I had an argument with my some friends about the above topic which was shown in AIT. In my opinion, i think security should be given urgent and immediate priority. However, my friend argued that Power should be given more priority than security. They said that with constant power, security threat will be minimized. I did not accept this because to me, it is the man who is alive that enjoys constant power supply. I gave them example of country with constant power yet still has security problems. I also informed them of the Rivers State Gas Turbine that was built by the Odili Administration but its high tension iron poles were vandalized by thieves because of lack of adequate security. Unfortunately, no body said anything on electoral reforms. So, Nairalanders, which of these pressing problems do you think the New Executive Council of the Federation should tackle as a matter of urgency: Security of lives and Property, Power Generation or Electoral Reforms. |

Poster, i find myself in this dilemma, it's not easy.I keep falling into the same sin which i confessed and vow not to go back. I was advised by a Priest to get married hence that would help me avoid the temptation. I am seriously searching for a life partner and my present gf who is a serious Christian understands me well. If thing works out well, i may settle down this year by God's grace. All the same, know that you are not the only one facing this type of religious crisis (that's what i call it). I've used it and it is okay, but you must be sure it is used in an environment where there is no interference or blockage of signal. Secondly, it is a shared bandwidth hence your speed depends on what you and other persons in the pool of bandwidth is doing. |

Why not start with the guy, find out what he really feels for the girl and if you think he is just a playboy, send the girl an anonymous text message about his lifestyle without disclosing your identity. In this way, she will not blame you when she eventually finds out or get heart broken. |

Comparing wealth should not be the issue, why not compare infrastructure, education, in short basic necessities of life before you conclude. I have never been to Ghana and i don't want to go there but if you look at the way and manner Nigerians are running to Ghana, you will stop comparing. 1 Like |

EFCC always parade people, what has happened to "not guilty until proven guilty by a competent court". I am not in support of fraud but i am not also supporting the EFCC style of publishing this type of case without having a conviction. They continue this attitude for publicity at the detriment of the accused. If eventually the woman is guilty, how will they remedies her battered image? EFCC should do their job and get convictions before going public. When we begin to hear only convicted persons (not suspects), then we know that the fight against corruption is not selective and is working. For now, i will talk this as one of the many EFCC publicity schemes. I think the bank has failed in their jobs if the EFCC should be doing their job now. What has gone wrong with the banking ethics? |

My decision may vary depending on my relationship with them 1) I'll park out of the house with my kids and remarry. 2) Call for a family meeting in the village and report the abomination to them, they should deal with the issue the traditional way 3) Test my kids (to be sure they are mine and not my brother or another unknown or unseen man) 4) Swallow my pride as a a man would and continue to live with my wife (for better for worse) Poster, check similar post on Nairaland, i'm very sure you will get the answers you seek. |

In the 1960s & 1970s, Primary six certificate (FSLC) was hot cake, jobs were waiting for those that have it. In the 1980s and early 1990s, it was WAEC, in the late 1990s, First degree was then hot cake. early 2000, First degrees + Post Graduate Diploma. Now they have made Masters degree compulsory for you to be recognized. Soon PH.d will become obsolete. I really think the solution is to create job for yourself. Be your own employer. See how musicians are making it big. |
