CelebritiesHow Christopher & Wendy Idowu Are Making It A Hard World For Tboss To Live In by stane007(op): 12:56pm On Apr 21, 2017
Back at the house, series of events unfolded, some negatively graced the Internet, the media went into a frenzy, actions were misinterpreted whenever the 2nd runner up of the Big Brother Naija 2017, Tboss Idowu comes up in the news.

Actions were blamed on her, she was accused of witchcraft, BBN rigging intent, contempt was on her. It can be recalled that she rarely graced the Internet for the right reasons, if not that she failed to recite the National anthem then it could be because evictions were blamed on her.
What message am I trying to convey, the HATE on her was/is much.

A lot of people refused to campaign for her, not because she wasn't worth their campaign but just because she wasn't on their liking radar. This apparently saw to it that the 'boss lady' never smelt the trophy nor 1st runner place, a popular celebrity said she was hated because of her skin colour.

One of the reasons Tboss did not clinch the trophy I think is the fact that those who campaigned for her were a bit rude, silly in some aspect, her sister Wendy being an example.

Recall that Nigerians dragged her for saying they(Idowus) suffered racism while growing up both in Nigeria and Romania. According to her, they suffered acceptance in Nigeria because of their skin color and mixed nationality, Finally ended by saying Tboss is being hated by Nigerians because she's light-skinned.

While all this was going on, I kept contemplating that the Boss Lady will try to win back the love of the nation on her because I believe that once Nigerians have swept you under their feet, written down your name in the black book of their heart, then your way forward is only a miracle.

Tboss is trying her best to win the love of Nigerians over her again, she reportedly forgave Kemen whose saga contributed to somewhat hate on her forgiving him was a step forward, and then she went on live video to talk about 'The groping saga' where apparently it all started, insinuating a way forward is a better option, secondly she is not in a fight with anyone as at the time of publishing this post even when clearly she isn't on the offending side, Helen Paul and AY as examples.

I know all these and more she has in mind should get people back to her, but then comes Christopher and Wendy Idowu whose actions might keep that plan of hers chained, just when she thought all the hate Nigerians had for her will die with the show, her siblings are trying to make it a tough choice for her.

Few days after she came back from South Africa, her brother, Christopher Idowu outed Kogi state born act, Tunde Ednut, insinuating he was using his sister' name to kick-start his career, shading the heck outa the 'jingle bell' crooner and the fight is yet to end.

As if it was not enough, his sister Wendy Unfollowed Ace comedian, AY, with the reason that he did not campaign for her sister, and then she outed 'Kemen' again, saying he should be isolated from events and photos that involve other ex-housemates after she has accused the TV show organizers of celebrating him.

Are the housemates complaining?. The victim involved in the 'Groping saga' forgave him and decided to put the past behind her, but her siblings have refused to do the same.

Nigerians have condemned this saying the issue should be left to rest, but just like a water being poured on a stone, the Idowus continue their outing and social media ranting, and the hate from Nigerians only boil down to one person, Tboss.

You know that awkward moment someone pours fuel on an already quenching fire, Tboss is trying to win back Nigerians but Wendy & Christopher have the fuel, all they do is to pour and pour and pour.

Are they the only siblings of an ex-housemate? I learnt Kemen has siblings, Marvis has alot, Bisola too and other housemates are not exempted. Have you seen any of them coming online to rant?

You think they don't have issues bothering them over the just concluded controversial show. I am not saying you shouldn't defend your sister or try to debunk rumours about her. All I am trying to say is help and make her world a safe place for her to stay.

Have you ever lost the love of Nigerians then clearly you don't know how she feels. Did it not dawn on you guys on what might have made her go on media to tell Nigerians 'Please Love me again'. The hate is much.

Big Brother Naija has come and gone, yes Tboss made it to the Top 3, she is still a celebrated housemate and a celebrity outside the house. The last time I checked she isn't deaf nor dumb, she can speak for herself, when she need you guys I know you will be there for her, apparently you are already, creating more issues and picking on Nigerians only increases the hate on her, making people have a bad image of the Idowus.

Recently, Christopher was in the news not him outing someone but him being outed for the case of an alleged woman brutality and abortion intent, something that would have been avoided if he had shut his mouth to some certain things, and I trust Nigerians they will keep on digging and digging and digging until they come up with something.

You guys have a job of getting the love of Nigerians to hover again over your Sister, and not making it a hard world, an abhorred society for her to stay and leave in.

The Hate on her should stop!! The show is over!

EducationOpen Letter To Gov Delta State On Plight Of Delta State Graduate Scholars Abroad by stane007(op): 12:15pm On Apr 21, 2017
AN OPEN LETTER TO HIS EXCELLENCY, DR. IFEANYI OKOWA, GOVERNOR OF DELTA STATE, ON THE PLIGHT OF DELTA STATE GRADUATE SCHOLARS ABROAD.
Your Excellency, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, we are compelled to pen this open letter, once again, to bring to your attention, the hardship and financial difficulties, graduate students, under the Delta State Scholarship First Class Graduate Scholarship scheme, are currently faced with.

A few months back on receipt of our previous letter, we were assured the state would examine ways to remedy the issue. A verification process was embarked on and followed through, with ancillary requirements from the board.

With expectations high, we approached our institutions, armed with cover letters, intimating them of the prospect of the state’s likely intervention, and for a short term obtained relief.

It’s been eighteen months since completion of this exercise, and are still without any funds, neither has any communication come through with some rationale for the continued delay in the remittance of our bursaries.

For many, studying and getting by has become increasingly challenging as funds meant for this program have not been made available to most of us since 2014.

The majority of us caught up in this, are studying for our PhDs-with some in their finals, and others in their penultimate. We already have explored all means to having this issue resolved, as enjoined by the board, and have received little assurances of a timeline for the release of these funds if any.

At the moment, our Universities have served us fees default notices, and have threatened, and with some others, begun the formal withdrawal process, and nullification of students’ visas- with deportations under examination.

In addition, the standing of the scholarship board with respect to future receipts have already been degraded, and a blacklist is already in effect. We’ve got memos from our institutions that future assurance/award letters would be dismissed as fraudulent and untenable.

In addition, many of us are currently distraught with unpaid burgeoning utility bills, embarrassing defaults, with county court judgements/injunctions and demands from creditors, becoming an unsettling reality.

We enjoin you to employ your good office to address this issue, with prayers that said funds are made available to us soonest, so we could at the very least, have tuition and basic commitments attended to. We trust that both as father and leader, our welfare has not lost your attention.

Thank you,
Signed: DELTA STATE FIRST CLASS GRADUATE SCHOLARS

CrimeCartons Of Wine For Easter Save Man From Armed Robbers In Anambra by stane007(op): 6:52am On Apr 17, 2017
Story as narrated by Visage Media CEO, Chukwudi Iwuchukwu:

Folks help me to thank God that saved the life of my best friend and good man Ezekpudoghu Chijioke

5 days ago, he rang me: "Nwokem where are you"? "Are you home so I can drive over and pick you for us to go to Oko "
I told him I was going to Awka for a meeting with a client so I won't be available.
What this means is that I won't be joining him to Oko community for the outing we earlier planned together.

I was disturbed when I later rang his number on Monday night to know how the outing went, no response.
I rang again on Tuesday, his number this time around was switched off. I rang again on Wednesday, the same story.
Instantly, the alarm bell in my head went off.

I was making arrangement to visit his house to check up on him only to see a call from a relieved and emotional call from him on my phone that Wednesday night.

Apparently, on his way to drop his companion on Monday night at her house in Oko,, he was waylaid by Armed robbers who double crossed his car and what happened next seemed like a scene out of a Nollywood movie.

These sons of dogs barked at him to surrender his car key. The occupants of the car were robbed of everything they had with them.
The only thing that were left for them is just the shirt and trouser he wore that fateful day.

As if the trauma was not enough, he was instructed by these idiots to enter the car boot of his own car. The criminals want to take him on an interesting journey, he was told.

His only saving grace was that prior to driving down to pick his female companion, he bought cartons of wine for his family's Easter celebration meaning that the car boot was not free for him to enter.

When the criminals saw that there was no space for him in the boot, they had to hurriedly leave him behind and then fled with their loot.
My good man was smart enough to install tracker in his car, the only problem is that he does not have access to the internet because his internet modem was taken from him by these guys together with his phone. So he had to wait till the next day, traumatized and heart broken before he could have access to the internet.

Guess where his car was? Badagry community in Lagos

What this means is that these guys drove all the way to Lagos the same night after collecting the car from him.
He had to demobilized the car, mobilized policemen in Lagos to go and pick the car on his behalf and will soon fly to Lagos to get his car back.

Psalm 121 vs 1-2, says and I quote:
1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
2 My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.

When you know that Your source is from God, trust me, he does not fail nor disappoint.

Dear young person reading this, go and install a tracker in your car. You never can tell what will happen next.
Nigeria is a crazy place to stay but one thing I know and I'm sure is this: God will always have the back of his own.

This is my friends testimony. Join him in praising God.
You see this God! He is able.

Romance'Stop Downplaying Sex. If I Love You, I Will Ask For Sex' - Nigerian Guy by stane007(op): 5:56am On Apr 17, 2017
To every Nigerian that believes if a man loves you, he won't ask to get into your pants, Nigerian Facebook user, Victor Daniel has this to say:

If I love you, I will ask for sex. Forget that "if he loves you he won't ask to get into your pants" talk. I'm being honest as I can.

I'm sexually active and one of the ways I express my deepest emotions is through sex. Love and sex is connected and if you love someone, you will be sexually attracted to the person.

Before I start any relationship with a girl, I make sure to let her realise that I am sexually active and sometimes I may seek sexual relief from her.

Stop downplaying sex. The importance of sex to me cannot be overemphasised. I will not enter a relationship with a woman simply for the sex. No. But if I fall in love with you, I'm also going to establish a sexual intimacy with you.

TravelVID: Nigerians Stop KLM Flight Carrying Chained, Handcuffed Nigerian from flying by stane007(op): 2:44pm On Apr 11, 2017
A group of Nigerians on board a Dutch KLM flight stopped the flight from departing, demanding that a fellow Nigerian who was handcuffed as well as chained like a hardened criminal, scheduled for deportation back to Nigeria be removed from the flight.

Those Nigerians on board the flight were unhappy how the deportee was handcuffed and chained on his legs as if he was a hardcore and violent criminal for mere lack of proper documentation in the country.

So, that drew their wrath and they started to agitate for the handcuffs and chains to his legs be removed and the deportation suspended or he removed from the flight.

In the video that was recorded by one of the Nigerians who shared the video with The Republican
News, they threatened to release it on-line in order to expose the manner Nigerians and other Africans are being treated by some European countries during deportation of those they consider as illegal immigrants or failed asylum seekers.

The groups of Nigerians on board the flight pressurised the group of five security officers whose job is to deport a single person, to leave the flight or else the flight will remain on the ground.

After a long altercation, the Nigerian, who was to be deported was removed from the flight and the security officers left the flight too. He lifted his hands to reveal his handcuffs and from the manner he was walking, It is apparent that he was chained on his legs too.

We hope no harm would befall this specific man in this case.

RomanceNigerian Transgender, Rizi Xavier Timane & Wife (Photos) by stane007(op): 1:12pm On Apr 11, 2017
Dr Rizi Xavier Timane is a female-to-male transgender singer, actor and trans-specialist coach who advocates for transgender rights. He was born and raised in Nigeria.

According to Rizi, he realized at age eight that he was a boy living in a girl's body, so he approached his parents about this dilemma. However, his staunch Christian parents responded with attempted exorcisms and other reparative therapies that sought to "pray the trans away."

This rejection and disapproval carried over to the community-at-large as well as peers at school making Rizi the victim of bullying and harassment driving him to years of alcohol and drug abuse and suicidal ideation.

In his own words, Dr. Rizi Xavier Timane told Ebony:

I say "for all intents and purposes" because for as long as I can remember, I never thought of myself as a girl. Though I didn’t know what to call it as a young child—I had no idea there even was a name for what I felt until I was eight years old, when two friends saw a transgender person on an American talk show and told me about it—I knew I was different.

I felt how the boys I knew looked: masculine and tough, not feminine and delicate like my girl friends. I preferred pants to dresses, speaking my mind over being quiet and demure, and roughhousing in the dirt was infinitely more compelling playing dress-up with my mother’s clothes.
When I told my family about how I felt, they told me to keep quiet. My mother and her church friends repeatedly performed exorcisms on me, trying to rid me of the demons that had made me what I was.

Every day between the ages of eight and twelve, I got down on my knees and prayed that God would change me into the boy I knew I was inside.
Today, after twenty surgical procedures plus ongoing hormonal treatments, I can proudly say that I am completely male inside and out. No longer am I the scared child living in an oppressive nation or the adult going through the motions in a life that was not my own.
I am now a heterosexual man living in the United States and enjoying all the societal respect and privilege I’d missed out on for so long, when I was not able to express my authentic self.

After many years of studying religion, the Bible and attending seminary at the Claremont School of Theology, Rizi was delighted to realize that God is accepting of all people, LGBT persons included.

Rizi is now 10 years free from alcohol abuse and 12 years clean from using drugs.

18th March 2017, Rizi and his wife, model Christina Ros celebrated their 10 years together, 5 years married! More pics below:

Celebrities''Life Goes On Without Tonto Dikeh'' – Olakunle Churchill by stane007(op):
The estranged husband of Tonto Dikeh has revealed that he’s not bothered about his separation from his wife, and neither has it affected his business “as life has taught me not to mix the two – no matter what,” he said.

Dr Olakunle Churchill who is the Chairman of Big Churchill Haven Limited and the Chief Executive Officer of Big Church Entertainment revealed this to GhanaWeb yesterday while making donations of foodstuffs and an undisclosed amount of money to Osu Children’s Home, in Accra.

This, he said is in preparation for the Charity Football Match sponsored by Big Church Foundation which is to take place on the 17th of April.

“The Charity Football Match is going to feature kids from various orphanages as well as celebrities who are going to share their time and love with them,” he said.

Explaining the inspiration behind his charity work:

“For me, it’s more like a vow between me and God that a percentage from the profits I make from my companies will go into charity works, and things has been running smoothly because God has as not seized to bless me.
Also, I feel fulfilled caring for the less privilege, because you never can tell how far these little support we are giving - goes in giving them hope; help discovering themselves and later becoming a great person in life”.

Churchill also hinted on his plan to sign an Ambassador as the face of the new project he’s planning to use in empowering Ghanaian youths.

“We recently signed Praiz, a musician in Nigeria - as the Ambassador for “Empower 36,000 Youths” in Nigeria.
We hope to do a similar thing in Ghana soon - because the future is in Agriculture. And the best way to reduce criminals on streets and build a great nation is to empower the youths.

2017 has also been a year of accolades for Dr. Churchill as well as his foundation - has Big Churchill Haven was awarded the Northern Nigerian Charity Organization of the Year at the Northern Peace Summit/Awards 2017.

BusinessHow To Grow Your N10,000 Into A Million by stane007(op): 11:59am On Apr 06, 2017
Money comes and money goes and the pursuit of wealth has become even more fierce in this economy. Because the capital you may need to accomplish you entrepreneurial passion may not be readily available, here are a few tips which can help you grow or multiply your cash at hand.
1. Real Estate
Now you know you can’t get any ‘Real Estate’ deal for N10,000… or can you? There are very low brow areas where rent payments are made monthly, some weekly and some even daily. This is a steady way to grow income. Imagine renting out a part of your room space (all depending on variable circumstances) on a weekly N10,000 naira to a working-class individual who needs a place close to his office? That’s roughly N250,000 in a few months. Now imagine you had extra rooms…Apart from that, you can also act as a rookie estate agent. Merely linking a buyer with a seller or a landlord with a potential seller can earn you some commission

2. Stock Market Trade
A guy quit his job and sat down in his room for a week with only food and his cell phone and laptop. He downloaded an application linked to stock trade. He engaged in buying and selling stocks of companies and in a week earned himself over N100,000. Of course, a lot of risk is involved, but smart decisions can lead a smart person into some smart millions. Guess you know you have to do your research well and be prepared to understand the market moves and make your own smart moves needed to make a living from this.

3. Participating in the FCMB millionaire promo
First City Monument Bank is currently running a Millionaire Promo. It has been on since March and will continue till October. It is very easy to get in, all you have to do is save N10,000 (only N10,000!) in your FCMB account for 30 days and a million naira could be yours, or save N50,000 for 30 days and you could win two million. You can also win other stuff like generator sets, flat screen TVs and other electronics. The dope thing about this is that it’s on for a while so you can continue to participate. From what I hear, this is the fourth season of the Promo and lots of people have been very happy from last year’s promo and even the ones before that. You should check it out. Here is the link to where you can find details http://on.fcmb.com/Millionaire-23

4. Starting a vegetable farm
Food business is always good business, especially in Nigeria. Vegetables are also widely used by everyone, irrespective of social status. I think it’s safe to say vegetable prices triple between when they leave the village and when they arrive their destinations. The most successful farmers are those who have farms outside town and bring their produce into town to distribute in markets. Think of purchasing some seeds and pick up some sort after vegetable to regrow on your small piece of land and begin something now. No land? Not a problem there are folks who would gladly lease out their pieces of land for an agreed later date for payment.

5. Loans
We have seen secondary school students buy phones with their hard-earned money. People need cash to run day to day. Weekly loans seem to play an effective part in this elaborate money doubling scheme but it takes patience, strategic planning and a solid business model. (you can’t afford to keep chasing debtors round the estate block). Of course as some money comes in the loan values increase (span a decent plan over the space of a year, and bam! you’re there)

NOTE: Everything good comes over a course of time, nothing great is built overnight (Rome can testify to that) so don’t expect overnight successes, there’s nothing like that. Leonardo Di Caprio began doing TV commercials as a child, the KFC founder struck gold at 75 (you get the point). All the best in your quest!!!
