Unfortunately, this is the end result when government of a state chooses to ignore the plea of her citizens. I know some animals are more equal than the others..

For the umpteenth time, I've been calling on the attention of the governor to the plight of the students even here on this forum, about the never ending loss of lives of our beloved ones, students and indegene to the everyday accident involving trailer loaded with goods.

Within the space of 4days alot of lives crossed the line to the world beyond cos the insensitivity of those in authority. Of course,they don't give a fûck cos their children are overseas schooling in one of the best school, having the best of times surrounded with the best brains in different fields of academic with tax payers money, a country with functioning systems.. while the children of the masses are to suffer the consequences a skewed, faulty educational domino effect

How do u explain three accident involving trailers within 72hrs on the same road and lives was lost too??

It's a pitiable dismal pismal
Is that not gross negligence, callousness, insensitivity at it apogee of those at the helm of affairs??

The trajectory and topography of the tarred road when descending from ikare to Akungba plays a huge role in break failure especially that of those heavy trucks

Every now and then we hear that the dualisation of the road has been approved, but I guess it happened only on paper

What is the primary duty of the government of a state?

Today's exam has been halted because students took to the street to express their grievances concerning the state of things.. may be that's the only feasible means through which the attention of Mr governor His excellency the His excellency ARAKURIN OLUWAROTMI AKEREDOLU san wound be drawn to the incessant accident that has bedevilling the region...

Put a better measures in place or come up with a better road plans for these whole shit to just stop.. just maybe that too much to ask??

I've been making my voice heard for the umpteenth time,, more of such and even worse than this will still occur since the government continue to shirk from their responsibility..
Thank God no students was involved as the students has just started their exams

This days is becoming the norm for people to witness accident scene almost every week involving trailer loaded with goods!

The road has a hilly topography when descending from ikare to Akungba which is a possible reasons while most of breaks of trucks fail,
The governor His excellency ARAKURIN OLUWAROTMI AKEREDOLU san should put measure quickly arrest this horrible occurrences, that is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
U will see trucks in convoy moving along the road

Years ago,,.. while returning from school along side my friends on a day when the sun was at it sublime blistering best..

We were living inside barracks at the time.. apparently we were gisting and walking, we ffot carried away and we didn't know when we walked past some groups of soldier men at their company (every soldiers has company each belong to)


Suddenly, we heard "hey make unah come here"..when we got to where they were sitting..the one that called us asked us why we didn't greet, but he was greeted with silence..

He then ordered us to bend like a frog and be jumping inside the hit scotching sun...


Minutes afterwards.. he asked us to leave,,,

On that day we were three in number, and one amongst us his father was a senior officer in the army...

Irked by what happened,,, he got home and report to his father...the father didn't take it lightly with the said soldier...

Him collect that day... ever since then,, everytime we walked past he just can't stop looking at us.

It's a case of not valuing what one has..

The behaviour of the okada riders along the Akungba-ikare road is nothing to write home about,,,
One can hardly walk along the road without looking your side every Milli second, for fear of being victims of the recklessness which is the all Mark of this okada riders

I don't support jungle justice....However,I wouldn't have batted an ayes lid if such treatment was meted out to the Dangote truck who lost control and took out shops along the road beside the school gate leaving people children, wifes husband friends dead in it wake..

Till date, nothing was done in any capacity with regards to compensating those families who lost their beloved ones..it's saddening

Thank God it wasn't around the school axis..


The accident involving Dangote trailer where it rammed into shops by the road side, Just few meters away from the main school gate, prompting the school management to shot down the main gate leading to the school premises till date sometime ago, where lives were lost including that of the immediate past SUG president (pka sampraise RIP) at the time is still very much fresh in our minds.



Accident of this nature involving trailer loaded with goods are very much rampant along that federal roads,,,..

What a potable pisma dismal

One can barely count three to four months without accident involving this big lorries along that road, with loss of love ones, friends, colleague.

Unless the governor (His excellency ARAKURIN OLUWAROTMI AKEREDOLU san) and other stake holders steps in to address and arrest these horrible occurrences that has been bedevilling the indegene and students populace for years.,..

Nah because pesin dey manage food due to school life

Back in the days inside the barracks, our usual venue for seeing football matches

both on weekdays and weekends was soldiers canteen...

Banters flying here and there was the usual custom then..as a barrack boy u gat comport yourself, u fit do oo...but no do pass your self

The canteen was meant for only non commission officer (other ranks)

When a sergeant walks in and sees a junior officer, he would order the junior officer to give way from the limited seats for him to seat

Sometimes, arguments would breakout during the course of the match between a senior and a junior officer and the senior would order the arrest of the junior officer to be taken the guard room... imagine just football banters oo


One day we were all seated watching and enjoying a football match being played one Saturday..


It was night already, while everyone was engrossed and glued to the TV set,, suddenly the electric cable wire that brought current into the canteen started bringing what looks like fire and smoke ...

Omo come see as solders and barrack boys dey fly chair's and benches like we were being attacked by boko-boys
Before you know everywhere don empty..

It wase few minutes later, everyone started regrouping , laughing each other

I know fit forget that day quickly... till date, me and my friend would reminisce about that incident we would burst into laughter

We be like...we think sey solder man no dey fear nah

Money just pick my call biko...
