Amnesty International, has accused the European Union (EU) of having a secret deal with Libya, who have been in the spotlight lately over slave trade going on in the country.

According to Amnesty International, the ship used by the Libyan slave traders to transport victims, is a European Union Ship. The allegation made on the agency's Twitter handle read;

A Ghanaian lady who visited her Facebook friend she has been chatting with for sometime,  didn't know the worst awaited her during the visit.

Facebook user, Akosua Sika, took to the platform to reveal how she was assaulted by her Facebook's friend's girlfriend, Sharon GH following her visit to the guy's house. According to her, the guy told her many 'stupid things' about his girlfriend, which made her almost accept him into her
life.

Here's her story;

"The screenshot going around is real no doubt, I'm a lady and I guess I have my human rights.. I was assaulted as a woman not only dat, I got my image tarnished on Snapchat and Facebook

A guy inboxed me on fb, we exchanged contacts and things wer goin on well between us, he claimed his gf was crazy bla bla and he liked me, we spoke a lot, and as a lady it's normal for me to ask a guy who claims he likes me something to see if indeed when I am in need he will atleast offer to help, no I wasn't hungry but we all know how guys can be, let's even assume I was hungry, what's bad if I ask a guy who likes or sud I say a guy I tot we wer gonna date money to get food?...

little did I know that it was a setup, the guy invited me to his house and on my arrival his gf was there with some other people, they disgraced me, took videos and even cracked my phone screen, forced me to unlock my phone and deleted every chat I had with him, deleted and block his number, dey even gave me several slaps and because people who are 10times stronger than me wer der, I could barely defend myself..

his gf kept claiming I tried snatching her bf but I swear on my womb, this nigga told me stupid stuffs about his gf that made me almost accept him into my life, so what is there if I ask him for money? Doz that warrant my ego as a human to be abused in such manner, physically, emotionally and even on social media?? Please rethink before judging me.."

However people who know Akosua, claim she's a greedy girl because her boyfriend just got her an iPhone and also takes care of her. The guy who shared her assault video online wrote;

In a shared screenshot, Akosua can be seen in a pool with a guy believed to be her boyfriend.The boyfriend was telling his friend that, the girl who was slapped (Akosua Sika) is her girlfriend.

However guys who have slept with one of the ladies who aided Sharon in assaulting Akosua who they accused of trying to snatch Sharon's boyfriend, have all threatened to release her nude photos. Here are what they wrote about the lady identified as Henrietta Sackey.

It was also gathered that Akosua Sika, her brothers and mother stormed Sharon GH's boyfriend's home after her assault video went viral, but they saw no one at home.

After a search around the house, they realized that no one was in the house at that moment.

Akosua Sika’s family eventually left the place vowing to deal with him.

Superstar Gospel singer, Frank Edwards, in an interview with Punch, talked about success, fame and how he stumbled on making a career out of music.

According to him, all he wanted to do was make music for people around him.

'I never planned for this; I had no idea it would be like this. Some things would happen to some people and they would say it was dream come true.  In my own case, I didn’t even have any dream. I just wanted to make music for people around me to listen to. I just wanted to do what I loved and I was okay if it was just one person that would tell me my music touched his soul. God decided to bless me and take my music all over the world, I am grateful for it' he said.

According to him, when one becomes a gospel singer because of the money, he or she might get disappointed.

If you are a gospel minister, you have to know you are in a ministry.

If you are in it for the money, you may be disappointed. It is not that you will not make money in the long run but that is not the focus, the focus is to preach the gospel of music through your music.

When your focus is to first do something that would sell, you would lose focus. If you want to do it for the business, then try secular music. You need to be called to be a gospel artiste because you would have to endure when the money is not coming and you have to wait on the Lord and learn to use your faith. You would even be popular and you would still be climbing bikes.

Superstar singer and actor, Folarin Falana aka Falz The Bahd Guy, has shared his bitter experience with SARS Officials following the #EndSARS movement launched by private Nigerian citizens.

The singer who had an interview with NET in preparation for his first concert  ‘The Falz Experience', said;

“On this particular day, they spotted us somewhere in Lagos and doublecrossed us, they then asked us to come down from our car. My manager tried to have a conversation with them but before he knew it, they gave him a dirty slap, he was close to tears. They said they would arrest us and take us their station. I wanted to sue them, not as a lawyer, but solely because they violated my human rights, but then, it is really sad that they think because they have guns, they think they are in a position of power and they use these to oppress poor Nigerians.”

He also suggested a solution;

“The entire police force needs a revamp. The problem is that so many of them are not as educated as they should be, so they treat people in a certain way. People are speaking up because things have gone out of hand. These are the men who are supposed to protect us, but they are opening fire on us. They have resulted to targeting young guys. Joining the #EndSARS movement, a Nigerian man has shared his story with a Lagos Policeman he identified as Edosa Friday, who checks people's phones at Iyana Ira area of Lagos.

According to him, he had a new encounter with the policeman shortly after his ordeal with the police 3weeks ago. Here's what he wrote;

"Just yesterday I posted my ordeal with the police 3weeks ago, little did I know I was about to get dazed today.
A police man approached me at Iyana ira this morning while I was heading home, asked if he could know me, I asked for his id, he flashed it too fast but I was able to get the name luckily “Edosa Friday”, so I told him what he needed to know and he asked for my fone but I refused, he let me go. Just as I was standing at the bus stop I saw him stop a small shuttle told the guy to come down, asked questions and started searching his phone..I made a video of him tho.

I took a small shuttle at the bus stop, usually carries 2 passengers in front I paid for 2 to seat alone, the shuttle left, just before we got to agbara, in a sparsely walked area, a shuttle with 4police men (3 on uniforms one on casual) crossed us told the driver to park asked me to get down, he asked for my name, I asked to see his ID card he brought it out but won’t show it to me, and immediately asked for my phone, I refused, and that was when I knew police is my enemy.

I was technically been hit and rough handled and forced to get into their shuttle, they were protecting the names on their uniforms so I don’t get to pick the name, I still managed to see one “badamose oseni” if my memory is still correct, I tried getting the plate number of their shuttle but they knew what they were doing, they won’t let me, Enter the shuttle to where I said, to the station one of them said, for what? that I’m either a fraudster, a cultist or a kidnapper for not showing them my fone.

I told them to allow me go with them in my own shuttle that the shuttle they came with isn’t a police vehicle that I don’t think I’m safe in there considering I’ve already been hit, 3 of the police where armed and pointed at me all these while. I knew it was Edosa Friday that told them to come after me and they had to stop me where people barely walked. They disagreed and I eventually got into their shuttle that was when they started getting series of slaps for not complying earlier. Got to the station, 3 police men on uniforms took off their shirts and were ready to beat me up if I still refused, (continued on screenshot)"

Cool FM OAP, Daddy Freeze has also joined the #EndSARS movement, just after the Inspector General of Police Idris Kpotun Ibrahim's bowed to pressure to reorganize the special anti-robbery squad (SARS) across the country.

According to him, SARS was a noble idea that was initially ac-couched as a means through which affirmative crime control could be assured, however he had negative thoughts about the agency after a personal experience.

The Ebonyi State Government has denied any incidence of alleged rape by the Technical Assistant to the Governor on the New Media, Mr. Francis Nwaze.

The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Emmanuel Uzor, said the government believed it was a case of blackmail, adding that it was only being celebrated by members of the opposition party.

Our correspondent had reported that Nwaze and an undergraduate of the Ebonyi State University, Esther Odinakachi, were friends on Facebook.

Odinakachi was said to have asked the Governor Umahi David’s aide for help to defect from the All Progressives Congress to the Peoples Democratic Party.

The suspect reportedly invited her to his office for a discussion.

After a brief meeting on the appointed day, Odinakachi asked to leave when it became dark.

When the social media friends met for another discussion the following day, Nwaze was alleged to have driven her to his house where the alleged rape occurred.


While the undergraduate student insisted that she was raped, the governor’s aide denied having any sexual contact with her, saying he was being blackmailed.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Odah Loveth, had on Thursday confirmed that the matter was being investigated at the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department.

However, on Sunday, the police spokesperson called our correspondent, saying she could not remember ever speaking with him.

She also noted that she had checked her call records and could not find any trace of our correspondent’s phone number to show they spoke.

“I have searched my phone and didn’t see any trace of speaking with anyone from Lagos to confirm a matter. The person (Nwaze) was just arrested yesterday (Saturday) and he is in custody as I am talking to you now. I wonder how I can confirm a matter before the arrest.

“The issue is that I have not been aware of that case. I called the Officer-in-Charge of SARS this morning (Sunday) and he told me that the guy was arrested yesterday for allegedly raping a girl; they even came to release him on bail, but they refused for now because a lot of people are interested,” she said.


Our correspondent sent a snapshot of his call history to her on a social media application, Whatsapp, to prove she spoke with PUNCH Metro.

The victim, Odinakachi, told our correspondent on Sunday that she led SARS operatives to Nwaze’s house where he was arrested.

She said, “He lied to you that he didn’t touch me. If he never touched me, how did I know his house? Even though the incident happened late in the night and I was helpless because of the reckless way he drove, I was able to identify the location. But I don’t know the address. He was arrested around 10pm. When he was arrested, he started making calls to the state governor to intimidate me.

“He thought he could take advantage of me because I am a student. His family members have been begging me, but I have refused to back down. I have a lot of evidence against him.”


She claimed that the result of a labouratory test conducted on her showed there was forceful penetration.

When our correspondent called back the state police spokesperson, Loveth, for a confirmation of the suspect’s arrest, which she had mentioned earlier, she said she could not confirm it.

The governor’s CPS, Uzor, said the government did not have any record of the case being reported to the law enforcement agencies.

He said, “There was no report of such an incident to the government or the security agencies. We read about it on Facebook and then The PUNCH. It was your paper that informed us. I am not aware that he was arrested by the police. I spoke with him yesterday (Saturday).

“This is a government that believes in human rights. If this (rape) truly happened, she should have explored the option of the office of Her Excellency, the wife of the state governor, to tell her story. The wife of the governor has been an advocate of such cases, whether sexual or otherwise. We also have the Ministry of Women Affairs and Youth Development.

“Personally, I believe if such a thing happened, the victim should have come to the government to let us know about it. As it stands now, I don’t have any case of rape. Whatever is happening in that case is shrouded in mystery. There is no proper channel to link the government with what is happening.

“When I first read it on Facebook, I called Nwaze to know what really happened. From what he said, it is a case of blackmail because of the way it is being celebrated. It is being celebrated by the opposition. So, I see it as one of the efforts to silence a voice that has been terrorising them. If he was arrested, I am not aware. If he raped anybody, I am not aware. And that is the position of the governor.”

When our correspondent called the suspect, Nwaze, his line indicated it had been switched off.

Nigerian indigenous rappers, Phyno and Olamide have taken to social media to apologize to their fans for not turning up for their show in Toronto, Canada.

This is coming after fans accused the show promoters of duping them, leading to destruction of properties before the Police intervened.

Phyno wrote on Instagram;

In Education, Ghana who her Independence 3 years before Nigeria, got her first University 'University College of the Gold Coast' in 1948, while Nigeria's first University 'University of Ibadan' traces it's origin back to 1932 as Yaba college, meaning these Ghanaian's got it's first graduates years after Nigeria. It is also important to note that Nigeria has also produced Africa biggest brains, which includes Nnamdi Azikiwe, Obafemi Awolowo, Wole Soyinka, Chinua Achebe, Phillip Emeagwali, Chimamanda Adichie and many others. Nigeria also has 5 Universities in the Top 30 Universities in Africa list,while Ghana has one. Oh they might argue that Nigerians are trooping to their country to study, but anyways let me clear you all; those who go to Private institutions here in Nigeria are taken as those who failed JAMB, and if by chance you find yourself in a Ghanaian Institution, you are taken as those who failed Private School test in Nigeria.

While Nigeria is still having a 'bad economy' with a Gross Domestic Product of 405.1 billion USD, Ghana with all its electricity still has a GDP of 42.69 billion USD, which means when the Governor of Rivers State talks, Ghana's President should bend a knee, because Ned Stark didn't lose his head for them to be disrespectful. The major economic natural resources in Ghana are gold, manganese, bauxite, industrial diamonds, timber, rubber, hydropower, petroleum, silver, salt and limestone, and Nigeria has all these and even the recently mined Nickel, said to be one of the purest in the world. Gold and bauxite alone account for 64.4 per cent of Ghana primary exports; meaning to a large extent, Shatta Wale might might be the remaining 36 per cent, and this is really affecting their GDP. Oh I forgot to add, they also export 'blackness', probably why their Football National Team are called the 'Black stars of Ghana', so black that they clouded their World Cup chances with darkness. Oh by the way, their GDP is not enough to buy the rich men in Nigeria; Dangote, Mike Adenuga, Otedola, Emeke Offor, E-Money a get together cake or even a birthday cake.

Ghana's media industry is a joke. Nobody took them seriously over Yvonne Nelson's pregnancy report until she shared her baby bump photos, probably that was why their President, Nana Akufo-Addo, hired a Nigerian media firm 'Red Media' to manage his electoral campaign, which eventually got him elected and disposed the incumbent President.

Is it food? Ghanaian Jollof that looks like what Jesus saw and said 'It is finished', please the thought of it alone while writing this makes me want to throw up. No wonder they all eat it and end up competing with Kiwi black polish for 'black citizens of the year' award.

Now one artiste in Ghana, who is not even worthy to untie Speed Darlington's shoe lace is arguing that our own dear Wizkid who has featured Drake, Future, Wale and even signed Ghanaian top stars to his label is not a superstar, as in ordinary Shatta Wale whose future is shattered. Probably this prodigal son who doesn't have any international recognition, was one of those sent packing from Nigeria with 'Ghana must go' bags. And to think that most Ghanaians are supporting him and trying to compare Ghana with Nigeria, is enough to declare dry fasting for 30 days against the spirit of smoking thyme in place of weed and idiocy. Apart from Kwame Nkrumah, Kofi Annan and now Michael Dapaah whose only hit is 'Da Ting Goes Skrrraa', Ghana won't be on the map of Africa because they've got literally next to nothing. I know say this life na pot of beans, but when lizard wan form say im be snake, children go carry am play for playground. If this life dey go well, Shatta Wale suppose illegally enter Nigeria go learn trade for Upper Iweka because, Iceprince's Oleku and Yemi Alade's 'Johnny' is bigger than all Ghanaian songs, both past, present and future release.

Peter Okoye a.k.a Mr P who got interviewed on Inspiration 92.3 FM, talked about he decided going solo and why singing with his brother is breaking their relationship, which he doesn’t want.

According to Mr. P who also responded to questions from fans who called, going solo could be a blessing in disguise. Mr. P also said he wrote the lyrics to remix of “Bizzy Body.” A fan sang the line: “Peter and Paul dem be one no be two” when he said he actually wrote the song.

He further disclosed that he's free to perform Psquare’s songs on stage since he contributed to making them, adding that his brother (Paul) can do so as well. On going with Mr. P as his stage name, he said “I’m still using P Square on my social media because you can’t talk about my story without mentioning P Square.”

93-year-old Robert Mugabe, who was expected to resign in a televised speech on Sunday night – but he left Zimbabweans stunned and avoided any mention of resignation during his rambling address, has finally succumbed to pressure of resigning.

In his official resignation statement he said: ‘I Robert Gabriel Mugabe hereby formally tender my resignation as President of Zimbabwe with immediate effect.’

MetroUK reports that wild celebrations are said to have broken out in parliament as impeachment proceedings were called to a close, the parliament’s speaker announced.

So earlier today, we shared a report of Regina Daniels, accused of threatening to release her friend's nudes for refusing to sleep with a movie producer, Richy Adams.
