The hypocrisy stinks Stop thinking like a kid, Nobody is nudging anyone, the Ukrainians have a right to exist and join whatever organisation they deem fit. All Ukrainians are in full support of the war. People die in war and Russians have done both first and second mobilisations. That means everyone is taking in the heat in the battlefield |

I heard they're even begging Romania to stop filming their destruction from their border.
Ukraine a sacrificial lamb in a chess pieces between two nation afraid of facing each other... If Stalin had given up due to the German onslaught, there will be no Russia today. We all die , and whatever destroyed can be rebuilt |

So it's advised that once you hit a free highway, wind down your window a bit that the rushing wind might alert you somehow of your speed. what about your speedometer? |

Abufo: Oga ...go and see the same claim I made on frontpage on nairaland, In the early 2000s I used to run the Dubai route from lagos for computer parts with my brothers.....we were in the air every other week..........one of our banker friends was always on the Ethipian airlines flight to dubai every weekend for over 1 year..........what was he doing? he was roud tripping Travellers cheques for his bank branch and he was not the only one from that cash rich branch! So I know what I am saying! The naira maybe weak but the naira is not as worthless as 950 naira....thaere is massive speculation going on nah................it takes 2 parties to create a market...now run along and go fill in the blanks! let us not dabble much on this I thought you had dealings at the head office, you see nothing happens in a bank branch. That is not where the FX players are. However do not mislead people, let the government take care of their mess, leave the banks alone |

Abufo: you must be a banker.........so you do not know banks and other speculators are having a field day with the gap between the two rates of the naira/dollar! if you do not understand this then you cannot be helped! You have not said anything, you made a claim or should I say an assumption, then I queried that you should state emphatically the premise on which your claim was made. Don't shift the goal post by adding speculators, I only want to know how the banks are responsible |

Eriokanmi: A very bad idea. Even those hailing the move at start are now wailing . They were thinking naira would never exceed 650 naira at the I&E window. Those who gave tinubu that idea simpy wanted him tp fail. Now, they've succeeded.
There's no way both cost-push and demand-pull inflation won't keep rising. How can the local industry grow with this bad policy? Local industries too dey buy materials for abroad nah. No be everything dem dey get locally. Every cost incurred would be incorporated into the cost of product per unit. Its a very bad move by tinubu. We're beginning to spend like those in the west, when the standard of living isn't relative. Your last sentence has depth... |

Typing: Another lies from Okoro. There are more rich people in the North compared to South. And due to the population in the North, there are also more poor people in the North compared to South. Northerners no dey make mouth or flaunt wealth, that's why you think they are poor. There is something called "Standard of living" you might have a billion in your account and still have a low or poor standard of living; For example if you do not have good schools around, access to quality doctors and medical care, access to electricity and quality education, access to the Internet and modern facilities. It doesn't matter if the North has 20 billionaires and the South has none, it is the presence of these amenities/facilities that drives up wages, and your ability to utilitize these amenities/facilities that raises your standard of living. The North runs an elitist system and I have seen an mega rich Alahajis, whose daughters were married of at 14 without completing high school, and the closest private school to him is a 115km away. He has money but not a good standard of living. I could educate you further if you wish to know the difference. |

I can categorically tell you that the water 💦 is not safe for consumption, you hardly see Nafdac officials in North sealing up water companies for non compliance. Salaries are higher in the southern part compared to the North. The Quality of life also is better. |

An average Northern sellers is not looking for too much profit. Stop acting funny the Northern part has a low standard of living compared to the south, hence things will naturally be cheaper. If you increase the prices in the North, where is the money to buy? Northerners can trek hundred of kilometers if the price of transportation goes beyond their means, have you trekked for 10kms in your life? We should be spending our money on research on home or locally made drowns. This is what happens if you don't want to modernise our military. Our resources should be more on our airforce than anything. Work smart not work hard these days, but in this case if you work hard you won't survive the only people that survive are those that work smart. if you know nothing about military just Skip rather than display ignorance. So you will use drone to occupy enemy positions?? or drone will cover your infantry during an offensive? or drone will fire artilleries to repel an offensive? 🦜 |

Will all Lagosians live above the poverty line after Tinubu's tenure? Niger state produced Babaginda and Abubakar yet you cannot compare Niger with Ondo in terms of development and Human capacity. So what is power without utilisation? Northern region has been in power from 1967-1999 what did they achieve with it? Are they better of than the average southerner in terms of education, standard of living, Human development and Human capacity?
