Earlier today, we reported that Nigerian media personality, Noble Igwe called on the EFCC to do more, as he listed some major fraud fronts in Nigeria. However it seems his tweets didn't go down well with motivational speaker, Oyemykke who called him out for it.


According to Oyemykke who called Noble Igwe a snitch, he has only known him from a distance but his tweets shows that he is a stupid man who only knows how to 'colour riot'.

He wrote as he shared his video;

Noble Igwe had called on EFCC to do more in the fight against financial crimes, as he listed some major fraud fronts in Nigerian which include; Record labels, Estate/Property Business, Car selling businesses among others.

His tweets was a reaction to the report of EFCC operatives raid at Club 57 In Ikoyi, which led to the arrest of 12 ‘Yahoo Boys’. His tweets reads;

Record label Estate/ Property Business Car Selling business The Above are major 419 /fraud fronts in Nigeria.

EFCC needs to have a waiter stationed at every club within Lekki & VI. After last night,club owners are going to record low sales and Uber drivers will be busy tonight.

Online stores and stores on Admiralty/Fola Osibo are used for money laundering.

Armed robbers on instagram are regarded as G boys but in reality,their’s a different type of stealing.

People steal and then turn around to blame the government for making them criminals. Anyone that defends a criminal is a criminal and while we have a list for people advocating rape culture,we should also have one for such people.

Governor of Osun State, Rauf Aregbesola, made an uncommon revelation during an interview on TVC, which he confirmed via his Twitter handle. 

According to Governor Rauf Aregbesola, he has not received any salary since he became Governor the state, because there is no justification for it since he enjoys free accommodation, free health care and transportation.

Stumbled on #OgbeniTillDayBreak on @tvcnewsng. There's really something about governance in Osun State However @raufaregbesola says he's not received salary as a State Governor since inception. I want to believe I didn't hear well. I need some assistance here What? I'm at loss!

Reacting to the tweet, Governor Rauf Aregbesola wrote; 

Dear AbdulRahman, You heard me correctly. I have not earned a dime in salary as Governor of Osun. I enjoy free accommodation, free transportation and free health care. What is the justification for earning a salary still?

During the launch of Oodua FM in Ile-Ife in 2016, the Governor was also quoted saying; 

“When people complain about our financial state, I begin to wonder if they think I am spending people’s money. Some of you do not know that I have not received any salary since I became governor- of Osun state, why will I take that of others". 

According to the pay package prepared by the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission and which became effective 2009, a state governor earns a monthly salary of N2.2 million.

He is however entitled to several other perks, including constituency allowance of N4.44 million, hardship allowance N1.11 million, leave allowance N222, 370.00, and newspaper allowance N333,555.75.

Nigerian digital marketer, Tweet Oracle, who was Big Brother Naija 2018 winner, Miracle's campaign manager, has slammed the housemate and his brothers who he said maltreated him.
Tweet Oracle who shared his ordeal via Miracle’s official WhatsApp fan group, disclosed that Miracle is actually rude and arrogant in person.

Ghanaian journalist, Kofi Okyere Darko, who shook the table of marriage as he congratulated actor, John Dumelo over his marriage move, has been called out by 'angry' actress, Yvonne Okoro.  Kofi in his Facebook post, had wondered why men settle for quiet, unknown ladies and not the ones all over. According to him, this could be a lesson to 'sisters'.

However Yvonne Okoro who wasn't having the shade on single sisters in the post, called out the journalist who she said could have congratulated the couple without needlessly denigrating other women.

There was commotion in a village in Cross river state last weekend after a gorilla living in the wild met a farmer in the bush and followed him home.

Residents of Bitiah Irruan village in Boki LGA of Cross river State all gathered at the farmer’s home to witness and see the animal for themselves as many said such incident has never happend before.

Trying to figure out why the gorilla followed the farmer home, some said it was possible the animal no longer had food in the bushes, so he followed the man home, hoping to get food from there.

Others insinuated it could be a sign of favour to the farmer, another said the gorilla lost his way while moving from Bumaji village to Bitiah where an NGO takes care of them.

Facebook user, Osang Gabriel shared the photos and wrote:

Wonders shall not end. A gorilla followed a farmer from the bush to his house at bitiah irruan boki cross River State to his living house live (sic)

A thief who sneaked into a Lagos wedding and made away with the newly wedded couple's money and belongings has been declared wanted and his photos circulated online by the groom's family and friends.



According to Twitter user, Oluwatoyin, the wedding held at Event Gallery Igando Rd, Ojo.

The thief posed as a friend of the groom, got dressed as one of the Asoebi boys and gained access to the groom's room where he was able to steal all the money sprayed on the groom, wristwatches and phones.

The groom's family and friend wish to locate him, so please feel free to share this story till someone who knows him can identify him.

A commercial motorcyclist (Okada rider) identified as Okon Akpan, reportedly met his untimely after a dirty naira note argument between him and his passenger identified as Miss Titilope Fatai reportedly turned bloody.

According to eyewitnesses, the Okada rider had conveyed his Miss Titilope Fatai, from Okokomaiko to Iyanoba market for a fee of N200. However the argument started after Fatai gave the cyclist N500 and got N300 balance, made up of N200 and N100 notes from Akpan. The lady returned the N100 Note and requested for replacement on the grounds that it was “too dirty”.

However the motorcyclist who insisted he did not have a neater note to replace the ‘smelling’ one as demanded by his passenger, tried to leave without resolving the dirty naira note argument, but got slapped by the lady which made him start beating her.

Unknown to the cyclist, the lady was popular among the street urchins around, who in turn, reacted by also giving Akpan a thorough beating to a state of unconsciousness, and thereafter dispersed. His fellow commercial motorcyclists had to come to his rescue, after which they took him to an undisclosed hospital for treatment.

NAN reported that a Traffic Policeman at the scene of the incident, Mr Uzochukwu Amadi, described the behavior of the youth as ‘dreadful’. Reacting to the incident, a lecturer with the Lagos State University, Dr Kaka Afolabi, appealed to the Central Bank of Nigeria to inject new Naira Notes into the system, adding that the current ones in circulation were ‘eye sores’.

“We expect the authorities concerned to act quickly before more Nigerians fall victims of dirty naira notes.

“Our present N100 is the worse; it is no longer durable and its acceptability has become subject of debates during transactions, thereby leading to quarrels in most cases,’’ he noted.

Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, has set the records straight for those who think her son has blood ties to former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

Tonto Dikeh's clarification came after Celebritys_Kid shared a photo of Tonto Dikeh's son, King Andre, sitting on Obasanjo's lap while his father Olakunle Churchill watched excitedly on Instagram. The photo came with a caption which claimed the kid was spending time with his grandfather.

Barely a day after two evicted housemates, Khloe and Anto returned to the Big Brother Naija house, different dramas has been thrown to viewers at home, who already have their popcorn ready.

The first drama in the house was between Nina and Cee-C, and further led to a heated argument between Cee-C and Khloe. It all started when Nina ate part of Cee-C’s share of their breakfast without her permission. But realizing that Cee-C was angry, Nina quickly apologized.

The contractual war between Nigerian singer, Runtown and his record label, Eric Many is not over. Now the label's general manager, Johnson Adumike has reacted to a post by Runtown on his Instagram stories hinting of a possible collaboration with Wizkid.

Johnson spoke after we reached out to the label for clarification on the legal action on its artiste "Runtown", after he posted some videos of his studio recordings on his Instagram story suggesting he is working on a new collaboration with Wizkid. Johnson advised Runtown, saying;
'Runtown, rather than deceiving your fans by teasing them with a collaboration which you do not have the legal right to release, what you should do is to get your lawyers to come up with legal documents to clear your name just like Kiss Daniel when he had a similar issue. This is a way more mature approach than just throwing subliminals on social media'.
Johnson went on to add that; 
'Its baseless pretending to the public when you clearly signed the dotted lines and its only right to be reasonable and keep your end of the deal  and I Johnson Adumike will make sure that I inform the fans and followers of all proceedings and deliberations in court,so all interested parties can know current situation between Eric Many And Runtown at all times'.
We had reported before now that Eric Many filed an injunction at a Federal High court, against Runtown over breach of contract. The entertainment company served Runtown the court papers with Suit No: FHC/L/CS/267/2018 few days ago, and also released a statement that partly reads:
‘Runtown has been deliberately breaching his contract with us (Eric Many) for a while and despite our many appeals to him he has refused to bulge.

He went for a show in Las Vegas since January 13th, 2018 and has since decided to withdraw all obligations of his contract. He has steadily been recording an album without the consent and approval of his record label’.

However Runtown who reacted to the viral lawsuit report, tweeted;

Mavin's act, Di'ja who welcomed her second child few days ago in the United States, has taken to Instagram to share photos of the maternity shoot she had before the birth of her baby.

Di'ja who acknowledged that she is superstitious for waiting till the baby was born to release the photos, wrote;

#MYSON#MAMA BEAR loves you.. we did this shoot on the 8th of March 2018, a day before our precious daughter was born. She came on the 9th March 2018 Allahu akbar. I never espererit. I am so grateful. A heartless landlady in Zambia poured hot porridge on her tenant's 1 year old baby during a clash over unpaid rent.

According to a report by Zambezi Reporters, this happened yesterday at around 6pm. The little baby's mother owed the landlady K50 which equals NGN1800. It is her two months' rent - February and March 2018.

The little child was left with severe burns in the face.

A Female teacher of Kamwala Primary School who happens to be a landlord of Mr. George Simwinga of Zambia Compound in Serenje District has poured hot porridge on a one year 3months baby.

This happened at around 18hrs yesterday when she was claiming to be given K50 rentals which Mr. Simwinga was owing for 2 months being February and March respectively.

The baby belonging to Mr. and Mrs. Simwinga sustained serious burns.

According to reports obtained by Serenje Radio, the Teacher who is famously known as Bana Paul started throwing things out of the house in the late evening yesterday and later got a hot pot which was burning on the brazier and poured it on the baby who was being held by the father.

Mr. Simwinga pays k25 as rentals per month and says he is saddened that such inhuman behaviour could be shown on him by the landlord over a fifty kwacha.

Mr. Simwinga has since called for local authorities to intervene in the matter so as to see justice prevails.

Minutes after a Dana Air aircraft overshot the runway of the Port Harcourt Airport after touch down, Dana Air has reacted.

According to a statement Lailasnews.com just received from Dana Air, their plane overshot runway in Portharcourt as a result of the ​bad weather situation ​and torrential rain at the time of landing.

On Tuesday , 20 February 2018, one our aircraft (9j0363) operating the ​Abuja​ - Ph flight ​skidded off​ the runway ​at​ the Port Harcourt International Airport, as a result of the ​bad weather situation ​and torrential rain at the time of landing.

No casualty was recorded and all passengers and crew disembarked safely.

We commend the Pilot-in -command who was able to control the aircraft to a complete stop, before passengers and crew disembarked. We also wish to applaud the Captain for exhibiting the highest safety standards and handling the situation professionally.

A Dana Air aircraft on Tuesday, February 20th overshot the runway of the Port Harcourt Airport, Rivers State, after it touched down.

What this really means is the aircraft unintentionally moved past a specified point This, sometimes happens to a plane as a result of too much speed or that the plane is unable to stop.

The Dana Air plane, with number 9J0363, had picked passengers from the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja and had just landed at the Port Harcourt airport.

Henrietta Yakubu, the General Manager, Corporate Affairs, Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, , confirmed the incident saying:

“A Dana aircraft numbered 9J0363, flying from Abuja to Port Harcourt airport has overshot the Port Harcourt runway.
“The incident was suspected to have been caused by a heavy rain, which was accompanied by strong wind and storm in Port Harcourt.
“No casualty was recorded, as all passengers on board were safely evacuated.”
