Op, I think she is just ashamed of herself and her actions. She practical gave herself to you on your first meeting and you rejected her offer . That's a good one on your part, what sort of a. girl gives herself to a guy like that. |
Things fall apart Man of the people Arrows of the gods No longer ease Chike and river Read years back as a teenager in secondary. Some I read 2 or 3 times. Truly reading has been destroyed. I find it difficult now reading through there was a country, not with all the time spent on nairaland and other sites. RIP Prof Achebe |
Please Nairalands beware, scammers are at it again. NCC has banned all promos by communication networks. I got this text message from the number +2348101650741 "MTN! Appreciate your patronage as you have won 27kva mikano Gen and 22000mtn recharge card. For details contact promo manager on 08105109792 MTN." I was suspicious but wanting to find out more I called the number, the man on the line introduced himself as Michael Adebayo, Promo manager MTN. He explained the whole promo as being about MTN's 12years anniversary. I asked how I could get my prize,of course knowing that I would not part with a dime or fall for anything. He said I have load 3000 MTN credit with a different code (x444x22000xpin no) to get a 25000 credit and a winning code to retrieve my winning from any MTN office close to me. I can not confirm any such promo, and why do I have recharge 3000 MTN credit using a different code. Apparently, some other people have received the similar text messages from different numbers about different prizes. 3k is too precious to dash to scammers. |
Power sweet o, this GEJ is so desperate to reman in office. We are yet to see why Alamiesigha was pardoned. GEJ don dey play politics fa. Okay 2015 wIll tell |
These politicians can never admit they are wrong, always foolishly defending their actions.. SMH. For goodNess sake, there are several Akwa Ibom daughters who wed every now and then, why does he not go dashing car gifts to them? Two people decide to hold their wedding in Dubai, a governor wants to use state funds to sponsor people to the wedding. And he is defending himself, when are we ever going to get it right and hold our leaders accountable in this country. |
Happy birthday to Chioma Chukwuka |
I admire Joe Odumaikin a lot, its an award well deserved. I wish we had many more of her type in Nigeria. |
You deserve the glory and the honour, Lord I lift my voice in worship as I praise your Holy Name For You are great, You do miracles so great, There is no one else like you.. |
My husband leads most times. I occasionally, but everyone has a role to play. |
So many favourite scriptures, but for this season: " for with God, nothing shall be impossible" LK 1:37 |
So..how are they different from the kidnap suspect? |
confusion247: Then after the discussion what next? Where were them when IBB openly stole 12 billion dollars? Where were them when OBJ spend 16 billion dollars on phantom power project? Was it not the same obama that was congratulating Jonathan as a good leader? hypocrites.Come on, so because IBB stole and OBJ stole, the stealing should continue. BTW, was GEJ's name mentioned in the G8 statement as the one responsible for the wastage? Minister of defence for GEJ's administration.SMH |
This UKBA sef! This boy has spent has spent 14 formative years of his life in UK and they could not allow him to stay. How did he get to the UK at age 7? Who does he know in Nigeria? The boy is practically British, they have finally pushed him to his death. |
jmoore: why waste your time on something you do not believe in? smhI wonder! Really if you don't believe in the existence of God, that is your own cup of tea. Your unbelief does not change the truth of God's word which I and several others believe. All the efforts by logicboy and co to discredit the bible never cease to amaze me. Why don't you keep your lack of belief to yourselves and ignore those that believe, the last time I checked there is still freedom of worship. Why waste so much time and effort on what you don't believe in? The spirit of anti-Christ at work I guess. |
^^^ That is why school zones, pedestrian lanes, work and residential areas etc have <15mph + STOP signs. A lot of drivers need to learn defensive driving, because most are offensive leading to the death of pedestrians. I once listened on the radio - DC DOT stated in their campaign that driving at very slow speed saves life. They said, if you're traveling at 25mph or less and you hit someone, that person has a 85% chance of living, and most likely with injuries, but if you hit someone while traveling at 45mph or more, that person has a 20% chance of living with possible scenario - DEATH. Thank you. The woman was definitely overspeeding , and she is a learner. Unfortunately the corper is gone forever. |
This quota thing has always been, its just to encouraged educationally diSadvantaged states. Even when i got admission over 15years ago a federal university in my state, some states had lower JAMB cut-off scores than others based on the general performance. |
Happy birthday to Pastor Chris, I am not a member of Christ Embassy but his teachings have greatly impacted on me. Everybody is free to express themselves and say any rubbish they want to say about men of God, but those who are listening to them teach and preach, know how much they have been blessed. This does not in anyway mean they are worshiping these men. If its so easy to pull crowds and deceive people all over the world, I wonder why some critiques on nairaland have not started their own ministry, abi una want jet and millions? |
montero4relo: Can one still be able to retain his or her airtime after recharging MTN n switching back to ETISALAT?You are supposed to use up every credit on your former network before the number is transfered, otherwise it will be gone. |
Is the mobile number portability for real? I have been waiting and praying for this, I am finally going to ditch mtn. Can't wait..hahaha Glo/ etisalat here I come. |
Just another conduit to waste resources. By this time 2013, nothing much would be in place at this airport. Why does n't he just complete the east-west road so that it will be easy for Bayelsans to travel to port Harcourt airport. |
Imagine the psychological trauma those kids are going to have growing up and going to school, showing off 2 men as their parents to friends and schoolmates. |
Oh so nice... |
All I can say is that I don't know of any of my collegues who left Nigeria for the US to practise that has not successfully completed their training and are doing well on their job. Infact, most of them passed their USMLE with very high grades. While I am not saying that every Nigeria trained doctor is a genius, but it goes to let us know that we are GOOD. The only diFference is technology. We are trained tHe hard way here, I have also had the opportunity of getting training outside the country and I tell you I understand why the average Nigeria excels in the schools there. |
Amnesty for terrorists after all the innocent blood they have shed.. Tomorrow they will tell us they have budgeted billions for these terrorists. Then some top officials will use the opportunity to make more millions, on the blood of innocent Nigerians. Where in the world do they reward terrorists with money. God help us, I pity for anyone who has lost a relation to BH. This GEJ admnistration just sucks.. |
I really don't see anything wrong with wearing shoes into the house, except the host personally does n't want it. The shoes can cleaned on the footmat before entering the house. |
How would this affect the prolonged fuel scarcity we've experiencing? |
I was planning to get an ipad and also moving from BB to samsung galaxyIII, but to reduce cost was contemplating on getting the note 2 instead since its between a tablet and a phone while still retaining my BB. For those who are using the note 2, what do you think? Can it really suffice as a tablet? |
Gabriel_sylar: All men are dogs but some are more doggy than other....all dis boys on nairaland any post about women is derailed to s...ex....money ..se..x,food se..x,career se...x,religion se..x once a woman opinion is sought on an issue some wackos are already d..ck watering and talking of se..x hava se...x starved nairalnders control urself ..dis is why ladies run from treads like dis cos some porcupines will make dem feel cheap....a woman says she cooked for her man and one laytsma was saying the guy ate the food and hammered her wella...haba that's derogatoryMy thoughts exactly. It is so disgusting, I wonder what manner of people are on NL these days. |
Confilass: I was about withdrawing my son dat just change School because of d teacher's behaviour. He's just 4yrs old, joined dem in Grade 1 but I was told he couldn't read and each time d teacher will say ur suppose to be in Nursery 2 instead of encouraging him dat he can make it.You can't really blame the teacher, a four year old is too young to be grade 1. It is definitely going to be difficult for the teacher, there is a whole lot of difference between a four year old and a six year old which is the ideal age for grade 1 |
"Tithing as it is now is a law of moses of the old religion which was changed by Jesus Christ, practicing it is practicing the old religion, we were saved be Christ, we follow him in all his ways, we want to be like him, so why don't we follow the new rules he laid down for us,our pastors know that the religion of tithing died when Jesus came,we should live by the new testament." Abrahim paid tithe, Abraham was before the Law. Jacob paid tithe, Jacob was before the law. We that are of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham, and we are his spiritual seeds. Jesus talking about tithe and the weightier matters of mercy and judgement, said we ought to obey one without leaving the other undone. |
