Copy all ur data in internal memory to ur computer and factory reset the phone.. This is the quickest fix i can suggest.

Note: This will wipe everything on the phone.

Actually, Samsung Nigeria has like the LOWEST prices in the world! When i bought my S4, it was like the Best Deal around. I payed 108K, and I got a FREE Flip Cover (worth like 7K5), also 2 years Accidental Damage From Handling Warranty (FREE Screen and/or Motherboard replacement TWICE!) meaning that if the screen breaks or phone goes into water and the motherboard is damaged, Samsung will replace it for FREE. Two times! And this is not a lie, because my friend's S4 screen got broken and Samsung replaced it under 11 days. Which is quite impressive. And of course i got the regular 2 years warranty incase of any faults.
While other countried where selling like 115 to 125 after conversion. Bottomline, expect good price from Samsung Nigeria, but yes, i guess paying 100K+ for a phone is still ALOT!
Expected price however 110 to 120K.

- Yes, the 3GB LPDDR3 RAM is certainly a powerful one, samsung has been working on it since after releasing the S4 and it is said that this hardware should deliver PC-like performance.
- Actually, the Note series always come after the S-series, in terms of release date of course, so are usually a tad better. However, the S-series are more accepted. Take for example the S3 has sold 60million+ units (20 million in 100 days) and judging by the last time i saw Note II's numbers, it should just be hitting around 10 million by now, maybe a little over. And Now, the S4 had sold over 20 million (month ending June, setting it at around 20 million in 50 to 60 days). I don't think the Note 3 will topple that however, it is definitely a more powerful device.

It has become tradition for Samsung to release an S-series and a Note-series phone for some time now, so this is not a surprise mate. We were expecting the Note 2 this time last year also. S2 and Note (2011), S3 and Note 2 (2012), S4 and Note 3 (2014). And don't ask me if there will be S5 and Note 4. Because i don't know.

Yes, that's the problem we face, all sammy stock ROMs are uploaded to Hotfile... Most times I have to remote control my friend's PC in Dubai, download it to his computer, then split and RAR it into smaller sizes and download them then join on my own PC. So, well!

You are welcome! I also think the Note 2 is big, but for the battery capacity, i can bear anything Note 2 tweaked properly (by me ). Will have double the battery life of GS2 or GS3 even GS4.

Rename by removing the .md5 in the above 3 files. (Hence CODE_I9100XXLSJ.tar.md5 will now just be CODE_I9100XXLSJ.tar) do same to others.

I will say again, i advice to buy only main flagships. I9305 is not bad. But instead, get the real beast N7100 Note 2. Outstanding battery life, bigger screen, 2GB. If you are not that into technology and android customizing, modding, custom roms and kernels. Then get I9305. I'm a geek, these things are important to me.

LTE is a faster connection type just like we have GPRS < EDGE < 3G/HSPA < LTE. So basically faster speed, thats why most imes you hear them call it as 4G LTE. So faster speed. Operators suck as Sprint, AT&T and Verizon in the US offer such data speeds. AT&T is said to be the fastest with an 'AVERAGE' of 16.7Mbps download and 7.4Mbps upload speeds. Average speed oh! not fastest. But who for Naija wan give you dat kain speed? I mean truely!

Anyways, bottom-line is LTE is not useful in Nigeria and even if you have dat type of speed, then they now cap ur allowance to 1GB or so. wats the use? Lol. And Always buy and International version phone.

International S2 (GT-I9100)
International S3 (GT-I9300)
International S4 (GT-I9500)

International Note (GT-N7000)
International Note 2 (GT-N7100)

International Note 3 might likely be GT-N7200. Lol! I'm drifting away!

Seems like a hardware issue. I saw an s2 with this issue, nothing fixed it yet. However try flashing one of the latest Jelly Bean ROMs. Might help. Also, if it's very important, try ICS and GB ROM too... Just giving u ideas....

I9100.
It is related with the charging
problem.
Problem as below:
1) Although the phone is charging,
the battery still draining without
any charging sign.
Example, battery 50%, connect USB
for charging, after 15 minites, show
battery 48%.
2) If charge, it will only increase by 2% then it does not increase again but still writes charging

Get a new charger. And check that ur battery is fine too. Cheers!

faithclin: Lol have done it since and even flashed custom ROM...its actually 1747M...didn't see the M.that's why its been refusing to. I installed stock, flashed recovery and now I'm using Cynogen.

@Faithclin, go to sammobile. com and download a Stock ROM for Ur phone make sure it's EXACTLY the same model I1747 as you said. Most times, the model number is the beginning of the ROM name. Cheers!

I think you should just wipe ur phone, copy all your files to your pc. and format ur phone. Or uninstall GO launncher if you use GO launcher. If doesn't still work, wipe the whole phone from recovery. Check first few pages to see how to reboot into recovery

Sorry mate, but really if a doctor doesn't know what happened to a patient, the doctor can't treat the patient. So i will need more info to work with... Maybe he formatted ur phone, deleted the apps or virus on ur external sd. Take out ur external memory card and see what happens... Or try to get me more info...

I downloaded 3 diff stock firmwares for the phone, and tried flashing it via odin and it always fails. With odin 3.07 it gives me Fail (auth) everytime. With the lower version it says Write fail.

Are you sure you are in download mode? Are you sure you are trying to flash the right ROM? Have you uninstalled Kies (do not uninstall usb drivers)?
