignoring Emery's pity. Emery only pointed out Chambers' resilience and confidence, not that he was disobedient. |

A lot of credit must go to Freddie Lunjberg. Many of these young stars are showing mature skills, awareness and control. For a very long time we have not had so much abundant youthful talent in our squad.
He deserves the place besides Emery. Hopefully one day he will man the dugouts. |

Jencejyde: Men i'm so happy for Martinelli. The boys attitude at 18 is second to none. I see Ceballos and Torreira telling Nelson to stop all this flicks and tricks. Nelson and Emile are getting ahead of themselves if they think all these uneessary flamboyance will take them to the next level. I also trust Freddie to give them a strong warning concerning that. I like professionalism and seeing a youth product exhibit that nonsense should not be tolerated.
I also do not like the Ozil substitution. I mean, he really did not do anything wrong to warrant that. Hopefully this can be sorted out asap as the chemistry is really bad now.
All in all i guess any senior player that sees the bench should not complain as some of these lads are pushing for that first eleven.
It will be interesting to see the line up we parade against United. COYG! For Ozil probably it's a warm up to Man Utd. |

Jencejyde: Watched KT during some games in the Scottish league. He looks to me like your typical old school lb. Not too much skill and flare but just gets his job done effectively which is defend his position. Well i won't mind a left back who does not bomb forward for now until we get this defense sorted out as long as he keeps his discipline and prevents any threat coming from his side of the pitch. The opposite is the case for me. I know him as one who attacks, more like those FBs at Liverpool. |

You all should also put that same energy to criticize cvnts like Xhaka, the Greek wrestler, and the brainless body builder...
This guy is just 20 and is developing nicely, cut him some slack!
Playing deep is not his forte though, I see him more like a Yaya Toure or Cesc kind of player... Honestly bro. One little boy takes responsibility for grown up clowns and insignificant clowns has the guts to write shiit just because they have internet access. If the Guen/Xhaka partnership isn't working then there is only one person at fault, and it is not Guen. Definitely not. He does not even play as a DM as some kpako analyst are spurting, he plays a box to box/ runner role which involves more of attacking than even defending especially when playing against weaker oppositions. His burst into the box to win a penalty is part of his primary duty. That he couldn't track a player, is not what one can judge his game entirely on. That's silly thinking. We need the likes of Guendouzi playing every week. We need that bite, that doggedness, that fighting spirit, that mentality. Blame Socratis, or Xhaka. Blame Luiz or Kolasinac all you want, but why blame Guen? |

But he is the leader, and that's the problem. Emery loves him and would always find a place for him. Meanwhile, Chambers at RB is an upgrade on AMN. I need him to replace any of the SCs once Bellerin returns. |
