OYIBN: The person that did the write-up on Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Tecno Phantom A2 is just being mischievious. In any country we have different classes of people - low-, middle- and high- income earners. Although I fall between middle and high- income earner, I will not spend over N100,000 to buy a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 cell phone. So Tecno Phantom A2 and Blackberry phones (have a Bold 4) are ok for me. As one of us in this forum noted, you ought to buy a phone according to what you want. If 1G RAM is ok for me, why must I go for Samsung Galaxy that has 3G RAM. Tecno has not informed us that that they produced Phantom A2 to compete with Galaxy Note 3. Rather they have produced a phone for those that can't afford or don't desire to have an expensive Samsung Note 3. Soup wey sweet well well, cost money. Tecno's specs are much lower than Samsung's so it is logical that it would be cheaper.If you can't afford to watch DSTV because of the cost, go for Startimes or other cheaper cable providers. The bottomline is what you can afford. You can't compare DSTV programming with what Startimes offer. Just trying to give an analogy. I rest my case.

What is your definition of middle to High income earner? Lol. I really want to know. Because I'm a student that earns 0 naira a year and I bought the S4 for 108K before it was even released in Nigeria.

Promhize: Samsung has even dropped the plastic body, now uses well textured leather in the new galaxy note 3.
The thing he doesn't know is that u wud get used to it in no time and even forget its plastic.

Actually, Note 3 is still made of the famous Polycarbonate. Just the back dat is 'leather'. Btw, Samsung are smart. the material they use make the phone lighter, and more affordable and resulting to good numbers after sales.

Actually, this is called Sudden Death Syndrome.

And unless you have a ROM (stock or custom), Kernel (stock or custom) and Recovery (stock or custom) with Samsung Update 7 fix, you are not 'safe'.

My advice is update your phone to the newest firmware, or flash the latest custom ROMs/kernels. Cheers!

HE WAS LUCKY TO PARTAKE IN THE SAMSUNG 3 DAY FREE REPAIR THAT TOOK PLACE AND IT WAS REPORT FOR HIM FOR FREE THO' HE'S ON WARRANTY AND THAT COULD HAVE COST HIM 38K
