TV/MoviesRe: TSTV Loses Office Due To Debt - Premium Times by Stan2330(m): 8:23am On Jun 10, 2020
winterfell007:
That TSTV has been fraudulent right from the first start, trying to tap an exclusive sport content from the Arab nation and streaming it live to the Nigerian viewers when you were aware that it's only DSTV through "Supersport" that got the exclusive right to air thier sport channel to sub-saharan African. Instead of them the code thier fraudulent act, they started making undue noise up and down.
If you go to places like Aba, Onitsha and Portharcourt, they are companies that stream live sport contents from the arab nations to thier viewers here and those viewers pay a fee for that. This has been ongoing for years without much noise because they know it's illegal to tap an channel that's got exclusive rights.
Anyway, the manger no get sense. DSTV kon use am chop better money for lawsuit...
oga they have closed down those companies o

E pain me no be small

Dstv is are one of the mafioso behind the death of this TSTV company. They are after all pay Tv satellites in Nigeria just to insure the monopolies the market. They are shorting down all CTL offices who are there biggest rivals in the south south with the collaboration of Nigerian govt, some state law makers using SSS and police. CTL are the only indigenous pay TV that shows all the 5 top leagues in the world all FA cups and all carlin cup of all the top 5 leagues and all champion league games along with ABG satellite. The owner of ABG is a northerner from KANO, a cronies of the cabal in the seat of power which is why ABG is waxing stronger in the northern part of the country and cannot be brought down by Dstv.its competing side by side with Dstv in abuja and most northern States . In the case of CTL he is an igbo man. Benin, port stations have been short down, reason is they are showing Dstv programs,Z word and telemondo, two most useless TV series as far as guys are consign no offense to our ladies . All there sport channels are Arab commentaries with the exception of few which are broadcast in English mostly weekends . There movie channels,mbc2,mbc action, etc. A very robust satellite Tv service ,affordable as low as 3k monthly subscriptions 7k for 3 month .Dstv with black belle short them down. This country is a mess. Our leaders, law makers are only after what them and there cronies families can benefit, if not tell me why a foreign company, south Africa zanophobic vagabonds will be playing gods in Nigeria by frustrating and shorting down indigenous sat Tv companies with the help of the same law markers.
this is true
if u can't afford DStv, no hope of watching football again...they've shut down every means available in the south

HealthRe: Share Your Embarrassing Moments With The Doctor by Stan2330(m): 10:01pm On Jun 04, 2020
TONYE001:
1Sharon, I don't know if you are a medical doctor or not. If you are a doctor, I doubt you're practicing in Nigeria.

Right from medschool, student doctors are taught how to "twist some questions..."

This is just because of our environment. There are smokers that answer in the negative if asked directly whether they smoke. There are people that outrightly say they aren't sexually active even if they are. There are folks that gulp large quantities of alcohol but deny they drink when asked. This list is endless.

So, overtime, Nigerian doctors have learnt how to be indirect in their questions. Recall, they go through all this stress FOR THE PATIENT'S BENEFIT, not theirs.

It's painful when the outside world accuses MOST NIGERIAN DOCTORS that they're perverts. The sad truth is, doctors would gladly stay away from sex-related questions and examinations if there were alternatives!

Doctors don't look forward to see a woman's privates. I assure you, most times, it's not funny what is seen down there. Some doctors are even embarrassed asking sex-related questions. See, doctors are doing these stuffs at their own inconvenience...

Let's not propagate this misinformation to the general public. It's tiring reading all these attacks on doctors.
A CHIEF, I STAN!!

PoliticsRe: Senate Considers Reversal Of Power Privatisation by Stan2330(m): 8:04am On May 20, 2020
handie:
Seriously, the privatisation of the power sector has failed in all it's entirety. While the immediate past president can and should be blamed for his handling of the process (He virtually handed over a sector as critical as electricity to friends and cronies without considering their capacity to deliver), it goes further than that. Honestly, the privatisation should be reversed, a new and comprehensive plan that'd involve a total deregulation of the sector with both generation and distribution in the hands of competent private entities who would be selected by a transparent and credible process with the government only playing a regulatory role through the BEDC. Alas, I know the above won't happen. D senate are most probably bringing this up cause they want a settlement from the Discos. Nigeria's ruling elites cannot be this selfless..... Not when Mikano generators are still in the market
Nice idea but burahi can't solve Nigeria electricity problem..... let's just forget about it until after 2023

gwafaeziokwu:
You are not smart at all. Who is debating Awolowo release with you.

Gowon not Ojukwu set the ball rolling for a final showdown with the east.

First he was not the most senior officer , Ogundipe cowardly abdicated his responsibility in a typical Afonja manner.

He could not give nor enforce simple order to stop the pogrom that lasted for 5 whole months. 30,000 Igbo civilians died in the north and other parts of Nigeria because Gowon could not bring the military under control. He was incompetent.

He watched on as Igbo officers were rounded up and killed in all the barracks in Nigeria by blood thirsty Northern officers. That was when our military died.

For months he refused to support the eastern region who were facing humongous humanitarian crisis resulting from mass return of Ndigbo majority of who were injured or dying.

There was no pretense of leadership from him, Ojukwu was all alone trying to calm his people, believing that a solution will be at hand.

Aburi presented an opportunity to settle every issue and return to Nigeria to path of progress. Ojukwu came prepared but puppet Gowon came to such historic meeting without any official government position. Later on he will tell the press that he thought it was about chatting and laughing with the Igbos ( how dumb). 30,000 civilians are dead and you expected Ojukwu to join your jamboree?

Finally, did they agree on terms? yes! Who broke the Aburi accord Gowon. Then to rub it in he decided to divide Ojukwu domain into 2 states, in what will prove the final straw in the long list of provocations.

I took my time to write this so that people you are meant to deceive will get full gist.
Till tomorrow, I still thank God that Gowon is alive to witness the result of his bad governance on his ppl... The choices we make now may not affect us directly, but it must surely tell on our children

LegendHero:
In all this, rather than face the North that caused the misfortune on Igbos during those dark time, you guys will be blaming the Yorubas.

You ganged up and killed Western region premier and other Yoruba top military guys. The North retaliated and massacred a lot in their domain while the Yorubas chose not to do that. You Igbos were safe in the west during those period but YET Yoruba is your enemy.

Col. Banjo fought for Biafra and led the advance that captured mid-west. Just because he was not able to advance through Ore axis, Ojukwu had to frame him up and ended his life. Yet Yoruba is the enemy.

After the war, the people you call brothers in Port-Hacort seized your houses while the Yorubas in the West gave you back your properties and even collected some of the house rent and gave it to the owners after the war. Yet, Yoruba is the enemy.

Hear this, the time of being politically correct has ended and the Yorubas will no more care about other people feeling. I don’t care what happened in that war and I will still say Ojukwu did not plan well before declaring that war. Even if the war is inevitable, he should at least plan well and gather the required alliance and supplies to prosecute that war. Rather he resorted to chest beating and telling the international press that he will crush Nigeria in few month. The same fake boasting the Igbos always do till now.

Why will a leader use propaganda to lead his people to the slaughterhouse? His strategy is wack. He depended on the stolen Nigeria pounds and he forgot the fact that the Nigeria side can change their currency. After that, he failed to secure a route for food for his people knowing well that the SE can’t feed itself in that war. He willingly kill his people coz of ego.

It got to a point where Azikwe has to severe ties with him and even started calling Ojukwu a rebel in the international press. Coz the young Ojukwu was busy wasting the life of his brethren in a war that was already lost. He later ran off after all those atrocities and still came to contest for the presidential election of a nation he fought against. Where is the honor in that?
I see sense in ur post. The yoruba are not the enemy of igbo instead they have been the unrecognized backbone....if the igbos want to blame, they should blame the SS and the north.... unfortunately, nnamdi kanu is following the same path of insulting the yoruba with his useless chest beating..
For me, the only way Biafra can be realized is forming ally with the yoruba outside that he is just chasing wind

This too shall pass, meanwhile, in other news, a 15-member medical team from China has arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, despite the NMA warnings/protest.
It's no-longer a hidden truth that Nigerian leaders and top politicians are alergic to been checked and treated by Nigerian trained doctors in Nigeria under-equipped hospitals and clinics, and
since they can no longer travel to the West for medical treatment or check- up, they decided to use tax-payers money to import anyone (doctors) with White or yellow skin as an alternative to treat any one of them that's alredy down with the virus or will be down with it. Despite the NMA warnings/protest against inviting foreign doctors, they still went ahead and do whatever pleases them by brushing NMA warnings aside like it's a warning coming from rabbits catchers association, showing high level of Public disrespect for the NMA for all Nigerians to see. This pandemic should be an eye opener for all well meaning Nigerians, we don't have leaders, all we have are blockhead, nincompoops, buffoon, dunce, dolt, Ignoramus, cretin, slowpoke and ninny chump entities we called leaders, Revolution will start during this pandemic, mark my words

Greatzeus:
You are wrong sir. You are very wrong, which is not the problem. The problem I have is that you as an educated person thinks that it's possible for your new subscription (60gb) to start reading from the last subscription you made and consumed(15gb.)
Bros it is technologically impossible, unless it is programmed to be like that. Which will mean it is so for all Glo subscribers,or you want to tell me Glo decided to reprogrammed only your own SIM to work like that.
Everything is computerised. Apart from daily logistics,if every Glo staff go home for a week everything will still be working fine. Everything done on your SIM, subscription, buying credits, call rate etc has been programmed. It cannot do otherwise. The call rate cannot change unless it is reprogrammed, the data consumption rate is programmed which is the same for everybody. Computer doesn't make mistakes bro.
This your assertion is stupid, your new subscription started reading from the last subscription you did. I have never heard that before.
We all know how our subscription can get depleted so fast we will be wondering how. We think telecoms are cheating us. Maybe yes or no,but I know that the standard is the same for everyone, every sim everytime.m
You probably want attention for your 60gb subscription which you have gotten. You can let us rest now.
Oboy leave hard drugs...my 2 cents
