raumdeuter: Do you think David Alaba would have been better choosing Nigeria? Because of Alaba, Bayern has new set of fans in Austria with higher purchasing power who can buy Alaba merchandize, because of Alaba, Bayern can go for preseason in Austria and make more money like Son Heung Min for Spurs and Leverkusen in Korea As a result, Alaba will get about a 50K bump in salary per week. Get more quality endorsements(Not Viju milk) in Austria by being 6 time Austrian footballer of the year and 2 time sportsman of the year
Assuming Alaba had chosen Nigeria what would it have been to him and the value to Bayern to pay him that extra per week I mean England specifically. Some countries like France are very liberal in bonding with Africans. England are always emphatic about their British origin. |

BlueRayDick: If I was ozil too, i wouldn't bloody care. Players that have gotten to top level like himself are usually hard to discard by the coach without having serious financial implications for the club. Being armed with that information alone would make on unbothered and continue to smile to the bank each payday; so far your contract is not pay as you play.
If Emery doesn't find a way around the issue, he will only be costing the club money. Ozil has won the biggest cup in the world(World cup) and is obviously not interested in any international cup again, so that motivation is obviously not there and as such he will definitely not push for an exit to a club where he can get regular playing time for any international call-up. Also Ozil cannot be worse than Xhaka. I mean if there is an issue they should deal with it instead of putting the club at a loss. Working environment should be devoid of sentiments, and professionalism should direct all forms of approach to issues. He should play Ozil until he is able to sell him off. No matter how weaknesses, his talents are undeniable. He cannot be worse than Xhaka. |

I think the problem between Emery and Ozil may have reached personal levels. May be Ozil does not respect the coach, so the coach makes him feel unwanted. Ozil not send because his salary dey intact. I think at this point the top men in the club should wade into this matter before it escalates and the team chemistry breaks down. |

The chemistry isn't there yet but I believe when we leave this cautious approach of ours behind when our full backs return, there will be improvements in his game. I'd love to see how how can pair with Bellerin on the right flank. |

.... Guendouzi, Gabriel, Torreira, Tierney..... our investments are looking really good. It's been a while since our scouts got it right. E remain Pepe now. I strongly believe Pepe will find form especially as the competition has gotten to another level. He is really feeling the pressure of the price tag on him. But once he lets off, he will be on fire. The talent is already there to see, he will come through I am sure. |

Saka should be sub off for Pepe, Saka is a big boy to, Cesc I heard praised him and Guen..
Pepe should come in around 65thmint, he is competing with Nelson, that's his level for now
Also let's see what Niles can do in midfield, maybe Balogun also.
. I am really enjoying the stiff competition in the squad now. It only means one thing... improvements. Hope Emery sticks to his 'perform and play' policy. |

For Standard Liege, here's my team. I would like Martinez to give Leno another run and make Emery more confused. I have a lot of confidence in that guy. Again I am not going to give up on AMN, he should get an opportunity to show that he can improve. Lack of competition may have caused a lag, but he must get a chance, but Bellerin should start to gain fitness. Saka should get more game time as well as Nelson and Martinelli.
Give Guendouzi a rest, he's a big boy now. Torriera and Willock and Smith-Rowe can have their chance as well as Ozil. Can't understand why Emery relegates Ozil, such talent. I mean maximise his strengths rather than focus on his weaknesses.
Saka............ Martinelli.......... Nelson ......................... Ozil.......................... ......... Willock ........... Torriera......... Tierney.. Holding.. Chambers..Bellerin ...................... Martinez ...................... |

kokaneprodigy: You should be cos there was nothing uncivil about telling u that u lied. I was only saving u from the path of destruction which is hell. From ur post u’ve accepted nothing of such happened that’s a first step to redemption.
That said, I never said Guen would improve or not I’m more concerned about the present midfield play that has been abysmal which he’s also a part of then someone brought a stat of him completing more passes than anyone on the pitch, then I pointed that most of the passes where backwards and sideways and except you are Sokratis u are more likely to complete a pass in your own half than in the opponent’s half. The less said about that ridiculous 1 tackle in 90mins for a DM the better.
It was all these megedefegede stats that y’all kept bringing up that made peeps talk more about Guen not that he was the worst player on the pitch. Mute |

kokaneprodigy: stop lying through your teeth! Gnabry was excellent and a lot here never wanted him sold particularly after that international competition. Wenger had to sell him cos he couldn’t guarantee him a starting position. Guen was not close to what Gnabry was at same age. Bring a post where peeps criticized Gnabry u liar! I will be civil in my response. Probably you thought Gnabry was excellent. But guys like Tony Pulls felt he wasn't good enough. So many players have been termed not good enough until someone else who saw something good decided to harness it. Many fans including you think Guen is not good enough. Assuming Emery followed your line of thought we would not see the other qualities Guen has started showing this season. He undoubtedly has been our best midfielder so far this season. This speaks volumes. Someone like Nelson may currently be under fire, but good coaches will not deny the qualities he can bring out when properly managed. Remember De Bruyne was a Chelsea reject. But today he is bossing the PL. I am sure a lot of Chelsea fans regret not keeping him. Serge Gnabry wasn't good enough to play for West Brom. But he is good enough to play for Bayern. The point is for me, as long as a player makes conscious efforts to improve his game, try things even if he fails, I will always give that player a chance. No player is the perfect player. Everyone has a weakness- some are slow, some lack stamina, some can't stay in position, etc. But these are not what I am looking out for, I try to find their strengths instead. Xhaka can't run, but he can pass. Ozil can't defend, but he creates chances. Auba can't dribble but he positions himself well to score. Giroud is one legged but good with his head. Guen may not be Modric, but he has potentials. That's what I am looking at, and that's what I want us to see. Funny thing is that, he always gets positive reviews else where except for you lots. And because you and sod can type, you fill the thread with negative insinuations. |

Serge Gnabry An example of bad mouthing a young prospect instead of encouraging him to discover his talent.
They once said he isnt good enough for West Brom, not to talk of Arsenal. But today he is decimating teams in the CL.
We lost our freely provided winger, only to spend 72m for someone less talented. Guendouzi comes again to mind, they say he only recycles possession, not quick, no stamina. But the boy keeps pushing, they can't see how he has been gradually improving since last season.
Surely it takes special eyes to see good talent. |

.....I will pick martinelli over Nelson in that RW
....beside saka is an inverted winger, which means that his favourite position is the RW, but because of Pepe he was forced to play the LW position Saka, with his small frame will fit into that RW with ease. But he is balling hard on the left. Brilliant kid. We shouldn't give up on Nelson yet, he is still a kid and will mature. May be Saka's rise is what he needs to find his form that brought him to the first team in the first place. |
