masterP042: This is Nigeria. Almost every one likes to complain, and castigate the country and the leaders.. Until u have encounter with the average person out there, you'll know that they're no better than buhari or the average Nigerian they wail about. Every where reeks of wickedness and incompetence. Oga, take your foolishness somewhere else jare ! Whose duty is it to put things right ? UNTH is a federal hospital. Hospitals nationwide have been complaining of lacking Ventilators and personal protective equipment (PPEs) for COVID 19. It is obvious the hospital didn't have any and this is a shame ... a big shame ! . |
Romance › Re: Should I Lend My Boyfriend Money? by Staro: 6:01pm On Apr 22, 2020 |
Trayceey: Fellow nairalanders,
I have a pressing issue on ground and I need your contribution. My boyfriend has been working for about 5 years now. We've been dating for a while now and he has been so nice and caring. The best ever.
In my past experience in relationships, I have been quite generous but the guys turned out to be ingrates so I vowed never to give any boy my penny again.
When I met my man, he melted my hardened heart with the love he showered on me. On one occasion, I have borrowed him money and he paid me back. Now he's asking me to borrow him another money. Because of this lockdown, he has gone so broke and he opened up to me. Initially, I did not believe him but when I noticed he has run out of food stuffs and the provisions he normally stock his house with, I believed him. I have more than enough money. The money he's asking for is like chicken change to me. But I don't want him to get used to borrowing from me and I have vowed never to give a guy my money again except if he's my husband.
Please I need advice. Fellow ladies like me, what do you think? Should I borrow him? Don't 'borrow' him. Support him whatever amount you can. |

kikero: Hmm
Canada's budget this year is $355 billion for 24 million people.
Nigeria's budget this year is $26 billion for 200 million people.
And you expect Nigeria to give palliative of N626000 naira per person or per family?
Nigeria is a mess, but we are not up to Canada's level. Vote for governments who would make us an industrial nation, then we can talk.
To all those people cursing Nigeria up-thread...yes, we have had corrupt governments. But there is no way our government can afford to give stimulus of N626,000 naira to everyone. Not on our budget, without taking even more mega loans.
Modified
Even giving 100million Nigerians N50000 each a month would involve spending the equivalent of our budget for the year in one month.($26 Billion) Stop being clever by half, nobody asked Nigeria's govt for #626K Just pay #10K monthly into BVN accounts of states on lockdown. Is that too much to ask for ? . |

What's the essence of the lockdown if you ain't doing rapid testing and isolation of infected persons ? It's laughable that for 3 months and they have been able to test only 8,000 for a population of nearly a million people . |

The post clearly states that Katsina disbursement has been fully concluded meaning other states are still in progress. But how do you think explain that to a Biafran with nothing but hatrrd for Hausas? So, anyone with a contrary opinion is Biafran/Igbo ? Lol ... you guys are laughable, I swear ! Oga, haven't you seen the so-called social register the minister claims to be relying on for her disbursement ? Haven't you seen the registered beneficiaries for each state in that register ? Haven't you seen the figures for Katsina, Zamfara, Jigawa, Kano and other northern states relative to southern states ? So many useless idiots in this country . |

ikorodureporta: 428,941 Nigerians got cash in 24 states, 130,455 from Katsina – Buhari’s minister, Farouq And Buhari's stupid foolish ZOMBIES do not still realise the dangerous precedence their useless nepotistic president is sowing for Nigeria. Because you are president, you corner the entire National budget to your region ... what else is the definition of Abuse of Office ? Where is federal character ? Nigerians in Lagos and Abuja are crying of biting hunger but Zamfara State where the minister, Sadiya Farouq comes from is the second highest beneficiary even though the state is yet to record a single confirmed case of COVID 19. See ehn, the entire Southern Nigeria are a bunch of fools because I can't imagine the deft silence among southern leaders . |
