Lol your hopeless interconnection means grid. It says 3 interconnections. The second link says so. Now stop clowing. The east and west grid also connect to parts of Canada btw. Quebec has its own grid. Now stop clowning. You already lost. If your asking what a grid is you have no business lecturing.

power grids or “interconnections

Office of Electricity Delivery and Energy Reliability is helping to strengthen the capabilities for long-term analysis and planning in the three interconnections serving the lower 48 United States.

"In each interconnection, the awardees are establishing an open, transparent, and collaborative process involving participants from industry, federal and state governments, and non-governmental organizations. In each interconnection, a diversified steering committee – including at least 1/3 representation from the states – is developing consensus scenarios for future electricity supplies and analyzing environmental and other considerations that will be incorporated into transmission plans."

Well if you now want to make that point fine. What you did say was all countries have ONE GRID do you accept that is not true?

As far as Nigeria is concerned I asked you why we cannot have 4 or 6 why MUST we have one in fact I highlighted the "WHY" you were not forthcoming. I have not argued that we cannot have only one I asked why MUST we have only one. We have peculiar security challenges and difficult terrain especially in the Niger Delta so you convince us why we MUST have only one grid.
How can I accept your skewed lies? Canada is not US simple . . . Stop lying to urself.

I am not trying to "weaken" his argument just subject it to scrutiny. I asked if there is a Divine law that we must have one grid.
I ask
Why must we have one grid? and he says

Which I have thoroughly debunked. Do not forget I also said

So in reality we have not ARGUED that reasoning at all though I did mention size ,it is not the only consideration,I mentioned security maybe that escaped you and I mentioned terrain but since he has not attempted to debate those points I left them unless you are him pretending to be someone else, The truth is he has not made the argument of size that you are crediting him with but if he did my point was never that we could not have one grid but with his argument that WE MUST AND THAT IS THE ONLY SENSIBLE WAY.

That was his argument if you comprehended what you have been reading

Texas built it's own grid because it was suffering from black outs and bow outs during time period.

USA uses one single power grid. Google it up yourself.
If you understand power systems up to 10%, you will know why every nation seeks to make his or her power grid as big as possible and thus remain interconnected.
From a generating company's perspective, a large power grid gives room for wider reach to customers. From distribution perspective, it reduces redundancy. And finally from a consumer or customer perspective, it improves competition between power gencos, and improves reliability greatly. Your level of ignorance indicates you are a customer. If you know jack about power system and have been observing for some years now, you will realize that consumers who have green source (solar and wind) are allowed to sell their excess power back into the grid. What this means is that if you succed in selling back some power into the power grid it reads your meter value backward/down or store the total power sold for those who don't depend on power inflow from the national grid any longer.

How do transformers minimize the power loss occasioned by transmitting power over long distances. The power is lost as heat energy as the temperature of the cables are raised over several kilometres

Where do you get that rubbish from?
You appear unable to comprehend what you are googling so I will pity you and enlighten you a bit.
Let me start with the transformer question. It boils down to eddy-current loss. It is a loss that proportional to current flowing through a conductor(transmission line). The work of transformer is to help increase or decrease voltage and in exchange for decrease or increase in current accordingly (i.e transform the power).
Power = Voltage X Current. There are stepdown transformers and stepup transformer to increase and decrease voltage respectively.
With all due respect sir, you are the one saying rubbish.

Debts owed by states are in multiple categories: foreign debt, domestic debt, CBN bailout funds and the Budget Support Facility arranged for them by the Federal Govt.

Also, Rauf Aregbesola of Osun State promised to turn the state into a commercial hub when he was campaigning for office around 2007.

About a year into his administration, he told reporters that he would never wait for monthly allocation from Abuja to settle wage bill.

Presently and despite huge potentials of the state in terms of agriculture, mineral and human resources, civil servants are being paid half salaries which are not even paid up to date.

According to investigation, the state owes N203,151,879,799.5 without the running budget support facility.
