My phone is always on lock, my wife knows the code, it has nothing to do with infidelity rather with security. I have my Visa and Master cards numbers, pin etc in my phone, I have account numbers and so many private information that is not for the public stored in it. Imagine if my phone is lost or stolen, all that information is also lost and may be used fraudulently. |
Nigeria pastors and critisms, I wonder what new thing they want to change. Yesterday they were against used of candles and olive oil, today they are criticising a doctrine they no nothing about. I wonder if Adeboye knows that the Bible was written and assembled by the Catholic church or that the only church in Isreal till today is Catholic. Pastor Adebayo should focus on his private business called a church and leave the Catholic church alone because even the gate of hell can not prevail against it. |
Abagworo: And I believe you must be an opposition to write all these about Amaechi. I challenge all you Amaechi haters to tell me the number of major roads in Port Harcourt before the coming of Amaechi. The only dual roads in Port Harcourt were Aba road, Ikwerre road(re-constructed by Amaechi), Olu Obasanjo(Re-constructed by Amaechi) , Stadium to Rukpowu(Re-constructed by Amaechi), Odili(re-paved by Amaechi) and Trans-Amadi road. Amaechi has his shortcomings but I see most people condemning him as being mischievous and envious. Same with those condemning Rochas. What you should have asked is if all I wrote is the truth? Opposition or supporter does not hide the obvious truth. It is only when we as a people stop praise singing our leaders when they are in power that we will certainly develop, I don't see the British people praise sing Gordon Brown neither do you read or hear where American praise sing their leaders, it is only in Nigeria. If you must compare Amaechi with Odili, please also compare how much money both individuals has controlled and expended. Do i need to be in Opposition to know that the monorail in Rivers State is a sham, or the so called Greater Port Harcourt that only an uncompleted stadium and a phantom mega hospital is located? Talking about roads, oooh, oooh, ooh God, I pity for your kind of person, what does it cost to maintain an existing road rather than award a fresh contract and what is the quality? Amaechi's first road projects (UST roundabout to Olu Obasanjo road and the Rumuokwuta NTA-Choba road) are still under construction five years after and you are here singing his praise. Where exactly do you live in Port Harcourt? Is Port Harcourt the only place in Rivers State? There are 23 LGA's, you can't go to Etche, even Amaechi's village Ubima and the surrounding communities does to have access roads and instead of resurface, he awarded fresh contract. Note that it is shameful to beg the Government to come and do road, it is Amaechi and his cabinet members duty to do road, I should not sing their praises for doing their job, if a doctor does his duty which is to save life, do you sing his praise? Please face reality and think clearly, there is no politics in reality, you can't deceive the eye. When Amaechi leaves office, you will castigate him like those who drank and sang Odili yeyeyeyeye and later called him names after he is out of office. It is better to tell him the truth now, at least fior your conscience sack. |
The extent of rot and mismanagement of public funds in Rivers State is so high and regrettably shameful for any right thinking individual to praise the Government. It's a shame that we are yet to recount the benefit of the aircrafts purchased by Peter Odili and what the funds were used for, Amaechi who is wasting billions of tax payers money on phantom projects like the Rivers monorail has continue to plunder our scare resources in whatever way he wants. There is no good road in Rivers State, no employment, no security. no functioning hospital apart from BMH yet some blind individuals whose mentality is eroded will come here to praise sing and support insanity. In developed Nations, people like Amaechi will be impeached and thrown in jail for reckless wastage of scare resources. All we hear and see is giant strides on AIT and billboards, yet what is on ground is far from reality. I would simply describe Amaechi's Government as the more you look, the less you see. After all, he doesnot have any programme or agenda and the dumb House of Assembly gave him right to spend 30% of the state budget the way he likes. Go round Port Harcourt and indeed Rivers State, his name stinks. |
what about local government identification. Shouldn't it be abolished. |
If you guys purchase at N120 and the pump is standard, i can manage. Here in Rukpokwu, Port Harcourt, you see N97 but you actually pay over N200. I bought 30 Litres at a station in Rukpokwu and when I looked up at the meter, it reads 50.87 liters. I screamed, does this can look like 50litre can to you (referring to the attendant). I have begun self boycotting of this thieves (as they are worse than the subsidy thieves since they still from the poor masses). |
t.adeola:Do you mean Cranfield University? I am yet to get my visa and i plan to travel on the 27th, hopefully visa will be out this week |
It was in my undergraduate day, precisely 2nd year, a femal course mate that i was just playing with by dragging her hand bag off her shoulder screamed out of annoyance, "Why are you disturbing me, please stop sucking my BREAST". The entire class bursted out in laughter, I felt really ashamed despite the fact that she meant sucking her blood. |
Cranfield University, MSc. Renewable Energy Technology, awaiting my visa. I wonder why after reading all this post, no one is going to Cranfield, hmm, hope i won't be the only black man in this school. |
Wetin concern goat for aquarium, how many Nigerians do we have in barcelona, I don't care about them, they are here to milk us, they won't give anything back. I rather support Chelsea for the sake of Mikel and Wigan for the sake of Victor Moses and all other clubs where Nigerians ply their trade than to support a club that does not add anything to our economy. |
I only voted for Lagos but I think I place my bet on FCT only that it is not a State. Please remove Rivers State from that list, my state has nothing to offer for now except notice board and newspaper developments. |
It shows how ignorant the people in Government are. First of all, the Minister of State for Education did part time law in RSUST after he graduated from the College of Education in Rivers state. What was his input. I still wonder. People must know that the problem of education in Nigeria is not part time programmes but actually problem of foundation. Look at the products of our primary and secondary schools today and the crop of graduates, you will see that disconnect or gap that clearly shows that they had a poor foundation. I think what they should have done is to regularize the part time programmes and purnish erring institutions. Most of them are even doing PART TIME ONLINE degree programmes of foreign universities and none of these qualifications has been questions. If the federal government wants quality education, they should invest in quality teachers, quality infrastructure and spend more money in training and retraining of teachers. After banning part time programmes, what next? I still wonder why they have not banned NYSC that has become a waste of resource, time and energy and a liability to the nation. |
I think this country is plague with cabals and I am of the opinion that we do not have a Judicial system rather as mentioned by someone in this forum, PDP and her affiliates which includes the Judiciary. This judgment is to serve an unseen hand just as the Amaechi vs PDP judgment of 2007 is to serve an unseen hand. The Apex courts cannot be speaking from both sides of the mouth. What a shame. Sylva Vs PDP: Political Parties Have Absolute Power Over Primaries –S/Court The Supreme Court made another landmark pronouncement on Friday when it held that political parties had absolute power to determine their candidates for elections, even as it confirmed Bayelsa State Governor Seriake Dickson as the lawful governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the state. A full-panel of the court consequently dismissed an appeal by the former governor of the state, Timipre Sylva, challenging the decision of the ruling party to dump the first primary election won by him, in place of the second one won by Dickson, in presenting a candidate for the 2012 Bayelsa governorship election. In the lead judgement written by Justice Bode Rhodes-Vivour, the apex court held that no court had no jurisdiction to determine who a political party should sponsor. The same apex court had imposed Rivers State governor, Rotimi Amaechi as the lawful candidate of the PDP for the state governorship election in 2007 and sacked the party’s anointed and sitting governor, Sir Celestine Omehia. The apex court also imposed Ifenayi Araraume as the governorship candidate of PDP in Imo State, though the party had chosen Charles Ugwuh as its candidate for the 2007 governorship election. But the apex court’s panel unanimously held on Friday that it was the exclusive preserve of a political party to choose its candidates for election. Rhodes-Vivour listed other absolute rights of nominating political party to include "*The right to nominate or sponsor a candidate by a political party is a domestic right of the party. "*A member of the party has no legal right to be nominated/ sponsored. "*A court thus has no jurisdiction to determine who a political party should sponsor. |
Most guys look at the backside but I have noticed that ladies look at the zip of the trouser. That's nature too. |
Rivers State top the chat but not all the money was borrowed from the capital market. The Government borrow N130Bn from Zenith Bank and has asked the House of Assembly to permit them to borrow N250Bn from the capital market. So far, they have collected N100Bn from the capital market, hence if you add the N130Bn already owed Zenith bank, you have a total of N230Bn that Rivers State is indebted to. |
First of all, your Lawyer should have prepared a "Deed of Lease" rather than a "Tenancy Agreement". Before the lease expires, your Lawyer was supposed to give them notice according to the lease agreement but if it was a tenancy agreement, the tenant is covered even though he or she is owing rent. Under the tenancy agreement, if a tenants pays for rents in bits, it is still rent in as much as he or she has paid something. Tell your Lawyer to get an eviction notice from the court as soon as possible since he has already given them 6 months notice. You can say you want to renovate the houses, if they prove stubborn, buy three trips of chippings and four trips of sand or laterite and tip them inside the compound and in front of the gate, no one will tell them you are serious. If they still refuse to leave, get a Carpenter to pull the roofs of the building after which the doors and windows will go next. If you don't act now, they won't take you serious because your lawyer has his limits since he is just representing you. |
Even though the girl is a prostitute and slept with half of the crowd, he (as a gentleman) should have called off the wedding without any explanation. Gossips travel far and carries varieties of the story. As for me. he as stooped to the level of a heartless and insensitive man, hence his action at the wedding reception. He did not consider the embarrassment to his friends and family members |
El Guapo:I don't blame you, one day someone will joke with your father, mother or even your name in an offensive manner, then you can laugh it off. Mr. Over-literate Joker. |
One Israeli is worth 1,000 Palestinians, imagine if these 7 men were Israelis, that means that they just killed 7,000 Palestinians. Human life is worth nothing in Nigeria that's way people are killed (even innocently) and nothing happens. Naija, we hail thee, blood means nothing. @Topic, if these men were really kidnappers, i would certainly scream "good riddance to bad rubbish". Enough of this kidnapping stuff, capital punishment is the key to eliminate these non-repentant criminals. |
Where was the NUC when these Universities started admitting students? Were they sleeping? Did they not see the adverts of the Universities when the started? Are they just warning us about these institutions or just declaring them fake for the sake of press release? What will happen to the students of these institutions? I guess NUC and the Federal Ministry of Education is guilty of gross neglect of statutory duties, someone should be sacked for this neglect? As for these owners or administrators of these Universities, your days are numbered and soon you will reap the fruits of setting of a fake and fraudulent institution. |
See how we joke with the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ yet the world was not in flames. Meanwhile, a mere cartoon which depicted mohammed with a gun sparked of religious riots in many parts of the world as a result thousands were killed. I guess this poster thinks this is a joke but I don't find it funny. Abeg remove this stupid and senseless post. |
There is no rape in marriage in as much as the law is concern. Technically, it's like saying a man was raped by a woman even though it is possible, the law is silent on this issue. Lawyers in the house, hope i'm right? |
Players: They are many but I won't forgive or forget Yakubu Aiyegbeni and Sanni kaita. What about Coaches? SAMSON SIASIA should top the list. |

Lie, Lie, lie. All lies. This is just for the news for the media houses. All this is propaganda, what has voters card got to do with free health. The old policy was for children 0 - 5years of age and those at 60 or above.I am just tired of this lies and deceit. |
I didn't see Fashola anywhere inside the house, rather some camera men, are you sure it is not a hotel being commission? Hope this is not one of the propagandist in Nairaland. |
Spyker:Transfer of aggression. I know of a story in newsline some years ago when the anchor was Frank Olize, he aired the story of a man whose wife sells akara (bean balls) and the man was caught dropping his blood into the uncooked akara in a bowl, the man's defense was that someone infected him and he infected his wife even though he was not promiscuous. So, I think the girl who seduced the man did that as a form of revenge to the society that infected her and she selected her target being the guy in question. |
ponti93:That's why. She infected him deliberately rather than advising him or discourage him from the act. |
To be frank, if I were the man, i would infect at least 100 women, after all I was infected by someone but this statement is not an advise, rather a statement made out of anger. The best thing to do is to join the lady to the clinic, get her pregnant and let her bear you HIV free kids. In this way, you can live a fulfilled life with her (except he was not into any relationship with her) and your status remains anonymous. |
