Please I want to quickly go for a 1 year executive MBA (possibly less than a year). I am thinking of UK or Canada. I do not intend to stay.

Due to the degree of urgency, (cos I need it to qualify for a leadership role at my present place of work) I want to apply to schools in the UK and Canada.

My thought is, I will process both Visas at the same time.

I trust applying for both Visas at the same time wouldn't lead to delay or disqualification?

During my undergraduate days, there was this fancy restaurant that the big guys and babes usually had lunch. For the brokers we have our corner.

A plate of food was around N900 with a bottle of soft drink. Back in 2008 this was the amount i spend on three different pot of soups after resolving my stipend into partial fraction.

Whenever I walk past the restaurant, I couldn't help but stare at the big boys trooping in and out of the restaurant. A friend once said they serve full turkey wings.

Recently, a former classmate was defending his PhD thesis and pleaded for me to be there. After the brilliant defense, I wanted to quickly drive back to the hotel and pack my stuffs so that I can hit the road that afternoon.

As I was driving, I remembered the restaurant, I smiled. As I sat down and made my order, I reminisced about my undergraduate days. As I was having lunch upstairs I looked out the window where I parked and it occurred to me that I was driving same car I was drooling over in 2014. That was the car my line manager bought to celebrate his 38th birthday. I became teary and I thanked God.

Let us take it easy and enjoy every moment we have. Every moment is important.

I have this piece of advice to share with young ladies. Never forget where you are coming from and do not over estimate your self worth. Just because someone from the office is giving you a lift home or someone from the office is footing your expensive lunch bill then you begin to think that is reality and your boyfriend should keep up with the standard.

A close friend travelled to east for an assignment and he met this beautiful lady ( I love pretty ladies too). Let me cut to the chase, they started dating. A couple of times, my friend invited her to my apartment and we will have dinner together (my wife inclusive).

My friend being a spendthrift, takes overtly good care of this lady. Flight to and fro from Lagos. Expensive gifts and all. The lady works in a MFB in the east and she is from a humble home (according to what I saw when my friend and I visited).

The thing is, good life is good. Only that ensure you are making your own money so that you don't have a big fall. This lady resigned/got fired from her job board a flight to Lagos and got an apartment all expense paid by the boyfriend.

Unfortunately my friend's parent did not approve of the lady. There was a bit of drama but He succumbed; cos his family was his source of wealth. He has relocated abroad after the whole issue.

I saw this lady few days ago at a popular market close to the estate where I reside She has a store where she sell stuffs but she has changed.

Finally I will advise my daughter to take this advice: Attain a standard yourself before you set that standard for your partner.

All other RMs disliked him. There was this lady that said over her dead body she can never date a guy like this. Today they have 2 kids. When I joined another industry, same scenario played out. The Head of sales (very crafty fellow) was a jerk and a lady once said the guy will be the last person on earth she would have as an acquaintance.
