I've been doing a lot of trekking these days Sha. If baby doesn't come today, I'll be going to the hospital tomorrow morning. I just hope they agree induce me.

Is this not how I was hoping to drop my baby by 38weeks. That made me travel since 37weeks. Today is 40wks+1 no sign of labour yet. Mtcheeew

Are you sure I shouldn't just carry my bag and go and lye down in the hospital like this. So that this baby will know that I'm serious grin

My baby was brought out crying loud like town crier weighing 3.41kg, healthy with plenty hair. 17th August, my favourite niece's birthday mate too

Can't you just go ahead and take the maternity leave like that? At most it will take off two weeks from the three months actual maternity leave, better than the stress of traveling back.
Just suggesting though, I am not sure how it works.

it appears that's the only option I have now. I've sha mailed my Manager, I'm still waiting for his response/approval to commence. Can't kill myself abeg.

My BS go long sha....I have started compiling it small small so pls bear with me my Able Mama's.

I see you too Mama. I'm not so happy right now. I took two weeks sick leave from work hoping my baby will come before the expiration of the leave so I can apply for my maternity leave immediately as my company doesn't grant maternity leave till after delivery. Now the sick leave I applied is expiring today and no sign of labour yet. This is so annoying. I can't afford to travel back to resume work at 39wks+.
I don't even know what to do right now. Mtcheeeew. If this baby can just come today sad

Edd was 13TH too.
My BS will come later.....It wasn't easy but it was all Worth it.

Increase your water intake infact drink water like your life depends on it.
Reduce your carbs intake, start taking fruits and vegetables mostly..
You are already a term Mama, start inducing labour naturally... Baby in the womb has fully developed and only adding weight.

We are quiet because our LOs are behaving as if they don't know we are already in August. Lol.

Increase your water intake: yea I'v started doing that already.
Cut down on carbs: I'm really really doing my best on this one. But naija have more of carbs for food grin

Stay active & exercise: I'm trying too, but the heaviness is real o.
About my BP: BP is 100/66, They said I don't have much problem with this one. Tor!

My BP was 108/66. I don't know how okay that is. I also noticed my weight increased within a space of one week. Clocked 65kg last week and just yesterday I clocked 68kg. Hope I'm in order.

Yea I've packed my bag. Everything is ready. They ended with referring me for a scan. And that when I bring the scan result, they will tell me the next thing to do. I wish baby can come already. I'm tired of hearing "eat this, don't eat that, bla bla bla" cry

For the protein enough drinking of water helps clear it up and as for the glucose thank God ure far gone already and am sure baby is fine as well. But wat did ur doc say regarding the glucose. For me I cut down on carbs and switch to fibre rich food immediately like oats without milk,also wash some leaves and drink as well don't know their names again BT is ugwu is part of it.

My dear, what the nurse told me even got me more confused. She said I should stop taking tea, indomie and milk. And I should reduce the rate I eat beans, egg and be eating more of vegetables. I asked her what I should be eating na since I'm expected to cut down on carbs. She said I should be eating garri (eba). Hia! I shock, no be better carbs be that? Lol

Protein in my urine, plus presence of glucose at 38wks+5days. What food should I stop taking and what food should I eat often. I have few weeks to go.

I haven't been happy since I returned from ANC with that kind of report. Any good advice will help.
