Politics › Re: Goodluck Jonathan Was An Exceptional President by Standing5(m): 10:28am On Dec 15, 2015
GEJ was an ineffecient president. If you keep buying an item of N50 for N200 when it can be gotten for N70(sellers profit inclusive) then your procurement process or system is ineffecient. It may exist but is ineffecient. GEJ was ineffecient in management of what he decided to do and grossly corrupt to the effect he could attempt little. In system analysis that little X few = poor. No justification for his flaws.

stop the balme game..arent u tired of it?
people buy dead companies and resurrect it..if you cant do the job then resign and let others who have something upstairs do it
when you were applying to be president you told us it was to rescue ...so why all these moans , wailing and cries ....it signs of failure..
if you are overwhlemed, then back off...period
You fùcked up again. People may buy dead company and ressurect but do not buy & ressurect market conditions.

Warped! Transaction currency risks is a two way thing. You don't get. Selling in foreign where naira is weak is a plus it when buying with a weak naira that we are on the receiving end. Do the maths and see d net difference. That is why selling countries like Japan and China with weak currencies are still best economies!
Stop being half smart and don't try to copy & paste my own ideas as ur argument. The government sells to open intl market and you buy indirectly from same intl market via local marketers who are constantly changing the accrued Naira to Dollars.

I suggest you better look for another job elsewhere because if this is how your boss reason, you people may close shop sooner than you think.
Ministers appointed and doing their work and someone is saying Nigeria closing shop.
Oil vessels are on the high sea with extremely little buyers and add the fact that the oil price is down, yet you boss thinks getting stolen funds (in billions of dollars) to beef up the country's financial strength is a waste of energy.
Are the ministers not working? The other day Fashola gave a presentation just as the minister of finance is embarking on an ambitious revenue drive
Pls help tell 'em wailers oh. What the 'ficticious agbero' boss is saying is if he has a business and the OP decides to steal a huge chunk of what constitute his business capital and assets, he, the boss will simply carry on without raising alarm or chasing him even in the face of an unfavourable market condition. Pls help tell those wailer more.

warped! We are not buying crude we sell so the naira depreciation favours that while the importation of refined products, cancels out the transaction currency gains though a next gain is expected as we sell more than we buy. Overall, the restriction on forex has not been working as naira continue to fall even as reserve falls!
Chanji is just a scam. The streets ain't Smiling sooner the chant will be change baba!
Your ignorance is legendary. The govt earns the dollar from crude sold and not you the end user per se. The marketers you indirectly buy from take ur accrued Naira and change it at N260/$ as against N165/$ because they buy it outside Nigeria. Get it? Summary is, for importation of crude, any reduction in prices from around $100 to $37 is negated by Naira devaluation and the flat fee ( constant cost of production et al) involved while exportation of same crude by FG means more naira value to obtain services from you and I.
Politics › Re: Fuel Subsidy To Go Next Year. FG To Sell Petrol At 97 by Standing5(m):
A dwindling Naira value has pushed fuel prices up in local market. Imagine the diff when 1$ changed for N165 and N260 that's some 35% increase as against some ~40% decrease intl oil prices. PDP really fùcked things up.

to the guy below, Subsidy didn't exhist technically. Buhari never meant subsidy isn't in existence. It wasn't logical to carry on with it. Marketters were stealing from it and the same govt who put the marketers into relevance couldn't manage their excesses. Buhari was right.

Politics › Re: Nigeria At 56 - The Real Problem With Nigeria Is Not Corruption, Stupidity Is. by Standing5(m): 6:17am On Dec 15, 2015
Brilliant inference there. Though corruption exist stupidity takes it to another level. In Russia for example, they are planning to start producing a higher percentage of what the consume in order to cushion the effects of dwindling oil income. They know that producing their needs locally will keep their monies in Russia and boost their economy fastest, but in Nigeria we know same fact but dare not try to produce our needs locally. Stupidity appears inherently there in Nigeria's case.

Tompolo should just come and explain to exceed that this is the land and buildings and this is the receipt.
Datz all
That's the difference between public and private system that shows how deep corruption runs in our public system. If covenant uni as a whole school could hardly exceed few ten of billions Naira in building costs, I wonder how the government is able to construct theirs some 20 to 35 times the cost for private. I can't wait for the recently concieved efficiency unit under Buhari's admin to start putting out benchmark cost for project with predictable scope. Even things like building can be assessed by estate values to know it potential cost of completion n see if contract value of a building if fair.
With integrity i know Buhari will easily dwarf Other administrations in acheivements and strengthening of public institution and trust.

Death penalty for Looters? Why not.
The goats were trusted with yams which they av eaten some n hidden most. I think the goat should be made to regurgitate the undigested yams(cars, houses) and return the hidden yams. In all i accept that the goats will be stubborn, so i may never agree to take the real yam owner to the hidden yam. God give us understanding.

What the 'ficticious agbero' boss is saying is if he has a business and the OP decides to steal a huge chunk of what constitute his business capital and assets, he, the boss will simply carry on without raising much alarm or chasing him even in the face of an unfavourable market condition that crippling his current business operation. Pls use your sense, GEJ should defend himself and not one liar giving us fable.
Maybe we should invite PDP and Gej to come tell Buhari how to do it with oyel selling at $30+/barrel. Of course the economy was going to have a false feel of it bloosoming with the way GEJ shared monies. If i was a market trader selling clothes aso oke, aso ebi, food stuff, shoes, decoration, doing sovenirs, or service provider renting out halls, doing its decor, handling events, i will probably say Jonathan handled things better because corruption proceeds like those $250k(N50) he shared to kings b4 election trickled down to the market people i mentioned, but knowing what i know, i tell you Buhari is easily 5-6 times better.
Politics › Re: We No Longer Understand The Change We Voted For by Standing5(m): 6:52am On Dec 13, 2015
I expect u not to. Before Change took charge, dollar was speculated to hit N260 in june but changed postponed that by 6 months even factor such us oil prices used in arriving at that prediction has since nosedived for the worse. PDP was planning to double taxes, sell NNPC and stop amnesty with anticipated oil sales at $55/b, Change came on board and averted all of that with same oil selling for $37/b and poised to go down even further. I you have a good heart towards politics/economic analysis, Change is all you should be seeing.

As of March, the value of dollar was speculated to hit around 260 Naira by June/July. So if it is just hitting N260 your brain should tell your Buhari was able to push the D-day forward some 5 months and that's no mean feat given that the factor used in predicting those value has since changed for worse.
